  • I bought this about a month ago, so I am still testing its features. It does have the Assisted Cooking modes that are handy and so far I have tried the pizza and cookies settings. So far, so good. There is also a calibration adjustment available just in case (nice feature). The microwave is powerful enough, but you have to press a few more menu selections to do a quick 1 min setting, and the defrosting options are just meat or poultry. Overall the convection works well but we need to experiment with more dishes. We really like the design - sleek and easy to look at, and the clock is quite legible. The only issue (as with others) is that the chime for cycle end is not very loud. At least the phone app helps to monitor the progress and cycle end.

  • I have had this product for just over a week and the support is terrible. The web site is un-navigable. I have spent 2-3 hours trying to Get help or find information I need and I have been asked to enter the product number at least 12 times. I am going around in circles. The features of the oven include self-clean and steam clean feature and it's also supposed to be smart. None of these features are visible in the screen menus. I hope that this is just down to a firmware upgrade but I'm not holding my breath. I have looked up the product on model which is KOEC730SPS and the serial Number is DE3904613. I purchased the appliance at The Home Depot. Would somebody please communicate with us. I am an electrical engineer with extensive experience with IBM, Nortel Data Networks, Siemens Data and my son is a licensed electrical contractor and a licensed builder. I have never seen a web site that starts off looking good but does such a terrible job for owners, especially for a product that is under warranty. If you don't mind wasting a few hours go ahead and give it a try.

  • We had an above the range microwave and a built in double oven. My wife seldom if ever use both ovens at the same time and at 81 years of age it was becoming dangerous to lift hot items out of the microwave. This combo unit was the perfect solution for us. For me, also 81, the most used button on the old microwave was the +30 sec one. I was concerned that I would have to roll through a bunch of menus just to warm up my coffee. No problem. Open microwave door, insert coffee, shut microwave door and my cherished +30 button pops up on the screen. Love it. This combo is not a tall as the double oven it replaced so I had a bit of a project filling in the cabinet space. That panel above the combo flips up to expose a shelf where I can keep the attachments for the new unit. We did a large pork roast the other day and the oven temperature was right on with hardly any temperature swings like our old oven. We've only just begun to try out the other features: air frying, convection, temperature probe etc. The unit can be connected via your wifi to a cell phone app. I haven't explored that yet either. The only complaint I have is that I can't hear the "DING" when the microwave finishes...... but maybe that's because of my bad hearing? :-)

  • My previous oven microwave combo unit dies after only 3 years (Samsung) and we were forced to replace it. After doing a pretty fair amount of research we landed on the Kitchen Aid unit mostly due to the existing size of the opening. We decided we didn't want to have alterations done to our just remodeled kitchen a couple years ago. The local appliance store recommended Kitchen Aid and Bosch for where we wanted to be money wise ($4,500+/-). The Bosch was just a couple inches taller than the cutout so we went with Kitchen Aid. The ordering online was great, scheduling install was done at the time of checkout, no issues. I have an Affirm account so I took advantage of the no interest option, all is good. Day of delivery, the team shows up, no issues. After installing, I notice the lower oven door is not inline with the frame. The upper door is spot on. I'm told there is no way to adjust the door, it is what it is. After the first few days we notice the microwave intermittently fails to heat food. The light comes on, the turntable spins, the fan blows but nothing heats. I requested service through the app, the first company that came out, Quaker City, stated it's a "design issue" and "we're not closing the door with enough force"...I've been using a microwave the same way for more than 25 years, never had this issue before. I requested a second opinion and the next company (FAST Appliance) that came out found a Technical Bulletin Kitchen Aid put out a month before I bought my unit about an inner seal around the microwave door that can have extra material preventing the door from fully closing and engaging the switch to activate the heating. The tech showed me the bulletin and the photo in the bulletin which looks exactly like my inner seal. This process took me from the day before Thanksgiving to the week after New Year and I'm still not fully resolved. The second company that correctly diagnosed the issue is coming out this week to hopefully fix or order a replacement door. It took me, without exaggeration, more than 10 calls and 3 online chats with C/S, totaling more than 12 hours of my life to get here with a brand new appliance. My last call with C/S was me begging for them to fix the issue. The original service company that didn't diagnose the issue refused to come out and fix the problem even though they admitted their tech made a mistake, without getting paid again. Kitchen Aid didn't want to pay them again since they made a mistake and I was caught in the middle. While I like the look of the unit, the user interface isn't very intuitive. Lastly, if considering a combo unit, I would not do it again. We should have done a true double oven and a standalone microwave in a drawer. I wish our kitchen remodeler pointed me in that direction. More total oven capacity AND a full power/larger microwave.

  • We've been installed a couple of weeks but just now starting to use the unit after a major kitchen remodel. We need to watch some YouTube videos to learn more. But love the style and functionality we know it offers. Still waiting for our Microwave Crisper Pan that was offered at the time of registration. (Has it shipped?)

    Shoeman01/06/2026 07:45 AM

  • We got the oven 3-4 weeks ago, and have used only the Bake and Convection Bake functions only, as well as the microwave- amazing results with all the usage so far. Haven’t tried the fancy air frier or baking pre-settings yet, but very happy with the results of the even baking (which was the reason for replacing the old kitchen aid). I had to adjust the temperature on few of the recipes - when baking at 350°F was required,,I had to bump it up, and when baking at 450°F was required, I had to cut the recommended time.

    IandS01/12/2026 06:59 AM

  • This oven replaced another KitchenAid that lasted 23 years. It's quiet, preheats quickly, and has some other great features, like the ability to check the status on an app. Definitely 5 stars, although there was a notice in the paperwork saying that upon registering, I would receive an email confirming that we will get a free microwave crisper tray. No email and no one appears to know anything about it when calling their support line. While frustrating, that doesn't lower the overall rating of the oven.

    Master Pastry Chef01/10/2026 06:19 PM

  • Purchase as replacement for 10 year old Kitchenaid wall oven combo. Surprised it failed after 10 years of easy use. New unit is very nice. We were concerned about new knobs/menu being too complicated. No worries. The screen is also a touch screen and is as easy to use as a smartphone. However, there is no easy way to obtain the support manual for the control tutorial pdf that explains the menu tree. It’s buried deep on the website and is NOT intuitive to locate. This is different from the owners manual. Both microwave and lower oven cook as exceed expectations except for alert/timer alarms. They are way too soft to hear even set at max loudness. We have good hearing but our home is large. If you are not in the kitchen you can miss the alert. It helps that they are connected to the smartphone app.

    1GJC01/01/2026 05:10 PM

  • I've called into warrantee services several times and they cant find a repair company to come to my area to try to fix my microwave. It turns on but doesn't heat. NOT HAPPY

NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE01/10/2026 08:24 AM

  • I was surprised how easy it is to use the electronic controls. I was looking at a GE model until I read one review stating it took multiple screens just to warm a cup coffee in the microwave. My wife would have disowned me if the microwave took a degree in engineering to use. When first got the oven I looked for detailed instructions in the manual on its use. After not finding much I started to play with controls and found even the sub screens on functions easy to use.

    Rockmon01/04/2026 08:52 PM

  • Bought the oven for a kitchen remodeling project and recently got the chance to start using the oven. Smart design with easy to understand features. Have used the microwave several times and it's really quiet with a pleasant chime when the cook cycle is complete. Only have used the oven a couple of times for some bacon and a pie with the oven cooking even from side to side. First time having KitchenAid appliances and they certainly are a step up from our last appliances.

    Jerry7301/17/2026 07:38 PM

  • Overall, the oven performs very well, but the software/user interface is missing several features and instructions that would make operating the oven much easier. For example, more detailed onscreen instructions and perhaps step-by-step checklists for the air fryer and convection modes, and editing/deletion options for the favorites list. Also, following the initial installation and software update, why is the software version shown as 0.0.0?

    Dave Mc03/09/2026 08:43 PM

  • We purchased this unit to replace a similar model that stopped working and could not be repaired. Not sure we made the correct decision. Microwave has not worked out of the box. Have had one repair. It worked for a bit, now not working again so have a second service call scheduled. Spent 49 minutes on a call yesterday to order the "free" microwave air fryer tray, only to find that it is on indefinite backorder.

    cattjadfljaljf02/17/2026 08:16 PM

  • Easy to use, quick response on controls, preheats fast, and quiet. Unit is well-built, fit and finish is perfect, and it was easy to install. No regrets on this purchase. I do hope they upgrade the KitchenAid app to allow different notification settings for the microwave and oven. Currently, it is all or nothing for both and I'd like to recieve just oven notifications.

    JohnandAnn02/27/2026 06:51 AM

  • I bought this thinking 'wow what an amazing space saver for my kitchen but I regret buying it. The microwave is extremely slow and does not heat up food like previous microwaves that I've owned. Ive checked the setting on this microwave and the heating is set on 100% but it definitely doesn't work at 100%. Don't make a mistake and buy this product because I regret it

    Preinnzor02/17/2026 06:39 PM

  • This particular wall oven is the third unit that was delivered to replace a defective original unit purchased in November 2025. This new replacement has misaligned oven doors and a microwave that doesn't work properly.... doesn't heat or warm. Now waiting for yet another service call. What a piece of junk

    BR202603/12/2026 12:04 AM

  • The display is very difficult, too many steps, confusing and gets too dirty. The knobs don't do much of anything. The timer and other sounds are super low, even on the highest setting. Other than that, once you go through all of the steps and get it going, both the oven and microwave work fine.

    Mary333301/01/2026 12:02 AM

  • The oven looks great. I love the touchscreen. It’s nothing but fingerprints and you of course can’t clean the fingerprints while it’s working or it screws. Everything at new ideas are not always better and an option for old people would be great.

    Jane31703/12/2026 06:37 PM

  • After paying thousands of dollars and buying multiple products, I can’t believe the microwave cane broken out of the package! Then a part was ordered and the second door arrived worse than the original one!! How disappointing

    Aysin02/23/2026 10:32 PM

  • Seems to work great so far. One issue is that the bell that signals the end of cooking is almost so quiet that unless you are directly in front of the oven you cannot hear it. It also lacks a useful user manual.

    Horseshoe12/12/2025 06:42 AM

  • It seems very nice but so many questions . Trial and error learning to cook with it. Also they said to registration online and they would send a crimping pan and they never did.

    Jom411/29/2025 07:10 PM

  • Overall, loving my new combo wall oven. Lower oven is wonderful! Microwave/combo has been shutting off on me when used as a microwave. Not sure why it's occurring.

    PatchT02/12/2026 09:57 PM

  • We purchased about a month ago for new condo. We absolutely love it. controls are easy to operate with lots of options. It is whisper quiet in all modes

    JCS311/15/2025 07:10 PM

  • Not only are they gorgeous to look at, the simple technology is great. Our previous oven was 20 years old. Glad we are updated to the new model.
