• Totally delighted so far—about a month. The unit is elegantly simple in its exterior design and inside is spacious and maintains temperatures nicely. It does EXACTLY what a refrigerator/freezer should do. I am delighted that it does not shine my shoes, play news or music, connect to the internet and suggest dinner recipes, etc. etc. all of which are gadgets that can (and often do) break down Even more delightful is the fact that without water and ice dispensers incorporated, it doesn’t have an “ice maker” which constantly freezes up and has to be defrosted every two weeks by hand to make it work and need to be “repaired” over and over again. It also doesn’t somewhat irregularly deposit puddles of water on the floor. And without those “convenient” add-ons, it cost more than $1000 less than my “top of the line” previous refrigerator that almost doubled in price with repairs over its short life. —-Oh, and this was the only brand that I found which guaranteed the compressor for 10 years as opposed to the usual 4 or 5 without going to much more expensive semi-commercial units generally available.

• Got at Christmas and we love it! We went from a separate fridge and freezer and were very pleasantly surprised when everything fit without issue into the new fridge/freezer.

• I bought this refrigerator on the strength of my other Maytag appliances. My mother always bought Maytag appliances over 70 years ago,like the old fashion ringer type washer in which I still have and it works.

• This fridge was a replacement for another brand. I'm very happy with the door shelves, keeps clutter organized, and lots of room on the inside shelves for everything else.

• Smaller foot print than our old fridge but just as much storage. We didn't need an icemaker since we have an under counter unit. This gave us quite a bit of extra freezer space.

• I bought this fridge from costco, and I dig it! I selected it for a few reasons: No ice (optional) or water functions (this circumvents the future leaking problems), 10 year warranty on compressor (big incentive) and the overall availability of parts on maytag appliances (since it's the top shelf version of whirlpool). These things all led me to buying this appliance and i'm praying (with confidence) that it'll last me, with no major issues, 15-20 years with exceptional care! For reference, my 1997 GE double door fridge just went out after 28 years.

• We had to replace our refrigerator in our garage which we use primarily for the freezer space and for extra drinks. We switched from a French door model to make it easier to store and retrieve items from the freezer. It’s working out great and we really like the flexibility of shelf space. The instructions state it’s safe up to 120 degrees which we need in Alabama summers!

• I love my new side by side refrig. It took a little to get used to the different organization of stuff from my old refrigerator, but I sure like this way of organizing the stuff in the refrig better now! I didn't want an ice maker but a water spout in order to allow more room in the freezer, so it had to be ordered. It arrived in 2 weeks and I'm very pleased with it.

• We recently purchased the Maytag Side by Side and am really happy with the refrigerator. It is so nice to have a freezer compartment that you are not having to bend and dig through to get something out. It is quite roomy and we have not yet filled the freezer portion fully. The fridge side is also nice and roomy with shelves that can be customized. The outside stainless is smudge proof and it really is. I’ve never seen a smudge yet. Very easy to clean if needed. All in all quite pleased with our purchase and the fact that there is no water dispenser is a bonus.
