• I cannot believe this machine has a 5 star. I have to wash, or at least rinse almost every load twice. Bedding is the worst. Sheets turn into a donut with one covering the top. I just went to put my load into the dryer and the middle of the sheet that wrapped around the top is still dry! I only put one set of queen sheets in and this happens every time! Many time there are still sudds in my clothes and I have to do an additional since and spin or whole cycle.

• If you're in the market for new appliances... DO NOT shop whirlpool. I repeat DO NOT SHOP WHIRLPOOL!! I have never in my life experienced such deplorable customer service. From breaking 5 days after delivery to waiting MONTHS for repair, cancelled service appt and wrong parts ordered. Im still without a functioning washer and have a $1000 waste of space in my laundry room... I'm beyond livid, completely disappointed and beyond done with anything whirlpool.

• HAd to replace my old compact whirlpool washing machine after 15 years washing almost every day. This new whirlpool compact washer is no where near as good as my old one. First of all my old one was bigger and can wash more clothes. It had an agitator in the machine the lint compartment is hard to clean. I do like the fact that I can add time to the cycle or reduce. Softner compartment does not always end in the right pace so it can be difficult to add softner

• Actuator assembly already broke after only 6 months and whirlpool is not making the parts anymore DO NOT BUY. The whirlpool repairman said I have a “big ol’ paperweight”, and it isn’t even paid off yet and now I have to buy a new washer. I am dealing with the warranty but it has been 2 months so far and I am supposed to wait for the part I need, but for how long? The repairman told me the Whirlpool parts have the fictitious ETA date of 12/31/2099. No parts are being made but I have to wait until it’s in stock. Save yourself the trouble, just do not buy this.

• I bought it less than 3 years ago. It completely died mid-cycle. Lid was locked. Had towels sitting in water and could not even read the model or serial number because it was under the locked lid. It ended up being an electrical board issue. Called customer service and warranty at Whirlpool…they said they could do nothing for me. After spending nearly a grand I have to go buy another washer in less than 3 years. Whirlpool puts out a poorly made machine and does not stand behind their product! Don’t buy whirlpool!!

• I had a small portable portable washing machine that I used in my apartment for 6 years. It finally broke down and I wasn't able to get it repaired. I needed to replace it. I purchased three different small machines that were far less expensive than this one and sent them all back because they arrived smelling so toxic that I couldn't even have them in my apartment. I decided to give this small Whirlpool machine a try even though it was more expensive. I'm so glad I did!!! It took several weeks to arrive, but I was told that it would take that long. It arrived exactly on time in perfect condition and with almost no odor. Two weeks later it is almost entirely out-gased. The instructions for setting it up were easy to follow. It is slightly larger and far sturdier than my old one. I had a few questions and the customer service support was friendly and able to answer them quickly. I had one concern that I thought I needed in home service for and the customer service was able to arrange for a technician to come out the next day. Fortunately, I was able to figure out that the problem was caused by the fact that I had not removed the plastic film. When I did that, the problem went away so I cancelled the service call. It was a relief to know that there is service available should I need it in the future. I've used it a few times now and it works well. Be aware that the impeller system works differently from the agitator system. I find that the clothes twist together more with an impeller. However I don't see a difference in how clean they get. I am considering having it installed more permanently, but that would require some remodeling, so for the time being it I am using it as portable. I keep it on a small adjustable furniture dolly to make it easy to roll it in and out of the closet where I keep it when it's not in use. I haven't tried using the wheels it comes with, but from my experience, my little dolly works best. In summary if you are looking for a small, portable washer don't waste time looking at the more inexpensive options. This machine is well worth the extra money you might have to spend on it.

• Pros: Quiet, seems to wash well, except have sometimes gotten black marks on sheets. Cons: Basket doesn't fill with enough water for full load of sheets/towels. Electrical cord shorter than last model, so needed to find a different grounded outlet. Sometimes hard to hook wash hose up to faucet.

• I am very disappointed with the grinding, thumping noise the machine does during the spin cycle. The tech said this is perfectly NORMAL! It sounds it will explode

• I BOUGHT THIS WASHER AND THE FIRST DAY IT LEAKED. HAD TO GET A REPLACEMENT WHICH TOOK A FEW DAYS. HAVE MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THIS WASHING MACHINE HAS NO AGITATOR.

• I purchased this little machine on Nov. 25, and it has never worked properly. A repairman has been here two times but to no avail. He was supposed to appear a third time on Friday, Dec. 22, between 12 and 6 p.m. I waited for six hours, but he failed to appear. I'm totally fed up. I WANT YOU TO TAKE THIS LOUSY MACHINE AWAY AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. NO EXCUSES. THE SOONER THE BETTER!

• Wouldn't buy any other make than Whirlpool! Perfect stackable washer/dryer ever for me. Just bought my second set a month ago. They last for YEARS with any maintenance problems. Thank you Whirlpool for making a great appliance I can count on

• Transmission seal leaked after just one year and out of warranty period. Between the parts and labor to repair the washer is not worth fixing. This failed seal should have lasted 4 to 5 years. Also the washer hose hookup to the sink faucet has always leaked no matter how it was secured. The washer is of poor overall quality considering the price paid.

• I've been using the washing machine about a month. I am happy with this machine. There are many functions and easy to use. However, I don't like one thing. It's a powdered detergent dispenser. After stop machine, there are some water left in the dispenser. Is there any good idea to avoid leave water in it?
