• I bought my freezer a few weeks ago and love how I am able to purchase food in larger quantities during sales to save money. The freezer has enough side bins in the door and three racks so my food stays organized snd I know what is available snd what I still need to purchase.

• So far this freezer has been excellent we are happy with our purchase. I left it on the skids it came with it’s easier to move and perfectly level. Buy AMERICAN!!

• We have a wireless temperature monitor/alarm in use on this freezer, which saved us hundreds of dollars in lost food as we caught it in time, before the thaw. The appliance repairman diagnosed it quickly to the (bad) evaporator fan not moving enough air across the coils. He had to order one and will replace it 8-25-20. Don't know the cost of that yet, but two years is too short of a life. I should have taken the 5 yr warranty option, as the Whirlpool warranty is only 1 yr. Up until this, the freezer worked fine and we were very happy with it.

• Needed extra freezer space to store bulk items from the warehouse club. This freezer has been working perfectly for our needs. This model is energy star certified which is great because we have it in our garage in South Florida. Super bright interior LED and plenty of shelf space. This model has a fast freeze option for when you put new items in to get it back down to the temperature you need. You won't be disappointed with this freezer.

• I am really liking this freezer. It is no bigger than my old one but the shelving is better spaced and the bottom shelf pulls out!!!! It has a LIGHT!!! WooHoo I can actually now find what I am looking for. I also real;y like being able to lock it as well. At this point the alarm has not gone off that the door has been left open and of course that is a GOOD thing but it is a nice feature to have for that oops moment if it does get left open

• I've had this about 2 weeks, and I'm really liking it. Very roomy. It's fairly quiet - does make random odd noises, but they're not too bad. I do wish it came with an additional shelf or two - the shelves are fairly far apart, and I think it would be better organized with additional shelving or baskets.

• Electronic control is junk! A freezer made without an analog type control is a short timer and you will lose everything. I sell them and I work on them but the advancement into electronic controls will not hold up. Losing $1500.00 in meat and groceries is not fun. And Whirlpool could give a crap less. Their suggestion is to go buy another one.

• This unit is replacing another older refrigerator. Seems that reliability for the compressors have been an issue with newer units. Hope they figured out what was causing the problem because I can't spend another 1K replacing or fixing it. It's American made so that's a plus for me. Gotta support your local business whenever possible...

• Only been in use for a week and so far it's doing great. My one complaint is that when the fan runs it sounds like it might be touching something or maybe out of balance.

• Bought it in December 2020. I noticed that it was cooling much more than my 20 year old freezer. The seller said that this is normal. At 10 month old the freezer started making a very loud noise intermittently, not a warning noise, more like an old freezer, where the compressor is in the process of dying. The seller again said, that happens, if something touches the vents. Over the next few months the noise got worse and I finally filed a claim through the extended warranty in March 2022. A technician came, checked everything and said some fan is defect. On March 17, 2022 the claim was approved. Unfortunately, the freezer still has not been repaired. I keep e-mailing them and get told there are no parts available and I need to wait 3 weeks. Now the noise is on almost all day long. We can’t eat in our kitchen nor can we sit in the family room, because the noise is so loud. On top of that, I am afraid, it will stop working sooner than later and all the expensive food will spoil. These companies just don't care after they sell a product, which was crazy expensive in the first place, expect you to buy a new one after a year. DO NOT BUY!

• I bought this upright freezer to replace a chest freezer that was damaged in a flood. I always had problems with the old one because it had to be manually defrosted and I couldn't reach things in the bottom. This new one is self defrosting, and when I open the door, I can see EVERYTHING!! I should have done this years ago. I also love that it is energy star which will save money in the long run. I also get a rebate from my electric company for buying it. Thanks for a great product!

• Had for month. Small but roomy Has lock for security. Most efficient model for this size. Very happy with it and recommend as an economical back up freezer

• We purchased this freezer a few years ago to hold extra frozen goods for our family of 6. It has been a life-saver having more frozen food storage space. It is designed well and holds a LOT of food. So far we have not experienced any issues and our foods remain frozen. I like the interior design with the door shelves for frozen veggies and the main shelves we store frozen meats. Just perfect for us!

• Had my freezer for less than 6 months when it sounded like it was getting ready to take off. The noise was so loud n constant. The repairman said he could not find anything wrong but when he took the back panel off he said it looked like the just crumbled up a bunch of copper n stuffed it in the small opening. He moved some of it around n the noise stopped. Now that my warranty just expired its starting the noise again. Trying to get thru on the 800 number is a joke. Not happy at all n pray every day that it doesn't stop working or catch fire.

• Had for 2 weeks and working fine. Test will be how long will it last. The freezer it replaced was a harvest gold 40 year old freezer that I did one repair on before the freon/compressor went bad last month. Now that was a freezer of quality. Hopefully this one will be at least 15 year good.

• Freezer has plenty of shelves. LED light and alarm sounds if door is left open for too long. Has excellent energy star rating. Has an optional ice maker which I think could be very useful when we add a waterline to the garage. Only have had this freezer about a month, but so far I love it.

• Bought a month ago to replace chest freezer which had for 3 years. Difficult to find items without taking items out. Got tired of that. Love this upright one. So easy to find things!

• We have had the freezer for a few weeks now. It is working very well for us. No issues with temperature control. There is plenty of storage in the door as well as the freezer itself. The only negative would be that it could use an extra shelf.

• I have been waiting for a long time to be able to buy a freezer. This freezer is beautiful. It came in with no damage and the inside has so much space. So far it is working so well, no ice buildup, just an even freeze throughout the whole unit. Very pleased! Would definitely buy again. I have never been disappointed by anything with the Whirlpool brand on it.

• After approx one (1) month of ownership the freezer seems to be working well. The only drawbacks were the missing bottom shelf (not std on this model and not mentioned within the freezer specs) and no pull-out bottom drawer. Needed to cut a closet metal wire shelf section.
