This weekend I had the amazing experience of installing my new 2020 Whirlpool dishwasher. It is the brand new 2020 machine, built with a new technology which is called the "24 in. Top Control Built-In Tall Tub Dishwasher in Black Stainless with Third Level Rack".The new machine fits in the same slot as my old whirlpool machine (which never had a problem), but this machine looks and feels so much bigger than 2012 one: that is also an effect of the new technology. The Stainless steel tub is very nice and better for sanitization. Since the middle rack can be height adjusted, I am able to put very large and tall cooking pots on the bottom rack. I really appreciate the third rack which is on the top, where I can place all my silverware, tongs, and wooden spoons and save a lot of space for cups and plates on the other racks. A very well-engineered machine, built with all durable materials. .I have uploaded a video where you can better familiarise yourself with the machine, especially the control panel which has various settings the old ones did not have. The installation is pretty simple for a Do it yourself person. It might take less than an hour for one DIY person and for a pro it will take only about 15 minutes. A drain hose is included in the package. You need to buy a new water supply line and a power supply cable. I just love the new machine and enjoy its performance.

I bought a whirlpool dishwasher. The heating element didnt work. I upgraded to the stainless steel tub. The control panel didnt work. I had whirlpool replace it. It still leaves my dishes soaking wet. Now they say this is normal.

I purchased what I was told a “display” on 10/31/2022 from Lowe's but discovered it was a CUSTOMER RETURN that shouldn't have been put back on the sales floor & thus sold to me but was. After going back and forth w/the local Lowe's & their corporate office in NC and WHIRLPOOL, Whirlpool sent a service tech to verify the SUMP ASSEMBLY that's broken and ordered the necessary parts covered by the Manufacturer warranty. Sadly, the part(s) are backorderd & wouldn't be available until February 2023, NO BUENO. So, I returned to Lowe's and had them pick up that defunct dishwasher & refund my money. I ended up purchasing a BOSCH dishwasher and am quite satisfied.

We bought this dishwasher about a month ago. It leaked everywhere and caused damage to our lower level! Thought is was the drain hose, but after trying 3 different drain hoses, we discovered it was the machine itself!! The part that is pictured was faulty!!

I love the dishwasher but the customer support is somewhat lacking. My dishwasher was delivered with no -zero - screws on one side of the door. I wasn’t able to run it like that so we go down to p2nd person dropped the ball. I waited and waited, I then looked the correct screws up myself and then emailed and sent pictures of what we needed and paid $25.00 with S&H. The 3rd person dropping the ball could have not made me have to pay for what the 1st drop the ball not putting the screws in in the 1st place. Now, let’s see if you really read these reviews and someone says to themselves well that lady deserves her money back.

I bought a dishwasher in Nov 2022 @WhirlpoolCorp @whirlpoolusa a plastic part broke and caused damage my house calling and getting no response. My house is moldy, my other appliances which are Whirlpool are all rusted damaged. My kitchen is gone, floors gone, walls gone, house is not in live in condition. Does Whirlpool care, Noooooooo

Whirlpool dishwashers are great. Have owned a few of them over the years. This dishwasher is no exception. I really love the 3rd tray…it is great for knives and smaller items. Even with this, it has not reduced the amount of dishes that go on the other two trays. Cleans exceptionally well and has ample capacity for the rinse aid. Will stay with Whirlpool appliances!

Love how well it cleans and also how quiet it is. Unfortunately the first one that was delivered was dented on the back of the unit, but the packaging was not damagaed at all telling me that it came from the factory like that. Seeing that it is hidden in the cabinet we didn’t mind a small dent. That was a bad decision because the dent happened to have compromised a seam and when the dishwasher was running, it was leaking out of the seam and within the first wash cycle, had ruined our laminate flooring. We are waiting to hear back from Whirlpool now to see if they will do anything for us. We did have the dented one returned and purchased another one and we are happy with it.

This appliance was a gift. I like the looks of the outside-sleek, modern and it matches our stove/oven that we got a few years ago-also Whirlpool. I really like the middle adjustable rack so I can fit larger dishes below-couldn’t with the dishwasher we replaced that’s 15+ years old & also Whirlpool, and to fit tall items on said rack. I use the quick wash cycle and heated dry so the cycle is about 1 1/2 hours long & dishes comes out perfect. I do still pre wash by hand some of the dishes before putting in the dishwasher, just habit. I ESPECIALLY like the top third rack for extra items. I like the features of the silverware basket and the adjustable tines on the lower rack. Everything, functions and features are great! The only downside is I tried to read the user manual but the instructions for use-pushing which buttons for which cycle were too general and not specific for my machine/model and too confusing to figure out. So I’ve just done trial and error to figure out which cycle I want to use and still trying to figure out how to resume the wash cycle when I open the door not long after starting to put something in. I like that the buttons for cycles are hidden away on top of the door. One of my favorite features is how quietly it runs, so WONDERFUL! Thanks for making an efficient, low noise, energy saving and nice looking dishwasher!

I have been a long time whirlpool customer and I recently purchased this dishwasher and I am beyond disappointed. The dishwasher was installed on 10/18 and we noticed rust on the top and inside of the door. I called whirlpool today on 11/22 for service and they told me that rust was NOT COVERED after 30 days!! It has been 34 days and I was told no relief. This is completely unacceptable!! The rust will expand and deepen over time and the dishwasher will not be safe to use. When I asked for a supervisor, they said there was no one I could talk to. Ridiculous. I hope a representative sees this review and reaches out to me for a resolution.

The dishwasher is horrible I purchased 5 months ago and it does not work properly I have spend hours - days - missed work - with repairs and replacement s- The dishwasher is garbage Sadly Whirlpool has not been responsive and not helpful; I have to replace this brand new dishwasher - it is a piece of junk I tried to attached images showing the inside of the dishwasher following a cycles of extended dry and using rinse aid but your system would not allow or photo attachments I will never buy from Whirlpool again!

My lifetime first new dishwasher purchase, necessitated by the failure othe last (15+ years old). Installed it myself to help me get to know the unit, and I like it a lot! It's quiet and efficient and looks nice and cleans flawlessly and fits the space and caused no major headaches to deliver or install.

Unbeknownst to us, a small piece of porcelain broke off & got stuck in drain pipe. Alarm wouldn’t stop & machine kept draining. Called Whirlpool 3 times & waited a long time each time before someone answered to set up an appointment. Week and half later I called since no one came, I discovered I had to wait another 5 days before a tech came who removed the broken piece & got the washer to work again. The specifications of the washer was to fit my space but it won’t get flush inside the area since front of dishwasher is too big for the space. So it can’t get installed properly- very snug- & the front sticks out about 4 inches which is unsightly & hard to open cabinet doors on either side. Can the strip around the front of washer be removed to see if if the washer can be pushed further inside the space ??? Please help!!!

I brought this dishwasher and brought it home and the top rack was broken upon opening. After several attempts to get the parts to fix two broken top rack tub mounts I finally got hooked up with a local repair place. His recommendation was to take it back and try to get Lowe's to exchange the dishwasher because of the wait time for the parts. I don't have the kind of time this unit is requiring - very disappointing. Other wise the dishwasher is working fine but I bought it because of the third rack.

I purchased my dishwasher through Whirlpool and chose this model because it had heat dry and the other top rated washers all had complaints about wet dishes. My first washes used Heat Dry and the tub walls were wet as was the top 3rd rack. I have the rinse aid filled to the top and am following all directions. I was told it could be up to 2 weeks before your washer adjusted to the heat dry option. I just did another load last night and while the dishes were dry, 2 bowls loaded properly were dirty and the tub itself if wet and the third rack was dripping wet. My old Whirlpool never had a wet tub ever.

I bought this dishwasher a couple weeks ago. We installed it ourselves, we didn’t break anything we would’ve heard it and found the broken and missing pieces. Guess I should’ve paid for them to install it so I could use the warranty for this. Don’t order pieces from whirlpool, order them somewhere else cheaper. I found the pieces on eBay for about $30 plus shipping. I love having the third rack, all the cleaning options, and the leak detection has already turned out really helpful since it came with some pieces missing and broken on the left side.

My husband just installed our new Whirlpool 24" Stainless Steel Dishwasher with AI Intelligence Wash, 47 dBA. We replaced a 12 year old Whirlpool dishwasher that was still working but we decided to update during our kitchen renovation. I really like the third rack on the top for baby bottle nipples and hard to fit utensils. The middle rack is adjustable with plenty of room and the bottom rack hold my pots and pans, no problem. The cycles are very quiet and there are several to choose from. Dishes come out clean and I think the new washer dries better than our old one. Overall, we are very happy with the washer and even caught it on sale at our local Lowes Home Improvement store.
Ds_lovestesting_products03/27/2025 06:41 AM
Product was just installed. Looks good except that the toe/access panel that prevents things from going under the dishwasher was not installed. I called the installer immediately but he was on his way to another job. What distresses me is that he is insisting that the panel was installed. I sent him 5 pictures but have not yet gotten a reply. I understand mistakes happen, but they should be corrected when they do.

I purchased this dishwasher 15 months ago and the heater element bolts are leaking. I have water damage to my cabinet and wall behind the dishwasher. I contacted Whirlpool and was told that the warranty has expired and I would probably have to pay for the repair myself. I'm very disatisfied with my experience with this product and probably won't buy another Whirlpool product in the future!

This washer works great after I installed the screws in th eside that were missing from assembly. 2 screws were missing on the left side as you are looking at it that hold the upper rack rails on the inside. It leaked terribly the first time I had it installed. I had to take it out and find screws to put in the rail so it would stop leaking. You shouldint have to do that on a brand new dish washer.

We are very happy with Dishwasher Model WDT750SAKZ so far. It's only been a couple of weeks but we are pleased with it's performance. Not crazy about the amount of time for each cycle, however they have a "quick wash" cycle that is an hour long plus drying time, which doesn't seem very quick to me. There is an an "Extended Dry" feature that can not be accessed during the Quick Wash cycle. It does have a lot of features to choose from though. We choose the "Normal" cycle & the "Heat Dry" cycle every night before we go to bed, so that it doesn't bother us regarding the length of time. Overall it is a great dishwasher & I love the 3rd rack feature for extra large utensils, etc. The utensil basket is not on the door & is inside the unit, but you do not lose space, regardless. The two bottom racks have adjustable spindles (rows) to accommodate different size dishes. The middle rack is adjustable and can go up & down should you have a large item in the first rack. To us it is quiet enough but not silent. I highly recommend this product.

I recently purchased the Whirlpool 24-inch stainless steel dishwasher, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance and design. First and foremost, this dishwasher is incredibly quiet. You hardly notice it running, which is a huge bonus in my busy household. I can now run it at night without any disturbances. In terms of usability, it's super easy to load and run. The interior layout is thoughtfully designed, and I love how everything fits comfortably, even large pots and pans. The controls are intuitive, making it a breeze to select settings. The sleek and stylish stainless steel finish elevates my kitchen’s look, blending seamlessly with my other appliances. It not only performs well but also adds a modern touch to the space. One feature that I absolutely love is the third rack. It provides so much extra space for smaller items like utensils and coffee mugs, which keeps everything organized and ensures a more thorough cleaning. Overall, I’m thrilled with this dishwasher and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, efficient, and stylish appliance!
winterpaigewrites_33712/02/2024 03:12 AM
DO NOT BUY IT - after 30 days the control panel can lift, the front paint starts to chip and rust and they will do NOTHING! Warranty void on appearance after 30 days... even when it's a $1000 dishwasher!
Cheryl K12/16/2024 03:08 AM
I purchased this dishwasher on July 22nd. When the contractor we hired installed it on July 24th, he noticed a part missing on the top rack. Since I was having to pay him anyway, I instructed him to finish the install (the dishwasher was already out of the box and in the space; it wasn't noticed until that time). I returned to the store that evening to discuss the problem. I was told I would have to use the warranty to get the part. That was NINE days ago. I have had discussions with the store personnel several times (most initiated by me) with the issue still not resolved. I was told that someone would be at my house next Thursday to install the missing part. Two plus weeks to have a missing part installed is NOT acceptable.
