Quiet Dishwasher with 3rd Rack and Pocket Handle

• This dishwasher was purchased July of 2024 and has failed already. You can see a large amount of moisture buildup inside the door panel where the control board is located. The dishwasher was starting on its own randomly for a few days and has now stopped working completely.

• Very well-equipped and easy-to-use dishwasher. The problem I had with it was due to the mounting track under the counter. It may be useful for WHIRLPOOL to supply countersunk 1/2-inch sheet metal screws if this occurs repeatedly when pushing future dishwashers. The survey will not allow me to add photos.

• The first dishwasher that was ordered did not work and we waited a month to receive a replacement. The "newest" dishwasher was installed and we are already having issues. The pod ends up at the bottom of the dishwasher and the plates are not washed. Just a headache.

• The worst experience if buying any appliance I have ever had. The dishwasher came in a box totally damaged, shell and frame were broken, rollers broken, all the trays piled up at the bottom. Homedepot would not replace it. Whirlpool warranty has no parts to fix it.

• Wow! This Whirlpool dishwasher is great quality. It’s quiet and cleans well. It’s easy to load and unload. I love the top bonus rack for the taller spatulas etc.

• I have had this dishwasher for about 3 months and it has been a true game changer! There is so much room to fit everything after making dinner The fact that you can raise in lower the middle rack allows for larger objects to fit nicely into the rack below. I also have no yet had an issue with this dishwasher cleaning everything (even when jam packed). The different modes make it easy to get clean and dry dishes for unloading in the morning. I am so glad I have this dishwasher now, it has changed our families cleaning game. FYI, I did receive compensation in exchange for this review. Doesn’t change my view on this dishwasher. Have had a 10/10 experience using this product.

• I’ve had this dishwasher for about a week now, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance. It cleans exceptionally well — dishes come out spotless and completely free of residue. One feature I really appreciate is the smudge-proof finish, which keeps it looking clean and modern. The top-mounted controls also give it a sleek, streamlined appearance. I prefer my appliances to have a consistent look, and this model blends well with others since the logo is discreetly placed on the top strip under the counter — barely visible. The third rack doesn’t hold much, but it’s perfect for small items like drink lids and utensils. That said, while it’s marketed as a quiet dishwasher, it’s actually the loudest one I’ve owned. The noise level caught me off guard at first — I even double-checked the model to be sure it was correct. Over time I’ve gotten used to it, but it’s worth noting if you’re expecting near-silent operation. Also, be aware that this dishwasher mounts only under the counter. If you have a stone countertop, you’ll need a separate mounting kit. Ours was supposed to come with installation, but the installer didn’t have it on hand and had to return a week later to finish the job. Despite these small hiccups, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it with a few caveats.

• Contrary to some of the reviews I read, this unit dries my dishes completely. And the 3rd drawer for silverware frees us up to remove the basket from the bottom drawer, providing more room for plates and bowls. The adjustable 2nd drawer allows us to raise up a little to fit larger plates underneath, while still leaving enough room in the 2nd drawer for taller glasses, water bottles, etc. Additionally, there were some complaints about length of time to run. 99% of the time, I run it overnight, so this is not a problem. However, I have run on Quick setting and took less than an hour.

• Love my whirlpool dishwasher! Moved into a house that had a Samsung and couldn’t stand it. I know the whirlpool is far superior in cleaning and noise. Can’t barely hear that it’s running. Also very affordable with great quality.

• I had the dishwasher installed in March I had a leak in my basement and I couldn’t figure out why I had the plumber come back and remove the dishwasher and we ran it when it was in the middle of the floor and it leaked all over the place not happy with the product at all They’re going to take it and fix it however I don’t want it fixed. I wanted a new one. They said they would not give me a new one. I bought it at Home Depot. It is still under warranty, but they will not give me a new unit and then they want me to pay again for the reinstallation from the Plumer even though I already paid for at once.

• I love how spacious inside is. It utilized every space available, and very functional. Having utensil tray on top definitely save more room for other larger item at the bottom. Runs very quitely and very energy efficient. This is my 3rd time purchasing this brand for my previous homes and current one. Whirlpool is one of my go to brand when it comes to appliances because of their durability and quality. It’s a brand I trust.

• I purchased this appliance within the last month. My dishes come out spectacular. I love having the third tray rack. It is so quiet when it is running that I have placed my hand to the outside of the machine to check its running. The style of the machine is perfect that there are no knobs or buttons . I am again completely satisfied with this appliance and would highly recccomend it to be purchased by others.

• We purchased this dishwasher approximately a month ago after not having one for 7-8 years. One of the most notable benefits has been a significant reduction in our water bill—about $40 less during the two weeks following installation. Considering we live in California, this water savings is particularly valuable. Additionally, the dishwasher operates so quietly that we have often opened the door to add items without realizing it was already running. The cleaning performance is impressive as well; our dishes come out crystal clean. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this dishwasher.

• I have had this dishwasher for 2 years and the board went on it. This seemed like a nice unit at first and then just like the other unhappy customers it starting turning on by itself. You think Whirlpool would honor a fix but no way. They should replace the defect for free Shame on you

• I wish we could have afforded to return this thing. What a horrible mistake of a purchase. Everything about this dishwasher functions well EXCEPT that the steam is vented out the bottom, which creates condensation that drips all over the floor. It has effectively ruined a patch of our wood flooring underneath the dishwasher. We would have replaced it, but unfortunately our home has CPVC pipes and installation companies/ plumbers now refuse to install appliances on that type of pipe. So we're forced to live with a bowl or plate under our dishwasher until we can afford to replace it and pay extra for the specialized installation.

• We bought a similar dishwasher in white four years ago from Lowe's. It cleaned well, loved the utensil tray and was quiet. This thing was a beast especial if you used Cascade Ultra. We would regularly clean the filter and use Affresh to clean the washer itself every couple months as we take care of our things because we cannot afford to replace repeatedly. We loved this thing. Unfortunately, a couple weeks ago the motor quit pulling water (which I see a number of other reviewers with this issue). We have the extended warranty so no problem right? Wrong. We have not even seen or heard from the repairmen hired by Lowe's warranty department. They have missed appts and now the warranty team after escalations is trying a different repair company. I am disappointed that I went out of my way to buy American and it did even make 5 years especially since we do care for our things. If someone from Whirlpool monitors these please make this right. I dont care if you pressure Lowe's or their insurance company Asurant to get the work done or if you are just willing to provide us the motor so a local repairman can replace it and then you chase Asurant and Lowe's for the money.Please dont lose a 30 years customer who has always chosen Whirlpool for their household appliance.

• Leaked when I bought it and still do not have it fixed, or have a solution planned with whirlpool to get it fixed. Contacted Whirlpool right away that it was leaking from the discharge pump, and they were going to get a service tech out to get it fixed. They followed up with a call that they don't have a service tech in the area so they have a secondary company that is going to follow up and schedule a time for a service person to come and take care of the problem. This was a week ago and still nothing. Nothing from the service tech, but nothing from Whirlpool following up to make sure their equipment is fixed.

• I bought this dishwasher in September 2024. It is currently the first week of January 2025 and it no longer works. I had to spend $130 (after just spending $600 to purchase it) to have an appliance repair person come fix it only, to find out that the motor was burned out. After four months. this is absolutely ridiculous. I should not have to spend money on an appliance. That is only four months old. There are only two of us. We are not a huge family. We run the dishwasher once a week. There is no reason for the motor to burn out already. I am very unhappy.

• This is a QUIET yet quick dishwasher. I find the 3rd rack handy for large cooking utensils and my flat splatter screen. It appears somewhat out of sight with the pocket handle and position of the controls out of sight when the door is closed. It has a large tub capacity which holds large pots and pans easily too.

• We bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. I love how quiet it is, which is nice when I’m working from home and doing Zoom meetings. The dishes come out spotless and completely dry! Seriously, they are completely dry and spotless!

• When it runs, it cleans well. 9 months after purchase the recirculation pump died. Starting a warranty repair was easy. Waiting two weeks for Whirlpool to ship it when the part is available overnight from Amazon, not convenient. Lastly, this is not a quiet dishwasher, especially during the fill cycle and wash cycle. No batting or insulation to dampen sound.

• I purchased this dishwasher from Costco and they delivered it and installed it. I’ve only had it for a little over a week but it works great. My only question is how do I adjust the top rack, not the third rack but the middle one.
