• I do not recommend this fume hood. We have this fume hood installed on our new build by the builder. Within a month of use, the fume hood started to drip oil onto the stove. Wish there was at least a drip collection tray I could install to catch the drips.

• This replaced the microwave and gave me so much more cooking room. I love the clean lines as well! Who ever thought putting a microwave above a cook top?

• This range hood was in the home when purchased. I will be replacing sooner than later as it is supper noisey, sounds like an airplane is in the house. One can not hear the TV or have a conversation when going.

• Brand new home, builder installed, Nice and quiet. Does it job mostly well. The part I don't like is, the motor dripping oil.

• Builder installed in new house. Very boxy, cheap looking. Chimney section is a very thin metal. Every touch leaves a mark that is difficult to remove. Is very loud on medium and high settings and while quieter on lowest setting, fan doesn’t work hard enough to remove the air. Easier and more pleasant to open a couple of windows when needed than to turn this on, put up with the loud noise and then spend time cleaning off the fingerprints.

• I also found the air flow to be insufficient. I can easily set off smoke detectors with the fan loudly on hi speed. Mine was installed in a new house with the vent and flapper on the side of the house. I noticed in the installation instructions that if I have an external flapper vent, I should remove the damper supplied with the unit. How can I confirm that this was done by the contractor without taking the whole thing off?

• The product specified the distance from the cook top to be positioned. The chimney was not long enough to reach my 9 foot ceiling height even though that is average ceiling height in homes today. It was going to cost more than 50% of the cost of the original hood for a chimney extension. That is ridiculous and I suggest intentional. to spend hundreds of dollars for 9 inches of thin gauge stainless steal.

• As part of a new home bundle, the range works as expected. Looks great with the cabinets. It's a replacement for the over-the-range microwave and I don't regret it.

• Under 2 years and one LED went out. Will cost over $70 per bulb and very hard to find. They are on back order. horrible, shame on you whirpool. It is a light bulb!!!!! I will go out of my way to never purchase whirpool again and I have 9 different whirpool products. (2 ovens, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas range, and this horrible range hood)

• This range hood does a great job of keeping air moving around the cooking area. The speed controls are old school buttons that do the job well.

• Doesn't dry thoroughly, even with additive. Class dries spotless. Plastic and pans still wet and need to be hand dried

• Really nice-looking fan. Fan and light buttons are loose and feel a little cheap. Overall, though, happy with the separate fan situation as it's a much better and more efficient configuration than a microwave with a fan over the stove. I've cleaned it with stainless steel cleaner and it cleans okay. Just know that you get what you pay for.

• I bought this product 3 months ago. I like it so far. One issue I had was the rods that hold the charcoal filters in place. They are not long enough. I also feel the price was a high. Also I had to buy the ductless kit it was way over priced for a piece of plastic and 2 filters (100 dollars). So far so good but time will tell.

• This hood looks good & it works pretty good. I can still smell the food upstairs, but I’ve only used it on the lowest setting. It might work better if I use the higher settings. I’ll have to try that next. It’s not super noisy, but it’s not quiet either. You definitely know when it’s running.

• I really like this stove hood, but question the design of the damper. When I turn off the fan, i can hear one half of the damper drop. Then, several minutes later, the other half drops. I would have preferred a manual damper.
