• Moved into a new build house end of May and this vent was included in the build. No issues. I like the lights that are up front which illuminate my cook area. I once had a range hood with lights in the back which did nothing to illuminate your cook area, so I am thrilled that this one has them up front where they are useful.

• This vent has poor air flow. Doesn't remove even the slightest bit a smoke, so my fire alarms almost always go off. Additionally, the grease filters are not OEM( made by ARMA?), and only two layer mesh. As result, grease and oil gets through the filter, condenses on fan cowling and then eventually drips on to the range.

• We moved into our new home 9 months ago. This hood is loud and leaks oil into my glass stove. Service has come in and says it is cooking oil accumulation. I hardly cook. Their solution was to send 2 new vents which are flimsy and bent. Very poor product

• This hood fan works fine, however there is an issue with the manufacturing area regarding where the corners meet to hold the grease screens in place. I am currently working with Whirlpool to resolve this issue and have it fixed or entirely replaced.

• During installation (I assume) no care was taken about finger prints, therefore I am stuck with the job of cleaning them off…I have tried a dry soft cloth & a wet one (w/o any cleaning solution) and they are still there..any recommendations?

• HI, it came with our home, we were hoping for a wood hood, honestly. The hood is fine but the chimney is very flimsy and does not go all the way to the top so they added metal to make it work.
