Bought this to take a side by side. What a difference! Way more storage thoughtful organization and the fruit and vegetables drawers are perfect. Front ice and water control are easy and the accurate measurements of water dispensing is a bonus. The freezer compartment is large and nicely divided up and the pull out basket makes finding things fast and easy. I did notice the ice maker being a bit noisy but no worse than other brands I owned. Made in America was another big reason I bought Whirlpool. Overall I am 100% satisfied and the fridge looks nice in my kitchen. Oh and magnets stick to the front door!

We purchased our new ref/frzr just about one month ago because I had had one close to 20 years ago and loved it. It has the freezer on the bottom. It’s so much easier to gind things. And, this updated product comes with a humidity setting for the whole ref section. It’s wonderful because food last longer when the moisture is low. We also have more door space which holds more. I especially like the idea of filling my water bottle from the ref because it is filtered and cold. I absolutely love it. It even has two drawers for frozen meals or whatever you want to freeze.

Very nice features and frig quality is the best. Wife loves the frig so much it has made her want to cook more.

We bought this a month ago because my husband is tall and could never see anything below the top shelf of the refrigerator when we had a top freezer. Now he can see everything including the freezer compartment because the freezer compartment is a pull out drawer with two pull out shelves! We love the size, the openness, the water and ice dispenser on the door! I especially love the rapid freeze ice feature for parties! It also has an large ice drawer for when you want large quantities of ice! This is the best refrigerator I have ever had...and I have had many! The price was so unbeatable! You won’t regret this purchase!

We bought a new to us house that had been remodeled with a standard refrigerator opening which most new frigs don't fit in. This model did, except for the crown in the top and the door hinges that prevent the cabinets above it from opening so the space had to be modified for the frig to fit into the space. This is a problem I found with all of the frigs we looked at. As for the frig functions, it's great and looks great. The one drawback is that you will need to adjust the shelf's to accommodate tall containers. maybe even remove one of them if you have a lot of tall containers. The middle frig draw is very continent for multiple items and the freezer have a lot of space for large items and a shelf for smaller ones. Overall we love our new frig and one of the best thing is that it's made in the USA which helps us support each other.

I was looking to purchase a new refrigerator and after seeing everything that the Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator had to offer I was sold. The reviews were excellent and so was the price. I have a family of 4 and we are all extremely pleased with the new Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator. We love the way the refrigerator is designed into divided sections. Please review attached photos. The features are extremely easy to use and the refrigerator is so quiet that you don't even no that it is running. We also use a lot of ice and the large ice maker is perfect for us and our 4 German Shepherds. (The dogs love ice and ice water.) Bottom line, you can not beat a Whirlpool Product. I highly recommend.

I’ve had this for about a month now and I absolutely love it! It’s a beautiful looking refrigerator. It’s super quiet, it’s makes great crushed ice and it holds a lot of food. The freezer is awesome, you can see the things in it. But my favorite part is the middle drawer access, great for the kids snack items, lunch meats, I even put all my pickles and relish in it. The one thing Im not crazy about is the door shelves on the ice maker side. You really can’t fit anything on them. All in all I LOVE IT!

I called this the "fancy fridge" for months when I first purchased this (I grew up poor :) I loved it right away, good space, love the drawer, the LED lights are great. Yes, the ice maker is a bit loud but it didn't bother me. BUT after about 6 months the fridge started to RUST. I've now had the fridge for almost 2 years and the rust is annoying me to no extent. I called Whirlpool over a year ago and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Tried to just give me some pointers on how to get rid of it, which didn't work. Now some of the lining is ripping too. I don't know, buying from an established company and spending $2500 on a fridge, I have to say I am pretty disappointed.

I love the size of the fridge. The middle drawer is a great idea. Easy to store and fruits and veggies in the shallow drawers. Tons of room for taller items like milk cartons and wine bottles! Needed a new fridge and have other whirlpool appliances. All looks complete now. Very happy!

Purchased this model when my Maytag died after 13 years. So far I’m pleased with my purchase after 1 month. Things I like: The middle shelf is great, it saves so much room up top. We use it for drinks and juices(water bottles are too tall) The freezer is quite roomy and the wire baskets are deep and sturdy(one drawback is that nothing is removable so cleaning a spill of any kind is going to be a chore) The entire refrigerator can be moved with one hand, makes cleaning behind it so easy. The measured water dispenser makes filling large containers a snap and is handy for recipes. Things I’d change: The deli/produce bins are small and don’t hold much. This is fine for a couple but would not work for a large family or bulk produce. The ice maker is noisy but not loud enough to wake a person. The condiment shelves on one of the doors are small and narrow, I’m thinking only butter and very small/slender bottles or jars can fit there. The crushed ice feature is nice but makes a slight mess because it spits ice chips everywhere when filling a glass.

I picked this fridge as part of my new home build. I was super excited to finally have water and ice I. The door, and I am totally loving those features, as well as the alarm that tells me when one of the doors/drawers has been left open. What takes one star away, for me, is the configuration in both the fridge and freezer areas. It’s been a challenge getting used to the bottom freezer and the limitations of having the drawers. Likewise, in the fridge section I’ve left the shelves as they were when I moved in. I’m not sure if rearranging will net me any additional space. It’s all working for now, but there’s room for improvement. Overall, however, I’m very happy with my purchase!

I bought this fridge a couple of months ago. It works fine so far but the quality of the fridge parts are failing quickly. The first thing I noticed was not evenly attached the info label inside the fridge (please see picture) after which I immediately began to doubt the quality of everything else... The door bins trims are falling apart (please see pictures). The doors do not line up even after leveling the fridge (please see picture). This review asks if I recommend this product to a friend? I chose NO until they fix my fridge issues. I will update my review if I get representative contacts me and fixes the problems.

I absolutely love my new refrigerator! I previously had an older model French door Whirlpool but without the drawers. This new fridge alerts me if the doors aren’t closed completely, I can separate my fresh veggies in the upper drawer which keeps them fresher due to the temperature control difference, and the overall space (OMG!) is amazing! I’m able to organize my food items so I’m able to see them which helps me avoid repurchasing items I already have. I haven’t yet used all the control features offered on the control panel but I’m sure I will in time. I have eliminated my portable ice maker, which created space on my countertop because my new and beautiful Whirpool refrigerator has filtered water and ice (I love crushed ice) which also makes making my smoothies easier.

Have had refrigerator for a month now & do love just about everything about it. The refrigerator space is awesome! & we love the middle easy access drawer (still working out the best things to keep in there…LOL). However, there are 2 reasons I took off one star: the freezer space is surprisingly less than our old side by side of equal total cu.ft. We had to move items that were in our old freezer to our extra one in the garage. Also, it runs VERY LOUD most of the time. Much louder than the 20 yr old refrigerator it replaced. So much so that we’re concerned there’s something wrong or the life expectancy will be shortened. Hopefully we’re wrong & this is normal for the newer refrigerators. Time will tell…

Awoke and heard water running as I entered the kitchen. Felt water on my feet. Opened refrigerator to find every drawer and shelf full of water. Everything floating from cabbage to partially used condiment containers. Food warm, frozen food thawed. Goodbye to just purchased lobster, shrimp and steaks. There goes our anniversary dinner. Filled a 15 gallon shop vacuum three times. Floor warped and we are still spraying bleach in basement before replacing insulation. Don’t buy this model. It was just barely out of warranty.

We've had this fridge for a few weeks now, transitioning from a Samsung side-by-side. Pros so far: big pull-out fridge drawer (awesome for snacky stuff like yogurt, cheese sticks, fruit cups, etc), more space in fridge, nice looking, backlit water/ice dispensers, WAY easier to find stuff in the freezer vs our old side-by-side, adjustable humidity in fridge drawers for fruit vs veggies. Seems like our fruits/veggies last longer before going bad vs our old fridge. Cons so far: veggies keep freezing in the veggie drawer (AND in the larger pull-out drawer); some areas in the fridge are a little dark due to light location; some of the fridge door shelves are extremely small and have very limited use, but we're getting used to it. We fill water bottles often with ice and water, and it's a little tricky to get the ice into the bottle without spilling everywhere. Sometimes the cubes are stuck together (2 or 3 wide) and get caught up, but not a huge deal. The fridge does have a low hum most of the time...it's not a deal breaker but it can be annoying, especially if you are in and out of the fridge often while cooking. It will stop running when the doors are open, then kick on again when you close them. Off and on, over and over again gets annoying but again, not a deal breaker. I'm sure in a few months we won't even notice it anymore. The ice/water dispensers wouldn't work consistently when we first received the fridge. Called customer service and they were extremely helpful and scheduled a local repair company to come out in 2 days. Repair guy immediately knew what was wrong - said the seals around that door were warped and not pushing a button completely in on the inside of the fridge. We found a short-term "fix" - if we grab the bottom edge of that fridge door and lift up (will move about an inch), it seems to solve the problem for a bit....long enough to get ice & water for sure. It's a nuisance, but only temporary - new door is on order and expected in 4-6 weeks. Overall I think we're pretty happy with our purchase. Refrigerator reviews are all over the board and we had a tough time figuring out what to get, but I think keeping your expectations realistic makes a big difference.

3 years old: The clear coat is coming off on the door. We've only ever washed it off with dishsoap and a soft rag. Plastic shelves in the door have cracked under regular use. One of the drawers on the shelf came dysfunctional. The track was not put together correctly. I worked with Whirlpool for months to get it corrected. It was an awful experience. They didn't have any certified technicians in our area, and no technicians from out of the area would take the job. We ended up getting the parts and putting them together ourselves.

My wife and I bought this 25cu ft whirlpool french door refrigerator to replace our aging Kitchenaid side by side fridge and freezer. We love the look of this fridge and have been happy with the features and it's function so far. An exterior water and ice dispenser was a must for us. The water filter is easy to access and change. The compressor motor is pretty quiet and we don't even notice it running now that we are used to it. The main fridge compartment has tons of space! Glass shelves are sturdy and look good. Hooking up water was easy. COMPLAINTS: I had trouble getting the plastic grill at the bottom of the fridge to pop back on after adjusting the foot brakes, but that is a pretty minor complaint. I am disappointed though, that one of the horizontal handles fits loose and wiggles. I tried tightening it up multiple times and even swapped places with the freezer drawer handle, but I think the problem is the handle itself. I tightened it up as much as I could without damaging it and it still wiggles up and down. After living with this fridge for over a week now, we are happy with our decision. We did purchase the 3 year extended warranty for peace of mind, but I don't anticipate having any major problems with this fridge. This fridge is a good size for families of 3-6.

Owner for 6 weeks. Still don’t have ice/water hooked up so can’t review. Love the interior. Easy to find everything and organize . Was able to even slide in full size sheet pans for cooling dough as per recipe. I don’t know what I’d do without the drawer now. I use it for deli meats, cheese, pita, juices, fruit- easy to grab and go. Freezer is easy to find things in and wire drawer makes it easy to organize. Cons: fingerprints show everywhere on exterior. Constantly wiping down. The drawers require both doors to be opened in order to pull out. Motor seems to run constantly- it’s quiet but why does it run so much? Overall- it’s fine and so much nicer than my old side by side.

This refrigerator has been a nightmare. MOTOR IS SO LOUD! Oh my goodness, drives you nuts! The ice maker was producing plastic shavings into our crushed ice mugs. Brother-in-law first spit out a piece of white plastic. Had repair man out four times. After I choked on a long, corkscrew piece of plastic, I was informed to talk to the Whirlpool Company. They hooked me up with the safety issue’s personal department. Short story short, they decided to ship out replacement refrigerator. THIS WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR IS ALSO SO LOUD. Sounds like a lawnmower. When the motor kicks on it starts making the LOUD LAWNMOWER NOISE. You can hear the refrigerator throughout the house. We have a "big house". My brother-in-law said when the motor kicks on it is vibrating against more metal. Repairman can’t come out until the 14th. YIKES! NINE MORE DAYS OF LISTENING TO A LAWNMOWER IN OUR HOME. This is so totally unacceptable! We decided with the delicate situations with owning this AMERICAN WHIRLPOOL refrigerator, to take out an extra coverage policy paying $9.99 monthly. Now…who wants to buy a new kitchen appliance and have to pay an additional $9.99 a month just to have piece of mind. We are still under the one year warranty. Only had the first refrigerator six months. MY ADVICE ON THIS BEAUTIFUL REFRIGERATOR , "BUYER BEWARE". I would not have purchased this WHIRLPOOL AMERICAN MADE refrigerator if I would have know what a headache it was going to be.
