• I ordered this refrigerator in stainless steel finish two months ago. It was delivered last week after the dealer was waiting to receive from the manufacturer. Well worth the wait. I love it! It’s beautiful and it’s easy to see everything in the refrigerator and freezer. I did not want a refrigerator with a drink dispenser or ice maker. I love the sleek design and clean front. I have a galley style kitchen, so the smaller doors of the side by side influenced my decision. I also selected Whirlpool for the quality and ability to get service and repair if needed. I highly recommend this refrigerator.

• I bought this refrigerator because it was in stock and could be delivered soon. The delivery was a problem. The refrigerator has a sizable dent on the top of the freezer door, and the doors do not line up properly. There are also several knicks and dings in other places inside and out. Initially the repairman made it seem as though the issues were only cosmetic and could NOT be corrected. I bought a new refrigerator and that is what I expected. It's been over a month, and I have not heard anything from the repair service. I would recommend the product, but I'm not so sure about the delivery service.

• The new fridge was delivered and the plastic sheath pulled in front of my eyes - with scratches under the handles. The delivery person told me to clean with a wet paper towel. I tried and got smudges all over. I tried calling whirlpool, on hold for 54 minutes or so. I sent an email with pictures and no one responded to my query. I thought it was customary to get a cleaning kit - but nothing. What troubles me is that I chose to buy Whirlpool after having a Frigidaire fridge for 12 years as it was coming on all the time and now my brand new Whirlpool does the same. I am a disappointed customer after just a month.

• YOU CAN NEVER REACH THE COMPANY; I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF BUYING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. OUR FRIG HAS DAMAGES THAT ARE CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. THE FRIG IS WORKING BUT I HAVE TRIED TO REPORT PICTURES TO THEM SO THEY ARE AWARE OF IT; THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND THEIR CHAT DOES NOT RESPOND. I NEED A REPLACED FREEZER DOOR BIN THAT WAS BROKEN AND WHITE TOUCH UP PAINT FOR CABINET SCRATCHES. I GAVE THEM A 2ND CHANCE WITH THIS FRIG AS I HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING WITH A FRONT LOAD WASHER. IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND I COULD NOT REACH WHIRLPOOL FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM. I WILL REPORT THEM TO MY STATE'S CONSUMER AFFAIRS AS THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!!

• The refrigerator got delivered over a week ago and has not cooled below 44 degrees Fahrenheit since then. The freezer has done better, but still has not maintained 0 degrees. The finish of the doors is poor with scratches showing up as soon as it was unboxed, and worse when installed with door not even aligning properly closed. I have since requested a return of the product and am very disappointed in the quality of appliances today.

• There is a substantial gap between the gasket and the refrigerator that runs along the whole vertical side of the refrigerator door. I can feel the cool air escaping through the gap. I also don't feel that feeling of slight vacuum seal when opening the door because the door doesn't fully close. The freezer side works great with tight seal and that feeling of suction is fully present. I'm keeping the gap closed with masking tape in hopes that the door will "settle in" but I am not feeling good at the moment. Is it normal for brand new refrigerator to have gap between the gasket and the main body? This can't be normal right? Is there anything that can be done. Send help!

• So unhapy with this purchase! I have only had this refrigerator for 5 months. First, the icemaker did not work and had to be replaced. The shelves are flimsy, the crisper drawers are hard to pull out (they do not glide as they should). I have already had to replace parts: a crisper drawer, the shelf that holds the crisper drawer and one door bin that cracked. The other inner parts are flimsy and of poor quality. In addition to that, the Monochromatic Stainless finish looks awful-it is streaked, there are fingernail scratches from opening the door and it will not clean up. I believe there is something wrong with the finish. My newly remodeled kitchen looks great except for the streaked refrigerator. I asked Whirlpool for a replacement and they refused. I will be making additional appliance purchases in the next month or two as I am remodeling the kitchens for two other rental homes but I will not be buying Whirlpool appliances!

• I have had this refrigerator for about three weeks, received it 12/23/2021. It is working well so far. My Husband has already commented on how hard the ice cream is frozen. This refrigerator is a replacement for our Kenmoore (Amana) that we bought in 1999. My hope is that this one will last as long as that one did. I purposely bought this model because it has no ice maker or water in the door hoping to avoid any reason for things to go wrong. It has plenty of room in both the refrigerator and freezer. So much so that I wish they would have added a small cold cuts/cheese drawer like my previous frig had. My only dislike so far is that its shelves have limited adjust-ability. The shelves, there are three of them, slide into molded slots in the sides of the frig with only one extra slot. The refrigerator would be way more functional if they had installed the hook type shelves with multiple racks in the back allowing for more flexibility.

• It’s a -5 stars review. I bought this 3 months ago through the largest chain hardware store. It has a very loud noise from the fan and motor which I could hear it from upstairs. A tech came twice and was unable to fix it. A replacement was delivered last month, but the doors were not balanced and could not be closed properly. Called customer services and they just sent in the deliver guys, who said nothing could be done. Call customer services again, and a tech came yesterday and said the same words (and of course did nothing). Call customer services this morning and the lady did not allow me to return it, and insisted sending another tech to give a second opinion! I don’t know how long should I suffer from this junk! Never ever buy Whirlpool again!

• I bought this fridge a couple of months ago and I’m happy I did. I went with the model that didn’t have an ice maker so that we would have more freezer space. The freezer door has lots of spaces which I love because I can organize bags of veggies and there are several shelves. It would be nice if the shelves were adjustable but they seem wide enough it hasn’t been an issue. The fridge side is good sized. It has two large drawers. The shelf that’s over the top drawer seems unsure of itself, like it might come out if you pull too hard on the drawer. The fridge door also had plenty of storage.

• Owned 1 month so far. Nice cold fridge. Keeps food fresh longer than my old fridge, but it's missing some key features. Namely: * The glass shelves don't go all the way to the back, so things fall down the back occasionally. * It's on rollers and not feet/legs, so it rolls out whenever I open the door. We have an unsightly doorstop holding it in place. * Doesn't come with a door alarm! Seriously? I had to order after-market door alarms that are a nuisance, and don't tell you when the door is open; they tell you when the temperature rises outside a set range. So the fridge may be open for a good 20 minutes before the alarm is triggered. (Unless I set a tighter range--but then I was getting a lot of false positives). I thought I was buying a higher-end fridge at this price point, but apparently not. I'm disappointed in this purchase.

• Just bought this to replace our 25+ yo “backup” refrigerator in the garage so anything would be an improvement but this is really turning out to be much more than we thought we needed. And for the price we paid it’s such a great value! There’s much more space than our old one even though the make and design are very similar. The look is also very sleek and stylish; I almost feel guilty “parking” it in the garage! My only “complaint” is that I wish there was better lighting; or rather, placement of lighting in the freezer. It turns out that because of the extra room, we decided to fill it up and items block most of the light that’s there. All-in-all our family of 5 is very happy!

• I bought this a month ago and every time I touch the door my hands leave white scuffs and finger nails brushed on it leave white lines. There is no upper light in the freezer so the top shelf is dark. The manual shows 2 freezer lights. Ours only has 1. Door adjustment tool was missing from the packet when the fridge was delivered. We called Whirlpool Customer Service 2 times and after waiting for over 30 minutes each time with no answer we hung up.

• We needed to replace our refrigerator/freezer and did not need a water access feature (but this can be added), so we did our research and found Whirlpool products are rated very high. We bought the side-by-side unit and are so pleased, we also bought another Whirlpool Refrigerator/Freezer.

• Loud and the compressor makes a pulsating noise.Also doors are uneven (one handle higher than the other/also doors uneven ). Home Depot unable to level it due to lack of the leveling piece in box. Seems to cool well and is spacious. I have asked for a replacement. I would recommend listening to this on before you buy it for a home with an open floor plan.

• I bought this refrigerator back in Aprip 2024. The rubber around the freezer door didn't seal properly, the inside of the refrigerator was very dirty when it arrived. I bought stainless steel and the French doors are scratched up upon arrival. I live by myself and didn't realize how scratched up they were until I cleaned them with stainless cleaner.

• So I wanted a side by side but with out the water and ice maker. This is perfect. Mind you I was going from a freezer top 18.5 cu ft to this lovely side by side 25.1 cu ft. I wanted the max space and seeing that the ice and water maker takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 of the freezer I said no way. So I got this lovely model. I read reviews and did research. Some people said it was loud and noisy. But all it does is hum a little. It is quieter than ones I have been around. A lot quieter than a dishwasher and a dryer. Like the nice little hum from a AC unit through a wall and that’s only when it’s cooling down again. But back to the storage. Oh my OH MY I have so much room I love it. I’m in heaven. A family of four and a toddler that’s non stop. She loves it she is able to grab things from both the frig and freezer. Frozen go-gurt and yogurt cheese, her juice and so much more she feels she is on top of the world. Keep all this in mind when buying.

• Switching from a top refrigerator, bottom freezer, I was concerned whether I would like a side by side and like it better because of the smaller doors opening in a limited space. Love the lighting in both units & extremely quiet when running. I would prefer narrower and/or taller shelf compartments (tall bottles tend to tip unless space is used entirely). Do not like the bottom piece corners since they catch dust & are impossible to clean without removing entire bottom piece. Also sorry I did not get fingerprint free finish.

• My new stainless steel refrigerator was delivered about a month ago. The interior features and space are perfect for my family. I opted not to get a water and ice dispenser in the outside of door. And I am glad I did not. It has a nice clean look. My biggest problem is how do I clean the exterior doors. There is some residue left from when the plastic was removed from the doors. I went to Lowes where I purchased the refrigerator. They sold me some cleaner, I tried the cleaner in an inconspicuous spot. and it looked like it ileft a stain. So I have no used it to try to remove the problem spots.

• This refrigerator is identical to the same model with an ice maker on the door. The one with the ice maker has a snack drawer above the crisper drawers. The refrigerator we bought without the ice maker does not have a snack drawer, leaving a 14 inch space between the third shelf and the crisper. There isn't even a simple glass shelf. We had to make three trips back to the appliance store to find out if the snack drawer that is in the refrigerator with an ice maker would fit in the model we bought. We had to order the snack drawer and pay an additional $132.00. The snack drawer should be included with the model we purchased. We are very disappointed that such a simple, basic feature was not in it. .

• We purchases this refrigerator about two months ago, after our previous refrigerator die on us quietly. We are the process of changing all appliances in our kitchen to stainless steel. The frig is larger and it’s nice looking.

• Ought this fridge and it works well. Poor design in that there are no leveling pads which will prevent the fridge from moving forward when opening the door. I leveled it with the leveling screw which raises the wheels/caster, but again, no lock on the casters and no leveling pads to keep it in place. I have to use rubber door stoppers. Ground and fridge are both level. Had an authorized Whirlpool mechanic look at it and he agreed on it being a pot design.

• I brought the refrigerator on August 1, so far. We had numerous issues, 1) The refrig. over heat on the side and the middle wall that divide between the frig and frozen section. I open up the back panel and found a large black double sided foam tape was left inside that stop the blower from moving. See picture 1. The frig works fine. 2) Loud rattle noise when the compressor is on. I had to open up the back panel the second time and discover the source of the noise was from one of the copper pipe was too close to the frame of the frig and make the noise. By moving the a copper insulation foam to from location in picture 1 to location in picture 2 to stop the noise. 3) The top light in the frig side, is very annoying. When, frig door open the light is right in your face. The light can't be block, because if block the firg can be too dark inside.
