  • We bought the 4.3 Cu. Ft. Single Self-Cleaning Wall Oven a month ago. I was hesitant to buy because of lousy reviews on tis oven. I'm glad we bought it. We have a new SS refrigerator and they look spectacular side by side. I'll address several issues that I read in previous reviews.... Changing oven temperature: It's easy to change the temperature by entering in the new temp and pressing start. When you first enter the temp, you will need to press bake or broil, but changing required just entering the temps. The oven is bright and large for a 27 inch wall oven. Keep in mind, a 27 inch wall oven is still a relatively small oven. I have had no issue with my oven locking with food cooking inside. The oven window is large and clear when lit. I'm very happy with this oven. The handle is sleek and low profile. Our oven is right next to the 19.3 cu. foot fridge and they both look spectacular together!

  • I bought this oven about a month ago to replace a 28-year-old Whirlpool wall oven. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It is very quiet compared to my old unit. I've had to check to be sure I've actually turned it on. I have baked with it, but haven't used the broiler yet. Having two different preheat settings (one rack or two rack) seems strange to me. And after using an older oven for so long, I'm having to readjust some of my baking times. Go for the shortest time quoted; it's easier to add a couple of minutes.

  • I absolutely HATE this oven. Bought it January of 2024 when my GE from 2006 died and the cost to fix was more than a new oven. This one was the right size, matched my Whirlpool refrigerator, which I love, and reading the reviews lead me to believe it was a good replacement.....it's not! Horrible uneven cooking temps, cannot bake cakes or cookies on multiple racks without burning one batch and under cooking the other. If I could afford to, I'd tear this out of my wall today.

  • I have been very loyal to whirlpool over my life never asked for help or needed it when I purchased this wall oven in contact with Whirlpool on numerous occasions for info for installation I came across a brick wall and the previous oven which just needed glass was no longer available if you had been discontinued in January of 23 I am very disappointed in how poor Whirlpool service has deteriorated

    Daniel09/30/2023 12:11 AM

  • We love our new wall oven, the interior is a lot bigger than our old one, we can put two cookie sheets at the same time and we love the large window.

    Dexter08/21/2024 05:49 AM

  • I am really disappointed with my purchase. During the first use, the door locked and it gave me an error code. We let the oven cool down and it seemed to re-set, so thought maybe it was a fluke. In subsequent uses, the door has locked randomly and the oven has gone off and on. It's maddening! I couldn't get help from Whirlpool with getting a technician out before Thanksgiving and am still waiting on a service call. This is not the experience I wanted with a new oven!

    JB202311/30/2023 10:25 AM

  • I bought this oven on Oct 25 and it was installed on Oct 27. The very first time that the heat was applied it displayed a F8EO FAN SPEED TOO LOW error code which put the oven in a non-operational state. The installation technician called Whirlpool and after speaking with four people, the Whirlpool representative arranged for service on Nov 2 with Advanced Appliance Service (AAS). Thirty minutes later, AAS called and said they could not service until Nov 7. AAS showed up on Nov 7 and said the FAN would need to be replaced. He ordered the FAN and said it would take a week to get to AAS and then they would reschedule another appointment to install the FAN. I am absolutely flabbergasted that AAS did not bring the FAN on Nov 7. So here I am with my new Whirlpool Wall Oven that didn't work out of the box and still is not working 14 days later. Thanksgiving is 13 days away and we are praying for a working oven to cook our holiday meal with our family. I couldn't be more disappointed with a product or the product manufacturer's Customer Support than I am with Whirlpool. The irony is that we replaced our very old GE Wall Oven that still worked with the brand new Whirlpool Wall Oven that doesn't work.

  • I like that I was able to get a 27” built in oven. The oven works great except for one issue. Every time I use temperature above 400 degrees the oven locks up consequently unable to retrieve food. I had a technician come out and he informed me that I would have to choose self clean and start cleaning and then cancel self clean the door will open. I find this very annoying for a $1700.00 oven purchased a month ago.

    Aunt B04/29/2024 01:53 AM

  • It takes a long time to heat up. I have to add 10-15 minutes to the cooking time or raise the temperature 25 degrees to get it to cook anything. Once the temp. is set, you can't raise or lower the temperature without starting the whole process over again. I just wanted an oven knobs for fine control. Another problem is I can't turn off the air fry feature.

  • My oven is only two months old. The lock on the oven went bad and it locked and healed my Christmas dinner hostage someone came out to look at it and couldn’t fix it. I now have a pipe cleaner to pull on open my oven door. I find this totally unacceptable of an only two months old part is on order. It’s been over a week in the word.

    Angie01/03/2024 09:52 PM

  • This wall oven makes frequent and numerous popping sounds when in use. The sounds are coming from the oven door as a result of heating expansion. This is very disappointing because the oven that this replaced (another brand) never made one single noise in the 32 years it was in use.

    da4413309/26/2023 05:21 AM

  • I bought oven several months ago been having problems with air escaping from bottom. But lady time used after over turned off the fax wouldn’t stop running. Had to turn off on breaker. Haven’t used over since. Plus haven’t been able to get hold of anyone to come and check it out.

    Vince11/01/2025 02:47 PM

  • We received this wall oven several weeks ago and waited 3 months for it to arrive. Tried multiple times to call for a tall shield as per instructions, even left a phone number. Never received a call back or the part, poor PR on your part.

    Chuck10/14/2025 11:51 AM

  • I am very happy with my new wall oven! It's surprisingly larger than my old one, though fitting in the same space. It's easy to operate, cooks evenly with no burning or crusting of foods.

    Gibby05/03/2025 08:10 AM

  • We replaced our old 24” wall oven with this Whirlpool 27” electric unit, and so far, we love it! So much more room for full size pans and cookie sheets, and a great touch screen menu!

    Bwesty6110/03/2023 03:14 AM

  • I just had my new oven installed. I have baked rolls, hotdish and cookies. It works very well. I was a replacement for an older one and it fit in the opening without much trouble.

  • The Whirlpool wall oven added a nice, sleek look to my kitchen. It is easy to setup and operate. I love it!

    bec1n812/26/2023 05:01 PM

  • Easy to use, really like the touch pad controls. Bakes well, keeping a constant temperature.
