• New dryer sound like a loud heart beat(Boom, Boom.....Boom, Boom etc.) on Dec. 4 when it was delivered. Can't swap for a new one cause it's not returnable. Ken Appliances was sent (by Whirlpool warranty)to repair dryer. Drum and decal was ordered. A different tech came to finished the job. After he left I notice the lower panel was hanging on one side. Reported the issue to Whirlpool, they referred me to Ken Appliances and sending me right back to Whirlpool. To dodge the finger pointing, I bought the part myself (Which I Should'nt have) cause I wanted my dryer like new again. If I was able to swap dryers, then I would not have seen this machine being dismantle 2 times and end up having to replace a part that I shouldn't. BAD EXPERIENCE. I FEEL LIKE THEY'RE BLAMING ME!! AT THE END OF THE DAY I LOST OUT AND I WISH NO ONE WOULD EXPERIENCE WHAT I EXPERIENCE CAUSE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE WILL GO THROUGH THE ROOF!!! All I wanted was something nice in my house.

• I cannot use the auto sensing feature because the clothes are still slightly damp, I have to use the timed dry setting to get them dry. There are also paint bubbles and dirt in the paint on the top of the dryer. The piece for the bottom of the dryer (that covers the leveling legs) does not match the paint color of the dryer. I previously had a Cabrio and loved it. I am definitely disappointed with this dryer.

• I highly recommend this dryer. Whirlpool took over Maytag & this dryer reminds me of my Maytag that lasted over 20 years & is still working in our old home. The color is beautiful & always looks clean. The drawer opens like a stove door, which I like much better than a side swinging door. The lint screen is inside the machine & not on top of the machine. The dryer is equivalent in size as the matching washer I purchased. You can pair both to smart phone & has a lot of great features, too many to list here. It has auto sensing, so no matter what settings you pick, it turns off when dry. You can dry a comforter comfortably in this dryer. The pair look very nice together. I am very happy with the purchase of both.

• I purchased this dryer approximately 2 to 3 weeks ago. So far it works perfectly. Except, I did put two pillows in the dryer and it took three attempts before the pillow was dry. it is awful supposed to be able to connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I have not been able to get the washer or the dryer to connect to the app. The aesthetics and the functionality our second to none the dryer door opening is the best.

• The machine keeps telling constantly need to clean the filter but the space for the filter is really tin that you can clean good, the machine has tiny tiny space you are not able with your hands to clean good, is just frustrating trying to clean that filter I tried with different things but still not work very well.

• With every use of the Whirlpool dryer 7.4 cu. Ft. Top Load Electric Dryer, the silver bar lint sensor, as shown in the attach photo, pops out. Yes, I clean the lint trap after every use. And, it continues to pop out. So, yes I have to manually put it back, after every use.

• So far we are very pleased with this dryer. I love how easy it is to control your settings exactly how you like it, and using the phone app *sort of* makes laundry more fun! The only thing so far I wish is different about the dryer is it would be nice if the door opened side ways (like a car door) rather than down. It just seems to be in the way.

• The biggest issue I have is the lent trap. I don’t know if the installers did something wrong or not, but I cannot believe how much lent doesn’t get stuck in the trap. There is no reason why a dryer with two months worth of use, be that backed up from lent.

• We bought this dryer a month ago and love it, lots of room and works great! It senses the clothes to how long it takes to dry them. It has a tinted glass door and light inside when you open it.

• I love the quality. It works so well and the settings are not just for looks they actually work as designed. I love the connection to the app bc sometimes life is busy n you forget to start it or you forget to switch it over. The only part I don’t like is the direction the door opens it’s not functional to have the door open at the bottom and I feel like I’ll end up breaking it with use. I wish there were an option to swap it for a door that opens horizontal.

• Had the same version dryer for 12 years. It still worked. Just bought the updated version because it was time for a upgrade. Gave the old one to a family member and they love it. This new one has the Bluetooth capabilities which I love and use religiously. Just can’t beat the reliability and functionality of a Whirlpool. It holds the biggest King comforter we have and dries it with no problems. The new dry sensing feature cuts drying time done to a minimum and saves a lot of electricity and conserves the life of the dryer. Couldn’t be happier with this machine

• The only thing I don’t like is the dryer is installed to close to the left wall due to shortness of the venting . It should be longer to move it closer to the washer. The connection is fine it is the letting of the venting material is to short.

• We purchased this unit 2 years ago tor replace another Whirlpool electric dryer that became problematic and would cost too much to repair. This newer unit has always generated the clean the vent line messages even when the vents are clean. The drum makes a rumbling sound when it starts to rotate and eventually quiets down. Now the unit is stopping mid-cycle and the cabinet feels hot to the touch. I expected better reliability from Whirlpool and we've been disappointed with the last two dryers that we purchased. If I can't get this unit to run reliably I'll punt on Whirlpool and shop a different brand.

• I purchased the 2 in 1 top loader and dryer combination and they are both junk. The washer does not work well as it hardly gets the clothes wet. The agitator spins in both directions with the impeller rather than ratcheting in only on direction like older conventional top loaders. The has the clothes moving up and down rather than circulating down to the bottom of the washer. The dryer leaves clothes damp even when set on high heat and the driest setting. Both machines are loud when running and within the first two weeks both machines had to be unplugged to reset them as the controls locked up. We are sick over this purchase $2000).

• Bought this approximately a month ago. The error code comes on during every load, clean lint screen. We have cleaned it and the exhaust pipe. Have had technician out to tell us it must be something in exhaust. Never had issues with previous dryer. Going to the expense of having the exhaust pipe cleaned again. Not sure how sensitive this is. But very annoying and praying the cost of having exhaust pipe cleaned again fixes issue.

• I bought this earlier this month as an “open box” item at a big box store. It replaces a drier that quit 9 months ago, which required my household to revert to clothesline drying in the interim, which we embraced at the time to take advantage of the spring/ summer warmth. Now that colder weather is upon us, the clothesline concept is no longer embraceable. The drier has met most expectations. The weak points: (1) the laundry room adjoins the garage, and for some reason the drier will not pair up via cell phone and App for drying cycle monitoring, and (2) the automatic drying sensors stop the drying cycle too soon when drying mixed clothing items of differing fabric weights, for example blue jeans dried along side cotton shirts. These are minor annoyances and they will probably be resolved with a little effort which I’ll be sure and write about if it happens.

• Dryer seems to be leaking at times, says vent needs to be cleaned (we just had it cleaned by a professional service licensed and insured) so not the issue, not drying clothes well, and an internal bolt located in the dryer drum is wrecking all of our towels and clothes, including new ones because it sticks out. Not sure if this is a bad lemon and needs replacement with new as we just received it not long ago

• My dryer of 20 years, yes 20, took the kick. I did my research and went to my local Menards where I purchased the set of both dryer and washer. I am in love with the size of the drum. I used to have to take some things to the laundry mat cause my old one was tiny compared to this dryer. The app is so handy, I can start and stop (on top of many things) best purchase of 2025

• Bought this product after three deliveries of your sister company Maytag were damaged in delivery or suffered from a manufacture defect. I switched completely to a Whirlpool washer and dryers and sent the Maytag's back. The delivery of the Whirlpool dryer was scratched and damaged by the delivery people. I accepted it because I had laundry piling up.

• If I could rate it a 0, I would. From the day we got it last week, it hasn't worked. It makes a horrible noise as if it's dying on any heat mode above medium. (It's too loud, we can't hear ourselves think.) When we called your service desk, the only option was for you to send someone out in two weeks to repair it. If I had wanted a refurbished dryer, I could have just bought one and saved myself a lot of money. Instead, we bought a new dryer and that's what we expected -- not a broken one that had to be repaired from Day 1. Fortunately, the store where we bought it from is replacing it with a new one, no thanks to Whirlpool. However, we're having to wait a week and a half for it to come.
