• I bought this appliance package approximately one month ago.. The thing that sold me on this set was a removable agitator... So far I have loved this set... The only issue I have had is that the clean vent pops up every time I use the dryer... I had a professional come in and clean my dryer bent and I clean the lint filter daily so not sure what the issue is... But other than that my clothes come out clean... If it continues to happen I will call to have a Tech come out.. I would have given this review 5 stars if the check filter didn't come on continuously

• I've had this dryer for two weeks. I really like the versatility and options available to the user. However, hours after it was installed, I placed a large bottle of detergent on top of it to fill the Easy-fill reservoir of the matching washer. I turned the bottle as it sat on top of the dryer to pick it up and the bottle left scratches on the finish, very visible to the eye. I cannot believe that's all it took to damage the surface. Four days later, my husband leaned on it to reach something above it and his hand dented it!! I'm so disappointed. My brand new dryer looks terrible and I can't image how this will stand up over time. I'm considering returning it for that reason. I expect an appliance of this price to be better than that, inside and out. I recommend it for the drying features but buyer beware of the finish.

• Our washing machine was approximately 6 months old when we started getting error readings on our machine. Since then the manufacturer has sent a service company 4 times and they have replaced faulty parts which ended up flooding our garage. We are still in the process of getting it fixed however we have been left without a washing machine for almost a month. We are a family of 5 of children in high school who play sports so needless to say this has caused a major inconvenience in our household. We have spoken to whirlpool several times and they haven't been able to help us. They just send a technician who replaces parts but when he leaves there are still issues. In my opinion a washing machine should last longer than 6 months before needing service.

• Wonderful capacity and quiet operation. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is possibly an important reason, but might also be something most sensor drying modes struggle with. When using the sensor mode, the dryer may sometimes not dry the clothes entirely before sensing they are complete. This leaves about 15 to 20 minutes that you need to run it to close out the load. If you need to wear or use something and are running late, this could become problematic, but being mindful and not using this setting in those moments would be the work around. This tends to happen on larger loads.

• Generally speaking, we like it. The auto sensing feature, however, doesn’t work. Clothes are still wet or damp when the auto cycle completes. Not sure how that happens but it’s a huge design flaw. We end up using the Timed Dry cycle and manually select the temperature for all loads. Otherwise, we waste time and energy redrying the loads used with Auto Sense. In speaking to others who have other makes/models with an auto sense feature, they cite the same issue, so we just gave up researching. All of these new, high-tech features in newer machines don’t seem to perform as consistently as basic models. The problem is, you can’t get the basic models with the larger capacity. Ugh.

• It was tough to give up my old "work horse" Whirpool steam duet dryer in sea foam green, but once I received this new Whirlpool dryer, I was thrilled! It has all of the original great features and dependability of my old dryer with many new, helpful options to keep my clothes looking their best. I love the wrinkle guard feature with steam and the ability to adjust drying times and temperatures as needed. I love Whirlpool.......their appliances have always worked well for me, and many of the technicians provide service comment that I made a good choice with regard to durability and overall performance.

• Recently purchased nearly a month ago to replace my previous Whirlpool gas dryer in order to match the new Whirlpool washer I purchased around Memorial Day. Love the color (Chrome Shadow), the controls are very easy to navigate, it's quiet, I don't really need the Bluetooth feature but will try it out, and I am overall very pleased as I have always been with any Whirlpool appliance - I have nothing but Whirlpool in my house!

• Dryer appears to be working fine. Granted it's only 1 month old. The dryer rack I had to get by registering online then had to call cause registration did not work right online on and on. Once we finally got the rack in the mail it was in a box with no packaging and it came broken. Not a good look for a dryer I paid over $1000 for. I 3mailed customer support to get a non broken rack and no one ever responded. I expect better from an American company. Regarding recommending the product it's just too soon to tell if it will last. For now no. Improve your customer experience Whirlpool. You can do it!!

• I bought this a week ago and so far it’s been working very well after the stressful setup. At first the machine won’t power on, I tried pushing several buttons to no avail. I should have let the installers power it on before they left but they were just in a hurry to leave. I called customer support and they scheduled a technician for the following day. My husband tried to restart it again after an hour but still didn’t work. Then he unplugged it for an hour and that trick worked. So far it has been working well, just a little noisy.

• I haven’t set up the app yet just been using the dryer manually and man is it great. Has so many settings I was worried could do it at first. I’ve had the dryer about a month now and I am a pro, LOL. Next is to download and start using the app. My laundry room has limited room and this set was perfect.

• We recently purchased the matching washer & dryer set from a Lowe’s department store in September 2022 and are very pleased with our choices! Not only do they both work great, but they look great in our laundry room. They cost a little more than what we set out to spend, but so far it was worth it.

• The drying rack comes free with the purchase of the dryer. I registered my purchase and request for the rack. At first , the request was recognized. But next day, I got an e-mail notifying me that the order was partially cancelled. So far I have no way to contact the manufacturer regarding this matter. As for the product itself, it seems to work ok. Time will tell. The Maytag dryer I purchased 44 years ago is still working fine The reason I changed is because the matching washer is leaking water.

• Great dryer so far. Bought as matching pair for washer that needed to be replaced. Very pleased with all the options especially the steam refresh. That works great on removing wrinkles. Very customizable. negative is that there isn't a very low temp setting.

• Looks bra but doesn’t dry well, even small loads. Don’t have time to send it back. Ugh! I ordered a vent hose, it’s metal therefore less flexible and the dryer sticks out 4 extra inches making my walkway even more narrow than it already is.

• The only way to get fully dried clothes is to use the “timed dry” cycle. If you don’t bypass the drying sensors the clothes come out damp or wet no matter what dryness you have selected. The machine is less than a month old. Contacted Whirlpool, they sent out an authorized representative, who failed to do anything. Said if you want dry cloths use the trimmed cycle. Still waiting for a follow up from the service center or Whirlpool, nothing yet and it’s been over a week. Not very happy.

• So far, the gas dryer is drying very well. Other members of family are not use to all the buttons, just a little complicated. They are not sure about the dryer.

• The dryer is good. However, since it's all new, it has taken a "Learning Curve" to understand and master the "gadgets" on the control panel. My previous dryer had ONE control dial. I could set it for about 40 minutes at one of the heat settings, and the clothes would come out nice and dry. We bought it about 35-40 years ago from Sears, and only had the repair man out ONE time because the belt broke. NOT BAD, HUH? I can only hope that this one will do the same.
