Problems: I have had this now for 2 weeks. When it was delivered the left door with the icemaker in it was lower and not aligned with the other door. My husband and I took the door off and added a washer to align the door. Prior to that the door would not stay open and even after alignment and adding the washer it still does not stay open making it difficult to get things in/out. I called the repair tech from where I bought it and he took the door off and found the water lines that were going into the door were causing the door not to stay open. Design Flaw. I am still waiting for a response back to see how this can be fixed. Pluses: I like the middle and bottom drawers, makes it easier to get to things you need, you just need to remember where you put everything.

I bought this model in December 2025 and today, April 21, 2026 it has stopped working suddenly. We did the usual check the power, check the breaker, unplug for 10 minutes and plug back in, tested the power outlet and it has power- other appliances worked. It was working in the morning and it’s dead when I got home from work, so disappointed with this refrigerator.

After weeks of looking at different brands, I decided on the Whirlpool because of the reliability of the brand. Unfortunately, I must give the same review as above because I have the same issue. The left door with the ice maker is shorter than the other door and it won't stay open. Is this a flaw in the way it is made?

This 3736 was delivered to our home on Jan 22. Installed and plugged in. After three days, I noticed the freezer was not getting to zero degrees. Freezer items were not frozen. Also no ice was being produced. The freezer temp was 26 degrees not zero. Refrigerator was showing 44 degrees not 36 as set. Called the warranty department and they suggested unplugging the fridge for a minute and plug back in to do a reset. That worked but for only three days. Freezer went back to a wamer temperature as did the upper compartment. A Whirlpool tech came out to a week later and did some diagnostics and temperatures were back to normal. He told me to put some bottled waters in the freezer so that it wasn't empty. I did this but three days later...some bottles were frozen and others were not. Tech came out again put sensors in each fridge compartment. Readings on the sensors five days later showed the temperature had improved toward normal but still showing signs of inconsistencies.. Another call was made to Whirlpool....now they are shipping out a new controller to see if that will fix the problem. I am being patient but if a new controller doesn't fix things so I don't have to live a life of refrigerator maintenance for the next 10-15 years, I am going to request a replacement refrigerator. This one may just be a lemon....but if a new one has the same problems...I'll be back on the internet warning the rest of the world to stay away from this product.
