• Before this KitchenAid product I was a complete newbie to the induction cooktop market. For starters I was browsing products but could really never find great photos of the electrical wiring and the backside of the unit. Being a DIY guy I always find it useful to see these types of photos prior to purchase/install, hence why they are attached to my review. This 36 inch model measures 36.25 inches wide and 21.25 inches tall. The hardwired electrical whip is roughly 3 feet long. So far using this cooktop has been amazing! I like the mirrored finish look for our kitchen. Also an amazing feature of these induction cooktops is that they cool off very fast and are easy to clean/wipe down. I did have to buy a few more pans to use on this cooktop since induction only works with pans that have a magnetic bottom. Overall very excited for this new product as it is a great enhancement for our kitchen and home!

• This kitchen Aid cooktop is very elegant and luxurious. This cooktop adds an elegant touch to my kitchen and it has a sleek design. The cooking performance is great and wood quality. It is easy to clean and it has a mirror like texture. It is easy to install and the installation instructions is. Try easy and require simple equipment. This cooktop has high safety features and it is easy to control the temperature. It has a good variety of options and features. I really liked the simmer option and the cook induction temperature control. It is energy efficient and it saves energy very well. I highly recommend it and I definitely recommend kitchen Aid appliances quality.

• I have received this cooktop in exchange for my honest review. I’ve really enjoyed using this cooktop overall and would give it a solid 4 out of 5. It heats up incredibly fast, which makes cooking much more efficient, and the surface is sleek and easy to clean. That being said, there are a couple of drawbacks. The touch buttons aren’t always as responsive as I’d like, especially if water boils over or if the surface is even slightly wet. The burner layout also feels a bit cramped, so using multiple large pans at once can be a challenge. One other thing I noticed is that it makes a low humming or buzzing sound when heating, which I’ve read is normal for induction but still takes some getting used to. It is very easy to clean especially with no knobs sticking out. Despite those issues, the performance and speed of cooking are excellent, and it has definitely upgraded my kitchen.

• Installation for me was very easy as I am in construction. This was a major upgrade from my old electric coil range top. Still getting used to the cooking on it as it heats up almost instantly. Learning that we need to prep most items ahead of time instead of prepping the old ways of doing it during cooking process. So far cleaning has been quick and easy.

• Kitchen aid electric cook top looks amazing. Best thing ever and very clean and shiny and it just looks great. I’m very happy with this product and the thing I like the most was that it’s touch screen and it’s not that heavy when installing. I get to save on my bill since I have solar panels so I don’t have to use gas for it. I highly recommend it 100%

• Absolutely love cooking on this cooktop. I grew up learning to cook on an old school electric stove and this is worlds of difference. I’ve been in love with gas ranges but we decided to try an induction cooktop. The burners heat up so quickly and cook evenly. I love that it also doesn’t heat up my whole kitchen like a gas ranges does. Makes cooking in the summer months less miserable inside. This was also so amazingly easy to clean, I couldn’t believe it. I would spend so much time scrubbing my gas cooktop and being grossed out. Honestly, this was an eye opening product for me.

• Bought as a replacement for a combination 2 gas burner, 2 induction burner Wolf cooktop. This unit is definitely an aesthetic upgrade, much cleaner look, and we have more usable cooktop space than before, but we do miss some of the features of the Wolf induction cooktop. The all-black shiny cooktop definitely shows fingerprints, streaks, and dust much more than the Wolf cooktop did and the digital controls were a little better on the Wolf. But on-balance this works better for us. Minor complaint is that the directions for connecting to wifi are not working - but only really interested in that to see what might be the advantage of connecting your cooktop to wifi. Otherwise the kitchen looks much better with these appliances and the cooktop replacement was a huge improvement. Purchased a part of a complete kitchen upgrade including Dishwasher KDTS324SPS, Refrigerator KRSC536RPS, Microwave KMBS730SPS, Wall Oven KOES530SPS, and Warming Drawer Warming Drawer. Great sale price at Lowe's included installation and 2 year warranty which made this a much better choice than the GE profile replacements we compared to.

• I’m really impressed and I t’s so comfortable and easy to use, even for everyday cooking. The 5 cooking zones give plenty of space, so I can cook multiple dishes at the same time without feeling crowded. It heats quickly and feels very precise, which makes cooking smoother and more enjoyable. The sleek design also looks beautiful in the kitchen and is easy to clean. • Getting ready to redo my kitchen and will be installing this cook top on my island, very well made and slick. Not a lot of pieces you need to assemble, just cut your counter top to the correct size drop it in and wire in the electrical which is simple. The back side is in closed in a housing so you will not have any loose wires or hazard areas. I’m really excited to get this installed because it will look fabulous in the kitchen.

• We absolutely love this KitchenAid 30 Induction Cooktop. The size is perfect for our kitchen and we are glad we replaced our old one . The five cooking zones make everyday cooking much easier, especially when using different pan sizes are the same time . The surface is very easy to clean and only needs a quick wipe , which is a big plus for daily use . The company installed the cooktop, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The cooktop heats quickly and evenly, and the temperature control feels very precise, which helps a lot when cooking different types of meals. We are also enjoying learning all of the smart features, including voice control and the cooking presets . There is definitely more to explore, and it makes cooking feel modern and intuitive. We already have a KitchenAid dishwasher, so this cooktop fits beautifully into our kitchen. Overall, we are very happy with it and excited to keep using it .

• I recently upgraded to this induction cooktop because I was worried about the indoor air quality from my old gas stove and the lack of external venting. I was a bit hesitant to switch, but this KitchenAid induction cooktop is incredible. The technology and function feel like magic. It boils water very fast and feels much safer, both for air quality and burn risks. With kids in the house, making sure they're not breathing in combustion fumes and having the area near the burners stay cool to the touch are both major benefits. The cooktop itself is a good size and has five different cooking zones, including one combination zone, which provides a lot of flexibility for larger meals. It has a number of smart settings (Temp Cook, Simmer, Smart Boil, Saute) that allow for more precise control and even heating, although there is a bit of a leaving curve. It looks great and is easy to wipe clean. I'm extremely happy that we made the switch to induction - it feels like a better way to cook.

• Such an upgrade! Replaced my old cooktop with knobs for burners. This is touch from the top. So much safer than before. No more accidental burners are being turned on. Can also control from the app on phone. Was easy for my husband to hook up 240v. Incredibly beautiful with the counter tops.

• This cooktop is overall very good and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cooktop. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great in any kitchen. I'm currently remodeling my kitchen and am excited that I don't have to worry about it matching the walls, countertop, or other appliances. It has a powerful performance, especially with the “Power Boost” mode. I found that it heats my pans quickly and boils my water quickly and in under 10 minutes. It also has convenient simmer and melt settings for delicate cooking. For cleanup, it is very easy to clean; the surface wipes down quickly and easily and it does not leave smear marks. I also like that it has minimal heat transfer outside the induction zone — the cooktop stays cool to the touch except directly under the cookware. The safety features were also nice. It only produces heat when an induction-compatible pan or pot is detected, which adds an extra layer of safety, and it has an auto shut-off feature after no use to prevent accidents. The cooktop’s ability to rapidly boil water is impressive, and the control settings are intuitive. • So...there is a bit of a learning curve for cooktop. It's unique and modern, but certainly not what I was used to, and I ended up watching a few videos to understand how to use it and control the temperature. Once I have gotten familiar with the process, it's smooth and easy. I don't like cooking with open flame so induction cooktop has always been my go to. It heats up quickly and the heat is distributed evenly. I love the fact that there are different cooking zones and sizes for different pots and pans. I can imagine how confused my mother would be when she visits and tries to cook for me but for now, I'm enjoying this product.

• OK, I absolutely love this at first. I was hesitant because it was all touch screen which made me scared and it was a glass top so I was worried about keeping it clean and fingerprints. But we are having so much fun in the kitchen. My son is my little helper and we have made so many memories. Thanks for this new kitchen top easy to use easy to clean. I would recommend for everyone.

• I had been looking to upgrade my cooktop and this one is just what I needed . The size is just right for my need . It is easy to maintain and clean , safe to use even with young kids and well built . • Let me start by saying I was originally very hesitant to get an induction cooktop. I grew up with an electric stove and it took forever to get things done. Boiling water would take 15 to 20 minutes regularly and then I switched to gas for many years, and so when I was redoing my kitchen, I didn’t want to go back to a situation where I would be taking extra long to get tasks done. However, this induction cooktop blew me away. It has many different options and many different modes to get my cooking done faster and more efficiently. My favorite thing about this is that there is an app that I can use to control my temps so I could easily Get things done. I love that it has a quick boil mode and I feel like everything just gets done faster. I love that. I have different cook. Options for common made foods such as pancakes, pasta, and sautéing. I use my favorite cast-iron on this cooktop all the time And I feel like it doesn’t scratch my cooktop or my cast-iron unlike my gas stove did with the bottom of my cast-iron. Because it is smooth it is very easy to clean. There’s no need to take off grates and scrub them for significant periods of time. I just spray and wipe which is convenient quick and easy. I’ve always known KitchenAid for the mixers as I am an avid baker, but this has really blown me away and has made me appreciate KitchenAid as a brand so much more. I’m very deeply impressed.

My old electric fooktop was over 20 years old and it was just an old reliable but definitely losing functionality and fresh design. This new 30" induction cooktop is magical. The amount of new functions and flexibility is impressive. Firstly, the modern black glass design is beautiful. My boring kitchen literally jumped into the 21st century. I love the Temp Cook™ Induction Technology on 3 out of 5 modes, which maintains the specific temperature set for precision beyond high, medium, and low settings. Temp Cook™ Smart Presets help me sear a steak, simmer soups, quickly boil water for tea, and saute dinner veggies. The squared shape Even-Heat™ Zone adds versatility to cook with large pans like griddles or two pans at once. I downloaded the KitchenAid app for more control and added setting assistance. I can't tell you how quickly my food comes together...the induction technology boils eggs in such a short time, and everything just comes together smoother. The cleaning is a breeze...just wipe and i never had baked on spots to scrub. Additionally,... safety feature shows when the surface is HOT. I am actually excited to cook more for my family and experiment with new recipes. My shout out to the installation team who hauled away my old top and expertly put the new one in. It did take us time to get started only because the touch controls are unique. PLUS, some of my pots and pans were not compatible with such new induction methods. So fyi.... make sure your pots and pans are enameled steel, cast iron, or stainless steel for induction cooktops.

• I’ve had kitchenaid appliances for over 20 years. I’m not at all happy with my new cooktop, double oven or dishwasher. $10,000 worth of appliances I’m stuck with. Couldn’t even get shiny black. Had to pay extra for black stainless which is really grey. And all these touch controls are just an excuse for too many fingerprints. Bring back knobs on the right bottom corner. The cooktop layout of burners and controls is a disaster. With the controls placed in the center, it makes the pots too far of a reach to stir. Boiling water in one pot is too close to stir the pot next to it without getting burned by steam.
