• Bought a house a month ago and this was builder’s choice . I had a glass cook too in my previous home did not like the way it wore. Glass stained on my new top boiling potatoes for Thanksgiving mash potatoes. Hard to clean

• My old cooktop had a few burners not working and repair parts are so high, just better to get new. My old unit was a Whirlpool so the size is the same, so fits right into countertop. That was my primary concern getting a new appliance. And installation was very easy, did myself. The unit is very nice, so far very happy.

• I bought this cooktop at Best Buy because I love Whirlpool products. Ever since I have bought this thing I have burned 10 percent of my food. I have been cooking for 55 years and have had glass top ranges for the past 15 years. This one does not have even heat and it flares up and down constantly. I cook rice like I have for all of these years and it burns it every time. You can only turn a stove down so low before it's off!! I wish I had never bought it.

• The cooktop looks beautiful. Loved the dual element option for cooking. Rated four stars because we just had the electric cooktop for less than a month of usages.

• This cooktop is great. The only problem I have is the cutout dimensions on the english side were incorrect, causing out installers to remove the 10 foot long piece of quartz and cut 2 inches more out of each end. I say the english side because they said the spanish measurements were correct...

• I wish I had researched the cook top more before purchase. It is very difficult to keep clean and apparently is very easy to destroy with scratches and breakage. UGH! However, the heating elements do appear to heat evenly, when used.

• Touch control cooktop was recalled and had to be replaced with knob controls. Whirlpool was great as far as making things right. If you have one replaced make sure you have someone home all day, our installers showed up 3 hours early.

• I like that the heating elements are very conspicuous, and the "hot surface" indicator protect me from burning myself, and remind me to move my pots and pans from the stove.

• We bought this stove top, but didn't get to take it out of the box. When they measured for granite, we were told that a 36" wouldn't work even though we had a 36" stove before granite. We had to purchase a 30". Whirlpool was great to work with to exchange cooktops.

• Purchased on 10/5/2023 to replace the gold series 36 inch that was not working properly after 5 years of use. This unit distribute heat more effectively and heat water a lot faster than the model I had to replace it with. However, I find that it requires more work to clean than the gold series model. Mainly because of the striated surface of the non-burner parts of the unit. Requires extra wiping to remove polish which was not necessary on the gold series model, which wipes up to a bright shine using microfiber towel or paper towel.

• We have bought many whirlpool products. Currently own a washer and dryer by them, mason reason we buy from them. Black glass top is the best, looks great

• All of my knobs have broken except one, less than 2 years old. Made of hard plastic instead of metal. Haven’t had any luck finding affordable replacements.

• Love the look. Cleaned up good with recommended cleaner. Wish the larger elements were in the front cause I mostly use big skillets and pots.

• Very happy with this cooktop. It was a challenge to get it though. Purchased it in December 23. This model was the right size for our replacement. Finally installed on March 8 after one installed had a broken corner in February. The controls have moved from my original whirlpool cooktop on the right to the center so getting used to that is interesting. Heating of burners is very good.
