• I purchased this refrigerator, which was delivered and installed on March 12, 2025 and within just a few weeks, I’m already facing major issues. The freezer is experiencing frost buildup, condensation is causing food to melt, and there’s ice accumulating on the coils. The refrigerator is also incredibly loud, with the water and ice maker constantly making noise, and the fan runs non-stop. To top it off, there were noticeable dents upon arrival. While the refrigerator looks nice and was expensive, it’s clear that it’s not made well. I strongly urge potential buyers to steer clear of this model. It’s disappointing to pay so much for a product that doesn’t even function properly out of the box.

• Dear Whirlpool Team, Thank you for reaching out and asking for feedback on my new refrigerator. I purchased it on January 30, 2026 (Model: WRMF3636RZ), and I would like to provide my honest and detailed review. First, I want to say that the refrigerator is visually appealing; it looks beautiful in my kitchen, and the Stainless Steel is very easy to clean. However, my experience with the interior design and functionality has been extremely disappointing. I am very frustrated with the lack of usable storage space and several design issues:Storage and Design Flaws Ice Bin and Dispenser: The ice bin and in-door dispenser system take up an excessive amount of cold storage room, both on the main shelves and the left door. The door shelving is compromised, with bins measuring only 2 inches and 4.5 inches, making them nearly useless for standard items. Internal Components: The top lighting and the "D" shaped water filter also consume cold storage space, further limiting room. Main Compartment Space: The refrigerator severely lacks functional storage space. The right-side shelves are too tight—one instance resulted in a hole being put in a gallon-sized milk bottle. There is no tall space, and even a standard wine bottle cannot fit upright. There are also dark spaces inside where it is difficult to see what is stored. Freezer Section: The freezer space is also too small, consisting of only two small baskets, which is insufficient. Functionality Issues Door Mechanics: I am highly dissatisfied that the doors are not self-closing and require a hard push to shut properly. Furthermore, there is no alarm to alert me when the doors have been left open for too long. Final Assessment Given the severe limitations in cold and freezer storage space, I believe this model is misrepresented. It is not suitable for a family and is only appropriate for a single person. This is the worst appliance I have ever purchased, and I am furious that I cannot return it. I am now forced to purchase a supplementary refrigerator system to hold the food this unit cannot. I would rate this product a 1 out of 5, as it fails to meet basic needs for food storage. I would strongly caution other buyers against purchasing this refrigerator. Thank you, Perle

• It’s a month old, runs true temps! Like the refrigerated drawer and freezer basket! We are pleased. Downside: door shelves are small and more unstable than I’d like. They slip when removing item.

• Do NOT purchase, especially if you live in a rural area! Three days after delivery from a box store and after the 48 hour return policy, water was leaking inside the refrigerator, pooled under the deli drawer, spilled into the freezer, and onto the floor. Of course this also happened on the weekend. I called the box store who claimed they could not help me because Whirlpool repair was closed until Monday. Today I called the box store again. This time I was sent on a wild goose chase to text, online chat, etc. Then I tried to call Whirlpool directly. What a waste of time. I finally was able to set up a repair appointment online, but NOT without challenges. The earliest repair date is 3 weeks away. Thankfully, I am mechanically inclined and found where the leak came and then shut the water off

• This is the nicest refrigerator we have had, we had a whirlpool before but then we moved to the new house and it wouldn’t fit it the space, So we had to get another brand. This was the worst fridge we ever had. So we got the counter top trimmed, and found that this new Whirlpool would fit with its doors opening in close tight places, this fridge has plenty of space and we love the deli drawer. Would recommend this fridge to anybody.

• I am obsessed! I had no idea how happy the measured pour feature would make me. It's so efficient and easy to use. The third pull-out drawer is a game changer, too. I love the organized layout it provides. The freezer has ample space, and the French door area is well laid out.

• bought the first one at Home Depot. They delivered it. It leaks and has water on the freezer seal where the frame of the refrigerator is bent. They did three repairs on it not able to get it fixed called whirlpool as per requirements and the second refrigerator was delivered. The second refrigerator had a bigger bend in the frame where you could put your finger between the seal and the frame of the freezer. The third refrigerator that was delivered had a seal that wasn’t even glued on. I’ve called whirlpool with each incident and they really don’t have a great resolution. They state that they will send another refrigerator. I’m not sure if number 45 or six will be the better fix there seems to be a manufacturing error with the seals my freezer currently defrost approximately 1/3 of the freezer every single day. I can’t use it and yet there does not seem to be a great resolution. I was told I can pick a item from one of therefore companies, but they don’t seem to have much selection from there and if they’re all manufactured in the same plants, I suspect the problem will repeat over and over I’m very disappointed as I’ve owned several whirlpool Maytag and KitchenAid products in the past and this seems to be the worst.

• I’ve had this refrigerator for a month now since moving. It’s a good refrigerator but there’s some things I don’t like. First, the left door storage is kind of useless because the ice maker takes up most of the room. Second, the shelf in the right side can’t really hold many tall items. Thirdly, the wire drawer in the freezer doesn’t come out on its own. You have to pull it out and push it back in manually. I do like the middle drawer of the refrigerator as it holds quite a lot. The water filter is pretty convenient being on the top and is easy to replace by just pulling it down and inserting a new filter. Do like the water temperature feature on the front and the ability to select a pre measured amount of water. In general I like the refrigerator but honestly, I had a Samsung Bespoke smart refrigerator at my last house and I absolutely loved it.

• Works well, however whenever you open the freezer door there is condensation on the top of it. Enough you can wipe it off with your hand. I have had the thermometer in it and the temperature is accurate. Is this something common with this model or should it be checked into?? Also it was delivered with a dent in the side. The delivery guys said ABC would take care of it. I talked with a manager, he had my email and never has contacted me regarding a discount due to the damage. (it wasn't enough to make me not accept it, but the delivery driver said there should be some compensation for the damage:)

• If I could give 0 stars I would. VERY noisy! VERY small inside! Must open both doors to fully open right side crisper drawer!🤪 One 3 pack of romaine lettuce pretty much fills the drawer! At 6 months old seal around right hand door was cracked in several places. There is condensation on seal inside freezer drawer. Service tech replaced door seal but new seal has several folds in it from being packaged. It’s been installed for week and not showing signs of improvement. He “softened the seal with heat gun” in freezer drawer. No change in appearance of condensation. I really want my $$$$ back!!!

• Moved in his house seven years ago it’s actually the refrigerator. I really want it then because my side-by-side Whirlpool went out since March not making ice. I was gonna get the newer version of the side-by-side knowing that’s not what I wanted so when I saw this freezer on the bottom version go on sale, I jumped on it I just can’t figure out how to take the ice out

• Good size fridge; the freezer is huge. The pullout drawer is also plenty big; I am using as deli drawer. The french doors don't always shut completely so I have to be careful to push them totally closed. The water dispenser is great; very fast flow rate and I like the readout of how many ounces you've filled.

• Excellent refrigerator. Doors can be open and not trigger open door alarm or light, temperature control for drawer is extremely vague. Fixed shelf needs to be replaced with flexible split shelf.

• Purchased this fridge because it’s the newer version of a fridge we had previously that we absolutely loved. The previous fridge had a problem with the freezer vents getting blocked all the time and then it wouldn’t make ice. We were so happy to see that design had been improved but Whirlpool also changed the ice maker design and it takes up a lot of room in the fridge. If we had realized how much room it was going to take up, we wouldn’t have purchased it

• My new refrigerator was delivered on 11/19 and I’ve had nothing but trouble! Door is scratched in two places, full of vaseline on the top of the door and it does not close correctly. The Door is mid-aligned! A service call was scheduled on 11/26 and nobody showed up! After 3 more calls to customer service, I now have wait up to 8 days for this to be escalated!! I also received an email to find someone local and pay for the repairs myself! Unbelievable!!!

• I had problems with freezer day 1. It was not cooling properly. I also am unsure of the refrigerator cooling - it is inconsistant. Recommended is 38 but mine was always higher. I lowered temp per instructions, then it came up too low. Sown to 36-37. Still today, I cannot get it right. The drawer on freezer is not level. CS sent a repair man who could not level, so he ordered new rails for the drawer- still waiting for that. Told don't bet Samsung, get whirlpool. Now I question that---

• Good deal on this fridge. Ordered online but did not see it in person before it arrived. It’s beautiful outside (black stainless steel). Love the 3rd drawer that is REFRIGERATED. I had a card time finding a fridge where that drawer was not a freezer. Freezer is very deep and large with a wire sliding basket for additional storage. The TWO NEGATIVES are: 1] the ice maker is in the top left ares in the fridge which takes away from storage . 2) the compressor is a but large.

• They delivered it to me on November 4, I registered it on November 6, and it was already leaking water due to condensation. The water dispenser keeps leaking. I don’t recommend this brand of appliances. I wouldn’t use it again when it’s time to replace them.

• Even though we purchased this fridge because it was, we thought, like our previous one which we like. However, after installed we realized the Fruits and Vegetables drawers were larger, thus reducing the other storage space inside. We lost a shelf due to the drawers being deeper. (see picture) We do like that the shelf above the Fruits and Vegetables drawers is one piece rather than two, which was in our previous fridge. All other features are relatively the same. I tried to add an image but the site would not let me. I guess this site is like your products!!!!!!!! Plus, the submit button below tells me to submit as my previous review on the oven.
