• The dehumidifier works extremely well. It has done a great job extracting humidity from my Basement. I wish I had purchased another unit. Almost everyday it fills and I manually empty it. It has alerts on the unit which is quite helpful.

• It runs quietly and does an amazing job. I use this in my office and it has made such a tremendous difference in how my office feels. I love this machine. It is so easy to empty water and just let it run and you don't have to think about it. Nice compact unit that does the job right.

• It’s a great dehumidifier but how do I change the filter or where to get them!? I had it for about 3 weeks before it started flashing filter.

• Dehumidifier works as it should but the Capacity is not large enough for the humidity in the garage. It has to be emptied every day because there is no drain to connect a permanent hose for continuous drainage. The auto on/off and damp detection is great! I wish I had paid attention to the size of the collector bucket. This unit is very quiet for the amount of moisture it collects.

• The controls do what is required. It really removes the humidity. I have a lower basement garage and it will want to start getting mold in there from the humid are outside and when opening and the cold ceiling from duct work feeding a bedroom above. This unit does great for the space and brings down and hold the humidity around 37-38 percent. Runs quiet. Capacity is good but I have to use a drain hose otherwise I empty the tank every 12 hours.

• This is my second purchase, the first one which was 50 pint still working but the container was broken and leaking, the machine still working.

• I bought this unit to put in my shed outside. I hooked up a garden hose so that I didn't have to go out and empty it all the time. It doesn't work. I am so frustrated because now I have to go out there and empty it all the time. Other than that, it works fine, so far.

• Lots of vibration when running! Made very cheaply…sure not like my last dehumidifier that I bought 7 years ago.

• This dehumidifier was great, at first... It only worked for three months from March to June. Now it overheats, shuts off, and no longer removes any water from the air. I have repeatedly tried to schedule service as I bought warranty care when I purchased it. My husband and I have both called the support number (but it is automated, and hangs up on you after a certain number of tries), and I guess I paid $277 for nothing. I would give 0 stars, if that was an option. I thought General Electric could be trusted, and was hopeful for a solution to our humidity issues in our poorly built apartment. Turns out the dehumidifier is just as poorly built.

• Do not buy this dehumidifier. I purchased two identical 22 pint GE dehumidifiers from Home Depot one month ago. I could have chosen less expensive appliances from smaller brands but chose not to because I had thought highly of the GE appliance company. Both dehumidifiers make an unacceptable amount of humming noise that can be heard from a floor away. I contacted GE directly and I was told that I should just find my receipt and bring it back to Home Depot. If I wanted to use the warranty provided by GE I would have to re-purchase and lay out the funds for new GE replacements then submit a request and wait eight weeks for reimbursement. This is absurd and a disappointment. I expected better from such a well know brand. Clearly 2 identical appliances making the same horrific sound is the result of poor manufacturing. I expected more from this company. I will not select the GE brand ever again.
