Works like it should. Quieter than others. Smart dry is awesome! Set the humidity level and automatically shuts off when level reached and kicks in when over.

For the price point and needs of our household this dehumidifier was a great choice. Due to recent floods in our area, we had limited access to a variety of devices, but this works well, has all the adjustments needed to limit the humidity in our basement.

I've had the GE 35pt Engery Star Portable Dehumidifier for a few days and was pleasantly surprised by the sound level I've experienced. I was told by friends before my purchase that I should be prepared for a noticable increse in noise from a dehumidifier running continuously but to the contrary I've verily noticed it. I can be compared to an electric fan on low to medium speed.

All dehumidifiers are kinda loud but this one is way more quiet then my homelabs one (22 pint from 2020). The smart dry setting is what I keep it on and the bin fills quickly. I may end up doing a drain setup so I don’t have to empty the bin everyday. My home is 2300 square feet and I placed this one on the main level. I’ll probably get one for my 2nd floor. The only downside is I couldn’t find this model in white 50 pint as I’m not a fan of a grey color.

I really like the pull out tray that catches the water. Very easy to haul and dump. It is not as noisy as the last one we had.

Just started using, but already love how the unit is set up and its noise level. Easy to empty without attaching a hose, with a great handle to steady. Doesn't leak when carried.

Very nice dehumidifier. Very happy with being able to put a hose on it to drain into my sump pump. Makes it smush more convenient than having to empty the bucket.
