• My old washing machine lasted us since 1991-with many repairs of course. We could no longer find parts and finally opted for this machine. It works great! However, if you keep your laundry room inside your home rather than out in the garage like we do, you will notice how loud the machine is while running. I was worried at first about the clicking noise during the spin cycle but the washer guide said it was normal. I love that you have a water level adjustment and it is a high efficiency machine. It also makes a fairly loud whooshing while it washes. It doesn't bother me since it's out in the garage. If you dont care about the noise it's a great machine :)

• Love this washer. Lots of different choices for cycles and water levels. The sound of it concerned me at first as it sounds totally different than my old washer, but i found out very quickly that the sound was normal.

• Excellent replacement for my old washing machine that finally failed. No excessive bells and whistles on this basic machine, but it does have a good choice of cycles to match load size and fabric types. Plus, it has a significantly larger drum capacity in the same outward physical space.

• This is my 2nd washer, my 1st one was over 10 years old! It would still be going if I didn't break it! I went to remove the agitator to clean under it, and unfortunately I turned the screw the wrong way and it snapped off couldn't get the screw out of agitator transmission. So that was my fault! This washer is very good and will last a very long time as long as you take care of it. Use washing machine cleaner tablets to maintain proper care of your machine. My favorite cleaners are active and afresh washing machine cleaner. I absolutely love this brand of appliances. They last forever! Thats why I bought the same washer again! I dont like front loaders, I prefer the old fashion agitator style washing machines, I feel they clean better. I absolutely recommend this washer, I still have the dryer to it! Thats still going. I bought the dryer with my 1st GE washing machine and its still as strong as the day I bought it.

• Nice washer.Allows enough water to really clean.Normal cycle takes about 40 min.Clothes are almost spun dry which means shorter dry times.

• Honestly, only used it a few times so far - but it's been great. What I really like is how dry clothes come out of the spin cycle. Very easy to use, no frills - but perfectly adequate for our needs.

• This washer was a great buy. Everything my wife wanted in a washer, adjustable water depth for large loads and the regular agitator for deep cleaning.
