• My last water heater lasted 19 years. This has same heavy duty parts as my old one as far ax i can tell. The big box stores use plastic drain connectors this is brass. The warrenty on tank heater is 12 years longer big box stores as well. It has error codes on it my last one didnt but this may be technology advance. So far so good but just got it so time will tell

• 40gal gas water heater. Installed 11-21-2024 Had it installed by local plumber. choose because of the 12 yr warranty. Choose over a more expensive mfg because of the longer warrenty.

• I have a master plumber whose opinion I respect. He recommended a GE water heater after I had two others fail before their warranties expired, noting that the GE warranty provided coverage for twice as long. Since installation I have had no problems and look forward to a long service life.

• Recently had my plumber install a new GE 40 gallon hot water tank (nat gas). Nice low profile design and attractive finish. in use less than a month and working very well so far. The price for the tank was lower than most competitors, and this model carries a 12 year warranty superior to others.

• Installers were great! Called at 9:30 a.m. Came at 1:30 p.m. Done in two hours. Classy looking water heater with 12-year warranty. Bet it doesn't last 60 years like my old one.
