• We were looking for a water heater to replace the one that barely was able to heat through one shower. To date we have been able to have multiple showers at one time, as well as wash dishes or run the washing machine while taking a shower & we still have enough hot water to go around!! This is a win win for us!

• This water heater is great. Easy to self install and it does it's job well. The only issue I had was getting the SmartHQ app connected to the water heater. The installatiin instructions don't indicate how to turn on the water heater wireless, but I downloaded the service instructions from ths GE website and those tell you how to turn on the wireless. After that the app leads you through the connection process. It all works great!

• This GE Smart 50 gal water heater is a very install for a do it yourself. I still need to connect to wifi though and will do it this week. It's suppose to give you a warning/notice if the anode needs to be replaced. It's able to heat up our water within an hour and seems to be running well so far. The water heater itself is a quality made product. It's solid, heavy and doesn't look cheap at all.

• Fairly easy to install. Came with one slight ding on the back, that does not affect operation. App is probably worthless.
