• We needed a microwave with a trim kit. We had chosen a Frigidaire that fit the bill. Due to “ supply chain” issues we could not get one for many months. our contractor picked this one. It is sleek and looks nice BUT is only able to do already programmable items such as reheat, frozen meals,potatoes, etc. You cannot put in your own times. There is no number keys. Totally frustrated and paid significantly for it.

• I bought this microwave after my house was destroyed by Hurricane Ida 2021. In May of 2022 We purchased the microwave and installed it in the Fall after the kitchen was completed. I started to notice some interior peeling last year but didn’t think anything of it. Boy was I wrong. This year April 2026 this microwave’s entire inside has peeled and the inside the front door had begun to melt. This microwave is less than 4 years old. I called customer service but was told there was nothing they could do about it. It was out of warranty. I’m not talking about parts, I’m talking about the structure of the microwave disintegrating. I’m pretty sure the warranty doesn’t cover that. My previous microwave was in my house for 15 years with no problem and the only reason I didn’t continue to use it was because we remodeled the kitchen. Now I’m stuck with trying to find a microwave that will fit the cabinet cut out.

• I had installed my microwave properly, the light turns on I set the clock. It was not until I used it to heat up a mug to make myself hot chocolate, when I hear sparking and I immediately take it out of he cabinet and see that the transformer is sparking.

• We built a house and chose the appliances that would fit in the spots. Looks great but after only 2nyears and really not used but 3 times a week it started sparking. Thee repair man said the magnatron is.is generating sparks against the wave guide. I said ok..fix it. He said he can't be fixed on this model and I have to buy a new microwave. Really.. 2 years with below average use. I think whirlpool should replace it since I have $20,000 worth of whirlpool appliances all through my house. For close to.700 bucks it.might be worth getting a different brand. If I owned whirlpool I would definitely give a new one out after 2 years. That's a bad look

• I got this microwave brand new and the inside rusted after only 2 years of owning it. Apparently the dimensions are unique and I can’t find a cheaper replacement so now I’m faced with paying another $700 plus install to buy the same microwave that just rusted after barely using it. I feel scammed by this company.

• We like it. We are still getting used to the cook buttons being on the inside. We thought that because they were inside there would be less fingerprints, not the case. The outside needs constant cleaning. The microwave came with the wrong size turntable. We called Whirlpool and I was able to get the right size. We are happy overall with the microwave.

• perfect lil built in microwave. Features are perfect. Just the right amount of controls and the door opening is super SLICK! I'm actually shocked that this is a whirlpool product. The design and quality feels like something that would be reserved for JenAir. Thank you Whirlpool designers and product folks for knocking this one out of the park!

• There is something wrong with the design and location and engagement of the glass plate and the roller wheel in this microwave. It will be all get out of its spot when it’s working and spinning. I have to stop the microwave move it back to the right spot and run the microwave again. Very inconvenient and annoying

• I love this built-in microwave! Some people on the reviews said that you can't set the time you want to use, but this microwave does have this feature. This microwave straight out of the box was very simple to use. You can use the preset buttons, you have. A plus 30 second button, and the door open button is really nice! I was worried about the microwave being so narrow as far as the height goes but I have been able to put everything in the microwave without any issues and still have room to spare!

• I bought this microwave a few months ago and I love it! However I recently noticed that the steam that has being emitted from the microwave vents are damaging my cabinets. I noticed that the paint on the cabinets directly above the microwave are starting to peel and chip. As this microwave cannot be vented outside, there is no way for me to deflect the steam away from my cabinets. Do you have a solution to this problem? Thank you. I would only recommend this product if there were a way to solve this problem.

• I'M IN THE PROCESS OF REMODELING MY KITCHEN AND I BOUGHT THIS MICROWAVE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO. IT WORKS GREAT, IT HEATS UP THE FOOD SUPER FAST AND IT CAN FIT WIDE PLATES AND DISHES. I LIKE THAT THE NUMBERS TO SET THE MICROWAVE ARE INSIDE AND HIDDEN. THIS MAKES THE MICROWAVE LOOK MODERN AND VERY NICE. I DONT COOK IN THE MICROWAVE SO I CAN'T COMMENT ON THAT.

• The design is good but it started rusting after 2-3 years and is no longer usable with rusting all over. Unfortunately the space in the cabinet was designed for this product and I cannot find another microwave that fits. I am regretting this purchase.

• We do enjoy this microwave. It is shorter than our old microwave. If you have anything taller than 12 inches, it will not fit. But we usually don't have anything that size. We just start to learn the functions and working to learn more about it.

• This microwave was part of our appliance line up for our new build home. We do like our microwave but find the space capacity a bit short and the controls are ultra sensitive. If you barely touch the open button it opens automatically.

• We renovated our kitchen last summer. Love the look of this microwave and the functionality, but it does not reheat food well at all. I have had food in there for over 2 minutes and there will still be cool spots. It is set on 100% power. Not sure the issue.

• This microwave is pretty good. its a great design the numbers are hidden by the door which makes for a great sleek look. My only hang up is it's smaller than what I've been used to. Like its length is the average size of a typical microwave but I was pretty surprised in that the height seems to be shorter than anything I've delt with before. All in all, it hasn't affected me negatively or any differently that I've noticed.

• I built a new home. The builder selected this microwave and it is very basic. It's also small. A large mixing bowl nearly touches the top of the microwave. Additionally, the support under the carousel is unstable. It often comes out of the track. One of the thing I like least about this microwave is that one needs to open the door in order to access the controls.

• Bought this to replace exact model that barely lasted 3.5 years. Thought it would be a simpler install and it was, but that's about it. Went to turn it on and it makes a horrific noise. Have to wait a week for repairman to come and fix. Not good. Hope the fix lasts more than a year. Bad decision that I have to stick with now.

• To start with the good: microwave looks good. The bad: - the tray falls all the time! No matter what I do the tray falls off. This is frustrating everyday. - the door is smudges all the time. Microwave does not have a handle. The door has fingerprints all day long. - at this point the microwave door won't close. Apparently this microwave has a touch button to open the door. One day the microwave decides not to close. Upon research it looks like interlock feature just decided to go bad. It is an internal part. When I called whirlpool they mentioned that this is a wear and tear issue. The cost to fix this is 149 assessment + parts and labor. I have a 100 dollar microwave that has been working for 15 years. It is a ridiculous that an expensive microwave won't close and it is a wear and tear issue. Now I have a 700 dollar piece of junk, where my only option is to spend a ridiculous amount of money to fix or buy a new one. Will not be buying whirlpool products again

• Just this AM, I had tried to heat up a cup of tea, without turning on any kitchen lights…well, the only lights on the microwave that were illuminated is the clock….so I had to turn on a kitchen light to administer the time I wanted to do my tea….am I missing a feature, or is it just available?
