• Top notch refridgerator! It has large capacity for all grocery needs with adjustable shelves to fit everything! I especially love the wood sliding drawer and humidity controlled crisper for fruits and vegetables! Before this refridgerator, I had the freezer on the bottom. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the side by side doors but I love it! The water and ice maker are also very nice, especially because the ice maker is removable! The LED interior also adds luxury to the refridgerator. This is a really great refridgerator, and I will recommend it to everyone! I received this product complimentary for review.

• The stars aligned to allow this amazing fridge to be installed before the most massive winter weather event the DMV region has experienced in decades. When it was determined that I needed a new unit (repair guy said former 14yo Samsung compressor blew), Lowes had this on the floor. I am not joking when I say that the instant I touched the round, grooved handles, a surge of electricity zipped through me...and I knew this was the one. Then I saw the price was more than I had budgeted, but I quickly realized, the joy that I would feel the next 37000x I open and close these sexy doors, along with the LED night club style lighting and round ice cubes, would all pay for themselves in due time. I mean, look at this fridge people. It is simply brilliant to look at. I have walked away numerous times in awe of just how beautiful it is. And I cannot express the joy I feel in holding onto the grooved handles. They are simply magic to the touch. Once you open the door the interior lighting is like theater for your food. While this unit has almost an identical footprint to my old fridge on the outside, inside it seems so spacious due to the LED lighting. And the timed water dispense gets multi-daily use. The fresh food drawer is perfect for shorter life span items such as left overs or fresh made meals. Am still testing this out, but I am at 3-days and still delicious. The crisper bins and doors hold a lot of items too. The fridge itself seems very quiet but it does make sounds on occasion. Considering all the drama getting it installed, I could not be happier with this purchase. ONE important note for folks with older fridges: modern units require a steel braided water line (to prevent burst lines) which is an upgrade from many 10-15 year old lines, requiring a plumber to upgrade the unit from the water source. So, plan ahead for an updated line to be installed to you get your fridge installed the day you need it.

• This fridge just looks sleek. Delivery was quick and top notch. They made sure everything was level and took off all the plastic. Made sure the water was running well. The freezer side is the perfect size and has enough adjustable shelves that you can make a ton fit. The fridge side is also well sized but a little less adjust able. Plenty of room. I love the amount of drawers it has. Cheese drawer is my favorite. Took about 24 hours to make ice and it keeps up with our family of four daily use easily. Keeps things cold in the right way. Ice cream is frozen but soft. Easy to clean, everything is reachable. The lighting is perfection.

• This KitchenAid fridge is large, modern, and easy to use. We use it as our secondary fridge in the garage. I love the large handles, and the notification that pops up on the fridge door whenever a door is left open. The ice machine is fast and dispenses well. Lots of storage compartments and shelves to sort food. It does exactly what you need things to - keep things cold. Highly recommend.

• This is a beautiful fridge that runs very quiet, has temperature control, huge capacity for a counter depth, and so easy to install! It is very energy efficient with no noise. The wood grain drawer adds to the luxury feel of this fridge!

• 1. Excess expanding foam leaked out of edges where panels are joined. 2. Handle misalign 3. Fit and finish is horrible, big uneven gaps on the control panel at water dispenser. 4. LOUD, long running fan in the freezer. 5. Factory markings on top of the fridge door. 6. Drawers are hard to open, get stuck regularly. 7. Ice dispenser sprays ice everywhere. This replaced our whirlpool, which was much better built than this fridge. Kitchenaid is overrated, and will not buy again.

• We needed a size to fit in custom cabinet space to replace our 2002 counter depth KitchenAid (Yes, the old one lasted 24 years). This new design fit the bill perfectly. A little shorter than our old one and a little less capacity but this gives more air circulation around the refrigerator. Design of shelves and ice maker in the freezer door actually makes this seem more spacious than our old one. Easily holds as much, if not more than our old fridge. We love the grey interior color and surround LED lighting. The only thing to get use to is a little more noise from the ice maker cycling, given it resides entirely in the freezer door. It would also be nice to have one more shelf in the freezer compartment because most freezer items are not tall and need extra space. Having to pay $160 for an extra shelf seems a little excessive but we did order one to make the compartment more usable.

• We paid for the fridge on August 23-2025 It took 3 weeks to deliver and when it arrived it was damaged. They ordered a new one and left the damaged one. We are now waiting 2 more weeks for them to acquire another new fridge suppose to be delivered on 10-9-2025. As far as the fridge goes its perfect other than the lengthy inconvenience of waiting so long.

• Seems a little smaller inside than our last one, but our kitchen is built to fit the first generation of this and it was nice but this one is beautiful inside only thing bad is it has a cracked shelf in it on the door and I kinda need to tell them that but other than that it’s absolutely beautiful and quiet

• Quiet, cold, lots of space, and installation was easy. Side by side means low maintenance compared to my old french door that kept having icing issues. Because of its low nose I expect it to be energy efficient. Can't hear any compressor just really quiet fans. Love it so far!

• I bought this refrigerator this past May. A day or two after it was installed, the icemaker gears shattered. I notofied KitchenAid and they gave me a referral. It has been delayed, delay, delay. Today, I called KitchenAid and got the phone number and name of the company to service my unit. I googled the phone number and found the company has changed names and has very unfavorable reviews. I am at the point of considering ordering the parts from KitchenAid and doing the repair myself. Wish me luck.

• My wife and I have used Kitchenaid products for years and for the most part have been very happy and satisfied with the product. Our recent purchase of the Kitchenaid 20.8 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Exterior Ice Maker and Water Dispenser was worth the homework! Don't let the smaller size fool you, the way it was designed is truly impressive and exceptional, we don't experience the feelings of moving down from a larger refrigerator to a smaller one, again due to the ingenious design. Highly recommended for those searching for a quality counter counter-depth side-by-side with exterior ice maker and water dispenser!

• We actually bought and returned to other fridges before finally settling on this one. We’ve had our last side-by-side for over 20 years, but decided to try other configurations. We ran back to the side-by-side. Two reasons this one isn’t perfect. Number one it can be a little noisy. Number two there is clearly the guides in the freezer for another shelf, but no shelf. After tons of research, I have discovered that is the way it’s manufactured. It’s ridiculously silly. I have tried to buy the parts through a few different places, including whirlpool/KitchenAid with no luck. Now I will be going to my local glass store to see if they can help.

• I would have given it a 5 star rating but disappointed that the shelves are not adjustable in the refrigerator section or the freezer. At least you can adjust the shelves on the door. Another feature I'm not thrilled about is the fact that you have to remove the ice bin in order to get to the on/off switch for ice making. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase. When all is said and done I know I will adjust. Love the lighting inside and love the handles. It also holds the temperature inside refrigerator and freezer beautifully. Had a KitchenAid refrigerator for the last 18 years and hope this one lasts just as long.

• We replaced an older KitchenAid side by side that was close to 20 years old. I really wanted a french door with bottom freezer but I just don't trust anyone's in door ice maker as your going to fight a losing battle with trying to make ice inside the fridge. Regardless, I was really happy with sticking with this side by side and the amount of room I gained over the old model was impressive while being about 1 inch less in depth. So far we haven't run out of ice and we really like the updated platinum interior versus the old white. The only complaint is that this fridge is a bit louder than the older one. Not annoyingly loud, but I notice it. So far, this has been a great upgrade!

• Kitchenaide sent sent out a repair person to inspect our fridge-side door which was not aligned despite our fridge being brand new. They confirmed that, yes the door was angled/tilted, the door bumper on the top of the door was loose and didn’t even touch the fridge when door was closed, and that the alignment adjustment had already been fully adjusted but the door was still tilted. Kitchenaide said that my tilted door was “still within specs” and was not tilted enough for them to be willing to do anything. Kitchenaide determined that this problem with my brand new $2,000 side by side door fridge was “cosmetic” which meant that they would no doubt anything about it.

• This fridge looks beautiful in our kitchen! It is designed so well that it has much more room than most counter-depth side-by-side refrigerators. We especially love the ice maker being built into the door itself which frees up a log more freezer space! Beautiful, functional and worth the price!

• I bought this kitchenaid about one month. My first impression is not very impressed with the quality of the workmanship of the kitchenaid. The door handles were not in line as for the hight.

• I disappointed in the refrigerator right off the bat the ice maker didn't work took two repair trips to get it working. They had to replace the water valve that feeds the ice maker. the next thing is the top small drawer door does not work smoothly, it was missing a roller guild wheel. Also the shelves in the refrigerator section are not adjustable. We only want this refrigerator because it was the only one that we could find it would fit in the space that we had. The original refrigerator from another brand delayed the delivery date out by several weeks and we needed one much sooner that's where we picked this one

• Too much plastic, too little space. I’d looked at side-by-side for several years. Initially this KitchenAid side-by-side looked modern, sleek with some eye catching features like the automatic dimming interior lights. It seemed to be the right refrigerator for me. But reality is different than a look in a store. Some of the drawers are only half drawers. The interior main shelves can’t be adjusted & neither the refrigerator nor freezer have enough storage for single person. Lastly it seems to have a sleek modern look but all those pieces are not a nice metal but coded plastic. Disappointed in KitchenAid for the lack of substantial interior materials. I’m afraid it’s a fail.
