  • The first oven we ordered arrived damaged. They shipped us another over as the second oven didn’t even work 24 hours before and error code occurred due to a bad control board. The control board was back ordered so they sent us the third appliance. When this appliance arrived the drawer at the bottom of the oven is bent and door doesn’t close evenly. Product is cheaply made and if you’re looking for higher end quality I wouldn’t buy kitchen aide. Buy wolf or sub zero. Save the additional money and just buy the lg or cafe.

  • Love this stove! It has wifi connectivity so I can easily start baking or preheating, see how much cook time remains, or set timers from my phone. The knobs on the front are slick and clearly marked to remove guesswork. There is a triple burner option for those large pots. The glass top is strong and smooth, almost flush with my countertops. The oven has steam bake options as well as conventional and convection baking options. Overall, this is a high-tech, easy-to-use, and sophisticated stove that would look great in any kitchen.

  • Thank you so much to Influenster & KitchenAid for sending this complimentary Stove. What a beautiful and elegant design. Very well designed Heating system. Many different features to bake, air fryer and perfect for steam baking for Sourdough Bread. Love that you can set the timer while baking. Also appreciate very much the 3 size in one burner. Another thing that I want to mention in the first use of the oven it was smoking but according to the manufacturing manual that was normal thankfully my husband read it. WiFi connectivity how great! Overall such a great new appliance!

  • So so beautiful, it’s so functional I can even control from my phone!! It’s easy to clean off and even has self cleaning modes. It gets hot super quick makes food incredibly fast. Lots of room to cook lots as well. Super durable and strong materials I’m so obsessed with the many features especially the fact that I can air fry food in my oven!!

  • The KitchenAid KSES530SPS is a really solid range! It heats up quickly, cooks super evenly, and the controls are easy to use without feeling complicated. The oven has plenty of space, and the cooktop is smooth and easy to clean—huge bonus. I love the different oven options such as air fry and steam bake. It also looks sleek in the kitchen, which I love. Overall, great performance and really dependable like all of my KitchenAid appliances.

  • This stove is literally amazing. I will admit that I haven’t had a chance to use all of the settings. But I have cooked on the stovetop and used the regular oven settings and it has worked like a charm! It connects to wifi and the app tells me when my stove is preheated. I can also turn the oven on through the app. This stove is heavy duty and I think it will hold up to my daily cooking very well! I can’t wait to try the “proofing” option for bread and cinnamon rolls! The convection options will be great for my nugget and pizza loving kiddos! Can’t wait to see what all I can do with this stove

    kristieh25_259911/22/2025 12:47 AM

  • If I could give this stove 0 stars, I would. I’ve had several appliances throughout my life from basic bottom line ones, to high end ones and this range is by far the worst purchase I’ve ever made. EVER! I’ve always been a fan of KitchenAid and although I had hesitations since its owned by Whirlpool, I decided to gamble on it because the online reviews were so positive. Now I’m kicking myself for spending almost 2k on this. As far as looks, it’s beautiful. Modern design that looks high end. Matches my KitchenAid Dishwasher that works like a dream. As far as functionality, that’s where it all goes downhill. We cook a lot, at least one, usually 2 meals every day are made at home. Our stove and dishwasher are the most used appliances in the home. So we need a stove that’s efficient and works well. When we first used the oven on this range, we noticed a string chemical smell, which is common with new appliances, so that wasn’t so concerning. However… while the oven was in operation for the first time, I wanted to cook something else on the stove top which is when I noticed how hot the knobs and the front of the oven had gotten. It had only been on maybe 15 min at 425 F and the front was registering 119 F with an instant read thermometer, with the sides registering 139 F. This didn’t seem normal, it scared us so we turned it off and called Whirlpool the next day. The response we got was that it was completely normal, within range for external temperatures. We couldn’t believe it. They wouldn’t even send a tech out because they didn’t consider this “a problem”. We contacted Home Depot, but by then, the 48hr return window had closed and while they were willing to help, there was only so much they could do. They did manage to get a technician to come out and look at the range, and after stepping foot inside and never turning the oven on, he showed us a chart that provided the acceptable temperature ranges for an appliance, and it said temps up to 180 F (!) were normal for the outside of a range while in operation. How? How is it normal for the metal face of a cooking appliance that you need to touch when operating to get to 180F? They tell you to set your water heater at 120F because the hot water can burn you, but it’s ok for your stove knobs to be 180F? Unacceptable. And what happens to the cabinet on the side of a stove that’s constantly exposed to a temp of 139F? What if a child touches the outside of that stove when it’s in operation? So many issues with this, it’s mind boggling that I’m stuck with a 2k disaster in my kitchen. I never ever ever thought this was an issue with ranges but upon further investigation I found numerous threads discussing this problem. How would a consumer know this? You think you’re buying an American brand, well built appliance, and you get burned (!). Anyway, stay away from this KitchenAid stove and make sure you test your appliances within the first day of installation, otherwise you’re stuck with them.

  • I am so happy to have had the opportunity to review this Kitchen Aid Smart Electric Range! It looks beautiful in my kitchen and totally updated it with the flat, flush back. The delivery and installation were painless and it just slid right in to the wall! I was worried we would have some sizing issues but it fit perfectly. This is a very smart oven. I particularly enjoy the Bluetooth connection with the Kitchen Aid app that allows you to preheat your oven from another room. However, once it is preheated, you will only hear a faint sound form the oven that lets you know it is ready. I wish it was louder. That is my biggest disappointment with this range. The timer alert noise is also very low, despite me trying to adjust the volume. I would never be able to hear the beeps from another room. The set up was easy with QR codes and the buttons on the front panel of the oven are easy to access and pretty self explanatory. There are cooking features I haven’t even been able to test out yet because I haven’t made dishes that require convection cooking but I am excited for when I do! I appreciate the drip pan that came with the oven. I haven’t seen that before. There are so many features that make this oven a great product but I would love to see that timer and preheat alert change. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

    kristinh152_143701/12/2026 07:41 PM

  • I’ve had this range for a few months now, and I’m really happy with it. It heats up super fast and cooks evenly, which makes baking and roasting way easier. The convection setting actually makes a difference no more burnt edges and raw middles. The stovetop is strong too, especially the larger burners. It took me a bit to get used to how quick they heat, but now I love it. It looks really clean and modern in my kitchen, and the slide-in design gives it that built-in look. I don’t use the smart features all that much, but it’s nice being able to preheat from my phone if I’m busy. Only downside is keeping the glass top spotless it shows everything but that’s pretty normal for this kind of range. Overall, it’s been reliable, sleek, and a big upgrade from my old stove.

    amandamc696_845311/12/2025 07:49 AM

  • This range isn't even a month old, and the control board, glass door and seal are going to be replaced. We had F2E2 error codes and it quit working during air frying and steam cleaning. Was able to reset it by shutting off the circuit breaker for a minute. The glass door has moisture and grease built up between the glass after using the air fryer 2 times. The quality of the air fried foods we cooked 2x was great. It's too soon to know if the repairs will make this a reliable appliance. The cooktop is extremely hard to keep clean. We were unhappy that you have to look up the control guide online. We are hopeful that the repairs correct these problems, but at this point, we cannot recommend this range. KitchenAid needs to evaluate the design to correct these problems. Our previous Kitchen Aid range was 20 years old and the quality was great. It was so disappointing to have our range quit working in 9 days, especially over Christmas & New Years. We can barely hear the timer beeps and it is on the loudest setting. We are not hard of hearing, but if you aren't near the range, it will not be heard. Having only 2 oven racks is also an inconvenience. We had 3 before, don't use them all the time, but nice to have when you need them. We do not like to post negative reviews. A new appliance after 20 years should be fun, this is not!

    Luv2cook201/16/2026 03:51 AM

  • I purchased this before Thanksgiving 2025 and so thankful I did. I didn’t realize how poor my other range was. I love the slide in better than the free standing. I really like how well the wireless works. I can be working on putting something together and ask Alexa to turn on the oven to a certain temp. And works every time! I joked with my son that it feels like I am part of “The Carousel of Progress”! Heats perfectly cooks evenly and cleans up nicely. I also used the steam bake function and the proofing function with my sourdough bread. All I can say is WOW! How did I live without this!

    Rina15512/10/2025 07:33 AM

  • Total junk. Received it the Monday before Thanksgiving. Used it once to burn off the interior gasses and then once more Thanksgiving morning then a code popped up, and it's been unusable ever since. This is mid morning Thanksgiving when there are still many things that need to baked. How is this even possible? My only guess is that KitchenAid has no QC protocol. It is completely unacceptable. Everything gets one star since I have no reference for most of the items below.

    JG642312/04/2025 09:35 PM

  • We purchased this just before Thanksgiving with expectations. It is, sadly, very difficult to use. It didn't come with an operators manual and is drastically different than any stove we have used or owned. We have almost caught the house on fire several times not realizing it was still on. The markings on the knobs are not visible because the knobs are chrome and the markings are not a visible color. Can't tell if the burners are off because there is nothing to indicate it. It is far more complicated than any stove we have ever had and with no instruction manual it is very difficult to run or understand. My wife and I are almost eighty and we are quite sure this stove is going to kill us unless we get an operators manual and knobs with markings that show up.

    M & Carol02/26/2026 02:03 AM

  • Bought a month and a half ago and still trying to figure it out and at time have been ready to throw it out the door. Still cannot set clock. Fan ran for 45 minutes after turning off broiler. Just 2 nights ago I wanted to bake cornbread for dinner and oven would not come on - the control panel woukd not allow me to select any feature. I was using the stove top at the time but if I turned it off - non of the oven features or settings did not work. They wouldn't even beep.

No nickname - my name is01/15/2026 07:47 PM

  • The stove and oven are a great compliment to our kitchen. Very nice look and a great cooking device.

    Scott Ralph10/29/2025 06:37 AM

  • Purchased 3 months ago. I liked the idea of customizing the black ore and purchased the overpriced $350 bronze knobs and handle. Looks great but the build is cheap with sharp edges and thin metal and the knobs are flimsy. The rings and oven function nicely. The touch pad lacks sensitivity and the timer alarm on max is weak and wimpy. THAT SUCKS! Can't hear it unless I'm in the room. How did that get by quality control? No comment on the wifi as I don't use it. If you provide an air fry function shouldn't there be a basket? My old GE came with a heavy duty broiler and it wasn't a fancy range. I have the matching dishwasher and have no complaints there. I wanted to buy American made, and your design is inovative, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it because the quality is lacking. You had a good idea KitchenAid but improvement is needed for the price.

    CWconsumer03/27/2026 05:27 AM

  • I bought this unit in November '25 and finally received in January '26. The unit worked great until just over our 30 return window and our first time trying the air fry function. After about 20 minutes of use, the range quit and showed an F2E2 error on the keypad. After researching and following the Kitchenaid recommendations, the keypad still will not work and so the entire unit is no longer working. I have contacted Kitchenaid/Whirlpool who had a service appointment through a 3rd party company scheduled. This appointment was canceled because the part is on backorder for 4-6 weeks. I spent 3+ hours on the phone yesterday trying to determine what we can do to get this fixed sooner. Our old unit went out so we purchased a brand new $1300 range that is now a shiny placeholder in my kitchen. The customer service sent me in cicles for most of my time on the phone and on hold and ulitmately told me that they have submitted the order but cannot do anything until the part becomes available. Despite the additional warranty coverage and being brand new, they have basically told me that they cannot help. So I am using a countertop burner to cook for my family and the nice new unit that I purchased is sitting inoperable. I have been a devoted Kitchenaid customer for many years but this is making me reconsider future purchases. While I understand that these things happen, 4-6 weeks is unacceptable for an appliance that is used daily to feed my family. This is not a pizza oven or randomly used appliance that we can just live without.

    MichelleL21602/13/2026 12:30 AM

  • Used for about a month. Electronic interface is a bit clunky. Timer alerts and bells way too quiet (yes I have them on the highest setting. Phone app doesn’t show timer unless it was originally set in app rather than stove. Lower drawer feels chintzy. Knobs plasticky. This is the same tier KitchenAid as my last one and it is not even nearly as good. It is adequate, but will probably be my last Kitchenaid.

    Dpuelle12/12/2025 06:11 PM

  • I purchased a month ago and was happy at the esthetics, and some features that will need to learn. pizza bake is nice and works really well when making fresh pizza. the cook top is below the stainless top with all the buttons this scratches very easy and rather unsightly for something a month old if you move a pan and touches the metal its leaves a mark. hard to clean display.

    Mully26*01/17/2026 07:37 PM

  • Got the 1st one. Came dented and twisted from delivery so allowed them to bring a replacement. And the replacement has circuit problems. It also has hot areas where they aren't supposed to get hot. Lastly the black ore color shades are very different from each other. This is more gunmetal gray. So there's an overall issue. Still waiting to have this 2nd one addressed.

    Eiitar12/15/2025 11:42 AM

  • Bought this electric range a month ago and it heats food evenly on the burners. We've also baked numerous items in the range with great results. No complaints about the functionality of the burners or the range. I didn't give five stars because I have been a KitchenAid customer for 30 years and the new timer feature with seconds is extremely frustrating. We do not use seconds for cooking. I have called customer service and honestly have received no assistance from Kitchen Aid staff even though the information says you can change the timer to minutes and hours. Also, unlike our last KitchenAid stove, this model number panel is not as sensitive to the touch requiring us to press harder and multiple times to register numbers for the degrees and timer amounts.

    KandS10001/31/2026 09:22 PM

  • I’ve always had KitchenAids. 12 years since I bought my last one. Was looking forward to getting a smart one, but the electronics and app are a disappointment. Don’t connect quickly. Don’t talk to each other logically. Also sound is way too quiet. ( yes I have it all the way up.) Drawer feels chintzy. It works adequately, but is not a joy to use.

    Dpuelle212/22/2025 07:39 PM

  • I bought this range more than month ago. The color is fabulous. The range top is well thought out and cooks great but keeping it clean is almost impossible. The oven control app is not useful for me. It is slightly confusing, but it was the only way to set up the oven. Not sure I want to continue to use it. I have only baked in the oven haven't used all the other settings. I also bought the matching dishwasher, range hood and refrigerator; again the color is fabulous. I am sure I will grow to love all of them. Change is hard!

  • I experienced electrical issues from day 1 - getting four different error codes. The repairs took over a month for new parts to come in. Some errors would stop the range from working completely. I would have to turn off the breaker and restart it, but that was only a short term fix. The top, front panel and knobs get over 120 degrees. Kitchen Aid says thats normal. I asked KitchenAid to take it back, as i wasnt comfortable with the tempature on the outside being i have a two year old. They were not willing to do anything.
