An American company for over 100 years
Whirlpool Corporation started in 1911 as a small company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Today we are a global home appliance business selling products around the world. We are proud of our American heritage and ingenuity that have driven innovation for over 100 years.
10-year limited parts warranty on the racks, chopper blade and stainless steel tub
Maytag® dishwashers are covered by a 10-year limited parts warranty on the racks, chopper blade and stainless steel tub. So when we say you can count on your dishwasher for years, we mean it.
Premium ball-bearing rack glides
Our premium ball-bearing rack glides give the upper rack a glide so smooth you can pull it out even when you’re hauling an armload of bowls, or when the rack's lugging your heaviest dishes and baking pans.
Built for the long haul
We packed in sturdy stainless steel that’s ready for cycle after cycle of tough cleaning. Stainless steel materials are built for high heat and resist stains to help keep your dishwasher looking good for years to come.
Sani Rinse option
Add serious sanitization to any wash cycle. After washing is complete, the Sani Rinse option delivers a high-temperature rinse that removes 99.99% of food soil bacteria from dishes and glassware.
Full stainless steel tub
The full stainless steel tub is built of stainless steel from top to bottom, so it’s tough enough to handle high heat for years.
Eco Series
Designed with efficiency in mind. Saving you water, energy and money with quality wash and dry performance.*Compared to dishwashers meeting the minimum 2023 Department of Energy efficiency standards
Touch controls
You’re in control with a simple tap of your finger. Smooth, tap-to-activate settings give you quick and seamless access to powerful cleaning.
Quiet at only 47 dBA
This dishwasher is made to perform at only 47 dBA, so you can enjoy the quiet cleaning power of a Maytag dishwasher.
Bring cleaning power straight to the top with 3rd Level Rack
Put more than utensils in the Maytag® 3rd Level Rack Wash Zone. With a specialized wash zone and wash arms, get more room for mugs and bowls, this distinct design brings more loading space and cleaning power straight to the top of the dishwasher.**Compared to Maytag® model MDB4949SK.
Cycle Status Indicator Light
The cycle status indicator light on the front of the machine shines blue while washing, red while drying and white when complete.
Get cabinet-ready dishes with Heated Dry
Get cabinet-ready dishes, right from the dishwasher. The Heated Dry option uses heated drying to muscle out moisture. Long and short cycle options let you adjust drying time to get the job done right.
Leak Identification System
The Leak Identification system helps detect most types of leaks. If it identifies a problem, the dishwasher will stop filling, drain the tub and alert you that service is needed.**Will not detect leaks from the water inlet, tub drain connections and hoses or leaks due to cracked tubs or doors.
MaxTub
With the largest capacity tub in the market* at 7.25 cu. ft., the MaxTub gets more dishes done at once, including bulky pots and pans, so there’s no need for a second load.*Based on usable volume.
Scour away stubborn foods with PowerBlast® cycle
The PowerBlast® cycle scours away stubborn foods like egg yolk, peanut butter and even dried-on oatmeal with ease. High-pressure jets, rotating spray arm, and increased water temperatures work together to clear food off dishes—so all you have to do is load them in.
Skip soaking, scrubbing and pre-rinsing with Dual Power Filtration
Skip soaking, scrubbing and pre-rinsing with Maytag engineering that puts an end to pre-work. Industry-exclusive Dual Power Filtration combines 100% microfiltration and a 4-blade stainless steel chopper to filter out then dispose of any food in its path.
