• This oven came as part of the appliance package with my new home build. Things I love: the quick preheat, easy to use controls, the sleek look to this appliance. Unfortunately, I am navigating using this oven and how it is different to my previous convection oven. When using dark baking pans, my rolls, cookies, cheesecake all have burned on the bottom. It is strange because the heating element is up top. I will be switching to light color pans / glass to see if it helps with the uneven heat distribution.

• It was installed about two weeks ago. The calibration is not good. We have tried to do it using an oven thermometer. There seems to be no easy way to do this. It is a hit and miss situation. We are not happy with it at this point.

• Our builder included this oven in our new home. The control panel went out twice within the first two years. Whirlpool did replace under warranty, but the design is problematic. Steam from the oven affects the buttons and the controls are very confusing to understand which oven is off, how to cycle between the two to control functions, and turning off one appears to turn off both. The ovens work, which is why I gave two stars, but I would never buy or recommend these to anyone.

• Bought one year and one month ago. Upper element ‘exploded’ and burnt a hole in it. Replaced it and still not working. Called whirlpool and they said out of 1 year warranty. Terrible warranty! Will not buy whirlpool again.

• When the oven was first delivered, I was worried that it would be a problem for installation. With our house being a little older, the double oven was delivered with wires and we have a plug setup. We had to get an we electrician to complete the install. One we had the ovens up and running, we were able to use them. Very easy operation and very good model. Nothing too high tech. Perfect for us!!

• I have not been able to engage the sabbath mode and I have reached wto whirlpool numerous times and have not been able to reach anyone to help me. At this juncture the day before a major holiday when I am in desperate need of a sabbath mode I am sorry that I did not hang on to my old oven!!!

• My wife used the self cleaning cycle on the old oven and it got so hot it ruined the old oven. It charred the adjacent wood panel and we are lucky it did not start a fire. So the new oven is a slightly updated version of the old oven and it has a self cleaning cycle that we cannot use. Very poor design, so the oven gets a poor rating.

• Beautiful oven haven’t cooked in it yet. My previous whirlpool oven was great, however as with anything, 20 years later I had to replace. Looking forward to great baked holiday meals in my new double oven.

• I bought this to replace a 2008 model of the same oven. The main control board in the old oven went bad and we were unable to obtain a replacement part (no longer manufactured by Whirlpool) - Very disappointing. We've had the new oven for a few weeks and it is working just fine. Particularly like the smooth oven bottoms.

• We have had our double oven for 40 days. I have found that this set is hotter than maybe it should be . If the instructions say cook something on 350 it burns I have to put the oven on 275 in order for items not to burn.

• I bought this oven based on the description on the whirlpool website which claimed that it had (2) different self cleaning options. After it was installed, we found out this oven DOES NOT come with the steam clean option....some false advertising. No refund for the HUGE deception. Makes me think next time we need a new appliance, and right now almost all of our appliances are whirlpool, we will look at different manufacturers

• The major problem is that I do not have serial number with which to register my product. No one can find it anywhere. The AI phone call was insulting, saying the serial number had to be there and that I just needed more patience to find the number. I can not activate the warrenty without the serial number. Nor did I get a manual on how to work the oven.

• Bought a month ago and so far so good. A few features I miss that were on my old double oven (KitchenAid) is that when the timer goes off so does the oven. This one does not shut off automatically. I also don't like that there are only 2 racks per oven. Last oven had 3 each. There's no proofing mode or convection mode like on my old oven but I was in a pinch so those weren't crucial features. Lastly the oven is deep and tall so not always so easy to pull things out as a short person, but definitely doable. I don't love that when I pull out the bottom rack of the top oven it slides downward so if you're not careful it could slide right off and out of the oven onto and the floor. It also pulls out of the wall a little, maybe too heavy for this cabinetry around it that my old oven was inside of. The Sabbath modes are a little less hassle than my last one. What will really make me LOVE this oven is if it last as long as my last one (18-19 years!) and it doesn't need a new motherboard in a few years.

• Our old Whirlpool ovens stopped working in the beginning of February. So we bought new ovens through Home Depot. We used a recommended installer as a contractor who works through Home Depot and the ovens work great!

• Overall, I love this double wall oven. It looks nice and is large. However, you should put a huge warning on the oven to Do Not Use Aluminum/Tin Foil on bottom of oven as it will melt!! Yes, I know you include a How to use pamphlet, but I’ve always put tin foil on all my other ovens and never had it melt and permanently stick on the bottom! Yes, my fault for not reading the pamphlet first.

• This was the only option that the builder offered. I would have preferred the convection model, but would have had to purchase separately and rip this brand new one out - not very cost effect!. HOWEVER I am pleasantly surprised just how functional this double oven actually is! Still have to test it out with baking bread - but fast heat up, quick cooking and delighted so far!

• Our original Whirlpool double oven lasted 17 years so we bought another one and so far it has exceeded our expectations. Perfect fit in the old cabinet space. The temperature is exactly what shows on our digital temperature gauge.

• It was an option that I was able to choose for my new home. I have always wanted a wall oven and I am extremely satisfied with this and having two is even better!!!
