• Bought this washer and dryer in 2019 & worked just fine. Until my husband and I were washing clothes meanwhile the dryer was on. The washer lid was up, when we were loading another batch of laundry (not thinking this would be an issue) The lid exploded and glass flew everywhere!! This could’ve cause serious injuries to my family. Thank the lord everyone is okay. But wow. My husband had cuts on his hands and who knew we have to put the lid down while multi tasking and drying clothes at the same time. Extremely dangerous. Don’t recommend. 0/10

• I bought this washer dryer combo a month ago and I am so impressed with how easy it is to run it.it washes the clothes very clean and clothes never go unbalanced like my old one.plus you can see your clothes through the glass lid..the button panel is simple to read and press in what I need either light or large loads. Cold or hot water and it's so quiet..great for doing late night loads .the dryer is big and dry's the clothes fast .the lint cage is easy to get to.overal this is a great washer dryer combo.

• 0 star!!! I don’t recommend this appliance: the dryer vent gets so hot that it melts all my clothes during drying cicles and the washer never adjusts water level properly to cover the clothes. You will never have clean clothes and they will be damaged by dryer! DO NOT BUY IT!!!!

• I bought the machine through Home Depot in Oct 2019, after second use, the washing machine was broken. Service staff came and found suspension needed to be replaced and had to order the part. The second time they came, but the part they got missed some plastic components. Then on the third appointment day, they called in and said that the new part they got from Whirlpool still missing the plastics , and had to order again. Now I am sitting here with a broken machine, with 3 months past, and still don't know when they will get the correct part. In the meantime, I tried to contact Homedepot and Whirlpool about return or exchange, but Homedepot said it's Whirlpool's responsibility, and Whirlpool said no return, and exchange only if it is unrepairable...But who cares about customer's experience???

• Bought this 2 weeks ago to replace a 13 year old ThinTwin combo which had rust and corrosion. This seems less likely to corrode. Much better finish of metal and lid is not metal but very robust. My "beef" with this appliance is that it was very hard to connect up in small space. Drain line too short to get from bottom of machine where connect is into the wall drain and allow space for a 5'8" regular frame person to get behind this machine, hook it up and to get back out of the closet / recess once hooked up. Took 4 hours of working several options to get this thing installed. I resorted to feeling blindly and a mirror! My arm was barely long enough to get this done. The drain can collapse or crimp if pushed too far back. The pumping action of the machine when draining causes the drain line to thump the wall. Install of recommend 4 prong 240 v plug worked but not a clean install. Semi-ridgid duct provided did not work for me. Had to use the flexible vent line to fit my situation.

• This washing machine is tearing holes in my tshirts and my favorite skirt! I have never had this problem before using this machine. I tried putting fewer dirty clothes in, filling the drum no more than half full. It still happened. Super disappointed.

• I have had this compact set by Whirlpool for a few days and so far it had been amazing. I love that wash cycle times are customizable, and I personally find the washer way quieter than my previous front load Blomberg machine I had. Strange that I keep reading people complaining about this washer being loud because that isn’t the case for me. So far zero cons for this set. Its great looking, efficient and most importantly it does the job that a washer needs to do. CLEAN items! Bonus for the glass lid, it adds extra touch of elegance. Great when this set is bought on sale, otherwise a bit pricey regular price. Hopefully it lasts me many years.

• I have had I have had this washer/dryer for 6 months and I Love it. Unlike my previous washer, it spins getting all of the water out during the spin cycle. No more drying load 3--4x. This appliance is a God Send!

• Stay away from this! Bought it and the first week it started giving problems. Whirlpool has not backed it up. They keep sending repairmen and it still continues with problem. Cycles stop in the middle of wash, lid locks itself and cannot be open for hours and leaves the clothes wet that I have to set to dry twice sometimes even 3 times. I asked for a replacement very early on but they keep sending repair personnel I guess waiting for 1 year warranty to expire. Never again this washer or whirlpool.

• I must admit that I was a little leery of purchasing a washer without an central agitator. I had never used a machine without one before. I am quite pleased with the cleaning results I have achieved thus far. Everything I have put in has come out very clean. I really like the see-through lid and it has a lot of options you can program to customize the washing cycle for every kind of load. I had a very narrow space where my prior washer and dryer were installed and finding an appliance that fit the space was extremely problematic. This unit fit perfectly. I'm content with my purchase.

• Washer: when water shuts off (cold and hot) there is a loud BANG - not acceptable! Which buzzer would you like to hear: washer done/dryer done)? I think most people would answer "dryer" Not so with this product - only washer AND to make that buzzer work one must hold down the "time (-) button for 3 seconds." Washer lid would not stay open. Had to call for repair. Asked repairmen about loud noise when water shuts off - he said "they all do that." I asked how I could return the product - he said "call Whirlpool." This product is not suitable for condos and late night operation. Dryer: I am 65 years and can not open the door without using 2 hands - this too, is not acceptable.

• I bought this machine to replace a full size stacked washer and dryer that was installed on the second floor of my townhouse that vibrated so badly that it cracked the ceiling in my living room. This machine, while small, doesn’t vibrate at all. It works excellent. Clothes come out clean. Dryer works great. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it is very loud.

• This item, purchased at Home Depot, was installed in my condo and has not worked at all, EVER. I bought it about a month ago and even though a repair person was dispatched, of the two needed parts (internal, not external where they could break with installation) Whirlpool told service person that one of them has been backordered for a long time and they have no idea when it will be available! I approached Home Depot and they were hesitant to do anything but a manager took information and told me they might be able to take it back If Whirlpool says OK. This may be a fluke, but just in case DO NOT BUY THIS A CERTAINLY NOT FROM HOME DEPOT!... I EVEN BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY... JOKE! DR. ROBERT WADE, WEST DES MOINES IOWA

• Washer would not spin 5 months after purchase. Warranty repair customer service was terrible. Whirlpool authorized service company was booked 10 days out, then cancelled last minute and rescheduled a week later. I called whirlpool for help getting an earlier appointment and was told “there is no one here who can help you with your problem”. I was told I would receive a call back from a supervisor within 4 hours and I never received that call. Wound up paying out of pocket for a repair that definitely should have been covered under warranty. Poor quality that they do not stand behind, worst customer service experience I have had in a while

• I am so grateful this laundry center fit the tiny space the remodeler had allowed. Even the delivery guy said it was the tightest fit he's had to install in. But it fit, it works - a bit on the loud side - but worth it. I'm using a quilted coverlet as a curtain over the opening to try to muffle the sound, it helps a little. It holds a lot more than you think it would, I can do laundry for the two of us in two loads. I wish the dryer had a de-wrinkle cycle, but overall, I'm happy with the appliance.

• For a small size machine it's surprisingly capable of getting a fair amount of work done in a short amount of time. Dryer is more efficient than expected for its size. Washer appears to get things pretty clean. Have put some pretty dirty/greasy work clothes through it and they came out well. No agitator was a preference because the older ones like this were very hard on clothes in such a small washer but had concern the impeller type would not clean well. Seems fine so far. One drawback is that it's not a very quiet machine so keep your location in mind if you cannot partition it off from common areas.

• I bought this unit for my cabin from SavMart appliance in Wenatchee Wa last July. Not only did the unit fail after 4 loads of wash, i have been waiting for Whirlpool to ship a part to Ladoux Appliance for better part of 4 months now. When I called support they have no clue and asked me to follow-up and get a part number? ....way to own it. Worse yet I have to drive 20 miles to a laundromat. After spending 1400$ you would expect more. I am now looking to sell this one and buy one from a more dependable vendor.

• 3 months ago I moved in to a much smaller home, all on one floor, and the stacked laundry pair seemed to be the perfect answer for me. I'm happy to say that it definitely has been exactly what I needed! It's quiet, works perfectly, and is just the right capacity for me.

• I bought this 3 months ago and it sits unused. It was delivered from what I can tell damaged from the inside out. There is ab indentation that comes from inside out. I tried to reject the delivery but I was told they cannot take it back and I should contact Whirlpool. The delivery crew took pictures and walked away. I've been trying to reach Whirlpool many, many to discuss this but it's impossible wait times. Appliance sits unused since day 1.

• I am thrilled with my purchase. I love my whirlpool washer and dryer. It does take smaller loads cause it’s 24 inch but I have a small house but it works fantastic. I wish I had bought it years ago. Luckily I was able to get it From Walmart using the Affirm credit plan. It’s not only great working, but it looks fantastic and I love the glass top everybody who sees things it’s wonderful. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

• Size is perfect. I wish there were more quality options out there than this one and the GE. Had I known the spin cycle was going to be so loud, sounds like a small plane is getting ready to land. I definitely would've went with the other brand. The dryer door is incredibly difficult to open however, the Lint basket has easy access. I'm still trying to figure out how to Remove the lint basket for the washing machine. Does a decent job washing clothes - size is amazing - quality subpar, but not a lot of choices out there to fit in small spaces.

• I bought a few of these units for a rental house that I was renovating. Eight months after purchase. the tenant called saying the dryer was broken. Very unusual repair. The drum was twisted and bent. I called the Whirpool service. They provided excellent customer service and repaired the dryer to like new condition.

• I am very disappointed in this appliance. Whoever designed where the fabric softner is to be added never tried filling 4 small holes with the placement of the holes moving so that on some spots you are unable to even see the holes. Also the dryer basically only has one setting that you use for almost everything which is "less dry". The washer makes a sound when the wash is sone but the dryer does not. Therefore if you are not near the dryer when it stops, you items come out very wrinkled. How I wish I did not trade in my old washer. Question: CAN I SOMEHOW MAKE THE HOLES LARGER FOR THE FABRIC SOFTNER TO GO DOWN?
