I purchased a washer and dryer combo on 11/18 and was delivered on 11/26. 5 weeks later, the washer broke down and a part needed to be ordered before it could be repaired.I am a chronically ill person with severe allergies and use my washer daily. Whirlpool refused to replace my washer and insisted i wait til the part comes in the repair the other one. All that time, there were wet clothes trapped in the washer and mold started to grow. The washer is now completely ruined for me because i me risking my life to even clean the washer as mold sends me into anaphylaxis. Why the warranty if so extremely poor accomodations and customer service. DO not recommend purchasing from whirlpool!

This is the best. I am obsessed with my new washer. It is extremely quite. It fits well in my laundry room and it works fast at cleaning my clothes with many washing options.

We moved our laundry upstairs and it is so much more convenient! The washer and dryer work very well and we are very pleased.

I bought this machine a few months ago. Mostly this machine has done a fine job cleaning my clothes. I just run a normal cycle or sometimes quick wash and play with my temperature. Today my clothes were soaking wet after running a cold water wash on medium spin level. So I decided to use the Drain and Soin cycle for the first time. I have a pair of shorts, a little tank top, and a fleece sweatshirt in there. I set to “fast” and hit go with a :17min spin cycle. It is spinning slow, switching directions every 6 seconds, and not getting rid of any of the water. The sweatshirt continues to be full of water. What gives?? I’m so mad and wasting energy. I have run this twice now. It never speeds up. What is the point of this???

I had this washer delivered on January 10th, and today is March 7th. My washer has been broke down for 3 weeks. It stopped extracting and draining with wet clothes locked inside. Whirlpool has been responsive, however it did take about a week and a half for appliance repair to come and make the assessment that the drain pump died and we needed a new one. He ordered the part and we are still waiting for it at this time. We really expected better quality from Whirlpool. I would also have appreciated info in the owner's guide about operating it. They went into great detail on how to put soap in the cup, but nothing whatsoever on actually operating it.

So far, so great! We replaced our 17 year old washing machine with a new Whirlpool. Boy, lots of updates and features our old washer did not have. Most of our appliances are Whirlpool. Micro wave, stove, dishwasher. Great quality and value across the board!

We bought the washer in late November took delivery on December 22, I loved it till in February I went to wash a load, it worked till time to spin. It would barely spin, for 45 minutes it kept spinning. I stopped the machine. After that it never worked again. Called Whirlpool service and they got us in touch with someone to come out and check it out. The control panel died, and the control lock locked and wouldn't unlock. So almost 2 months later, the parts came in and hopefully it will work again. I'm not a happy camper. Our last Whirlpool washer and dryer lasted us 22 years.. No problems, which is why we went back with Whirlpool again.

I received for free to exchange for my honest review. The washer is full loaded, I can wash it with my full basket of clothes. It has many functions for me to choose and it sounds not too noisy. It is a saver energy and electricity for me. It is easy to use for all people, especially for old people. Really impressive. Highly recommended

Replaced our 19 year old Duet set and I'm still getting used to the new ones. I like the simplicity of many of the features, but not like the on/off or the start. It's too easy to brush by/brush over the pad and it turns on/off. Starting the machine - while easy - takes a moment of keeping your finger on the control for the machine to engage. Also, did you know a CAT can turn them on/off?! Yes, really! Ours is smart enough to have figured it out. He likes the sound so will gently touch the controller just to hear it. Many options out there for pedestals and a few I wish I'd seen before purchasing the expensive brand-named ones. Maybe Whirlpool could offer two options of pedestals - one with drawers one that's just open and allows for laundry baskets to slide in.

I recently purchased this washing machine. It replaced a previous Whirlpool washing machine that lasted over 17 years with no issues. There are currently several issues with the current washing machine. The door is somewhat difficult to close. The door scraps the top of the laundry basket; therefore, the bottom of the door sits lower to the ground than my previous washer. Each time I have touched the power button to turn on the washer, it says that I need to reset it, and I have to hold the button for 10 sections. Excess water accumulates in the detergent drawer, and I have taken out the drawer and emptied the water. The spin cycle has been noisy.

I’m very happy with my purchase, I am having a little problem with it unbalancing

I bought this washer 2 months ago. The first unit delivered would not drain. The second unit failed with the outer hub completely separating. Luckily, there was no water in the machine otherwise my home would have been flooded.

Talk about bang for your buck! Absolutely wonderful product. Can't say anything bad about it.

The washer digital screen is too complicated The drain spinning of the washer is too weak. Must use the spin and drain again to try and get the washed load drained enough to be able to put it in the dryer or the washed load will take hours to dry and will come out smelly. Dissappinted

I bought his washer a couple of weeks ago. It has so many fabulous features. It fits my needs and lifestyle. Recommend to others!

Already had a door closure fault F5E2. 6-7 loads then I got this fault. Said I needed a technician. I unplugged the washer waited 5 min, plugged it back in. Fault went away. The door latch is loose. Not sure if it’s supposed to be or not? Will it be back?

I was looking for a washer/dryer that wasn't a 'smart' appliance. I had very few to pick from. I replaced my old Whirlpool (Duet - which I loved) washer/dryer with a new Whirlpool set. To start with they were 2" taller...so I had to dismantle and rebuild my laundry room layout to accommodate them (really ticked us off!), raising countertops and cabinets wasn't easy! To the actual products...everything takes so much more time, and 'energy' so how it got this energy star rating is beyond me. The water level doesn't always wet everything. A colossal waste of a purchase. They DON'T make things the way they used to!

I wasn’t sure about a front load washer, but found one of the benefits is that for shorter people, they don’t have trouble reaching down into the washer. All the clothing is at a low height and reachable. I just make sure to leave the door open after I’m done washing, to let all the water and moisture inside dry out. This has all the features I need, and I’m glad it has a quick wash feature. It’s useful when I need to quickly wash something before going out or if it’s not super dirty. I don’t think the controls are too bad. It’s just a few button presses or holds to turn it on and start. It’s not as simple as older washers, though. One downside is that it’s very heavy and bulkier than my old washer. I don’t need to move it often, and I have enough space, but I think it’s something that could be improved. Overall, I think it’s a fine front load washer that does all I need it to.

I was happy to purchase a Whirlpool product. I was looking for Made in America. This is my first time for a new Whirlpool washer. For your information, the literature for the use of this washer could be written much better. Not everyone is techie. Not everyone uses a computer. Not everyone will use the internet for more information. Some of the verbiage for permanent press was not easily recognizable. I think now it is called wrinkle control. The machine is very nice if you have an EASY touch. Recommend that a light touch is major in running this machine and should be noted in instructions. Once you figure it out you are good.

I bought this less than a month ago, and everything was working great, but then it started giving a F9E1 error code about the drain pump. So I had to go to the Whirlpool website to look up the troubleshooting on it. I wasn't pleased that it was already having an issue; however, once I was able to drain the washer, which took a while, I was able to open the door and found that a sock had been wedged in between the door seal over the drain holes. Once I removed that, it drained fine. Hoping no other issues come up, and wondering if this happens frequently with items getting in front of the door seal and drain holes. My old Whirlpool had the drain holes, but not in door seal/bellows, and never had any issues for 20 years. They may want to rethink this design in the future.

Love this washer! Clothes come out smelling extremely fresh and there are settings for anything you need to wash. Super customizable for what you’re trying to wash. Not very loud and has a sound that plays to let you know when it’s done. Only complaint is I wish it was a little bigger but my clothes haven’t felt this clean in months!

I’m short statured and closer to 80 years old than I like. I needed a front load washer and dryer on pedestals. I’m partial to white, too. I love all the options on both units. And they are perfect for me.

I've had this machine and the matching dryer for 12 days, and I am very happy with it! I've had 3 different front load washers before this, and this machine is easily the best one I've ever had! Delivery was fantastic, very easy to install, I love the options and display, and it even has pump filter access! It was even able to wash away all the stains that my old Samsung could not. Only concerns I have on this are on pretty much all front loaders (smell issues, vibration etc), but I just leave the door open in between cycles and so far so good. Despite being on the 2nd floor of my house, I've had no problems with vibration or noise. Very satisfied with this machine!
