  • We bought the washer and the dryer together, they look amazing, the usage of the different cycle is very easy it really intuitive and I like that, they’re are not that loud if you close the door we don’t really hear them, thinking about the fact that our house has 816 foot square and we’re on the same level. The door of the dryer is a little bit hard to close but I think it is normal, it is only the little plastic thing to hold the door closed. Everything goes like it should the dryer dry really well, we changed these because we want to do lavable diapers and we didn’t start yet.. we still have to discover the different settings but we are satisfied

  • First load came out with some sort of dirt or soap residue. Took Pics sent to dealer tried another load same thing agitator doesn’t toss the clothes. Dealer suggested using 1/2 as much soap as on bottle warm water deep cycle and extra rinse. Kinda defeats the purpose energy saving paid 200.00 more for a Maytag front loader.

  • This washer is really good and I am very impressed. My clothes are clean and with a great smell after using it. I love all the great features, specially the active one, since I work out a lot and have a bunch of sweaty clothes afterwords. The water usage is very good because this washer has a sensor and is great do not use more water then we should. The noise level is great and is very quiet to be honest. I am very happy with this washer and also with the build in faucet when I need to rinse something quick.

  • The installation of this washer was super easy. It took 15 mins to complete the entire setup. As a mom of two little ones, I totally love this washer that comes with multiple options of washing. Jeans, Heavyduty, whites, colors, quickwash, activewear, delicates etc. just turn the settings wheel with the option that fits the bill and you are all set. It doesnt make much noise even for heavy duty making it super comfortable to use at all times. Unlike other washing machines, both the water and energy consumption were very less. Best part the size is big enough to wash even the bigger comforters. Every household needs this.

  • I've only had this set for two weeks and I'm not disappointed with my purchase...at all!! The water is a bit louder while it's filling up than my last washer but it's not for a long time. I have a cal-king comforter that I normally have to take to the laundromat, it fit into this washer with no problem or rocking during the spin cycle. It has a big agitator/drum. Very happy with this purchase and the rep who set up my warranty plan had wonderful customer service. I must've watched at least three loads throught the window lol!

  • Really surprised to see how well this washing machine performs. Does a great job cleaning our clothes and much better then the older previous model. I’m glad I made the choice to buy Whirlpool. !

    Bobbby312/17/2025 07:15 AM

  • I appreciate the compact design of this washer and dryer, which fits seamlessly in my laundry room. It offers ample interior space to accommodate large bedding and bulk loads, a significant advantage for a family of four. The noise level is minimal and energy efficiency. Durability is high and cleaning performance is great!! Absolutely love this washer.

  • I bought this last week and I hate it. You have no control over being able to stop it and add an item and restart it because it starts over at the beginning of the cycle. Because you have no control over the water level you don't know exactly how much detergent to use. It doesn't agitate the clothes very much. You can't stop it and rearrange the items to get it back in balance then restart it because it starts at the beginning of the cycle again. This is the worst washer I've ever owned. Sadly, most of the washers produced now operate in the same way. I don't know what kind of mind designs washers now but it doesn't make practical decisions.

  • Got this washer which I am loving. I prefer a top loading washer with agitator so this was perfect! I was replacing my Maytag top load washer because it was making a loud grinding noise and couldn’t figure out the warranty. I liked that washer too so I was excited to try a different brand and compare apples to apples. First, the Whirlpool delivery was great! They removed my old washer and installed the new one and even made sure all tubing was secure. As for the size, I was a little concerned because it looked a bit more shallow than my previous washer, but I actually prefer it because I am 5’4” and the first one was hard to reach to get all clothes on the bottom. This one being a little more shallow is a lot easier to get everything out. Performance- this has been so great! Clothes are super clean and fresh. The simple design (knob plus buttons) makes it very easy to adjust the settings for your loads to your liking. There is a deep water setting, and an option for 30 min pre soak if you need it. Simple, easy to use, and effective! Highly recommend.

  • Overall, this Whirlpool Impeller washer works pretty well with a good load capacity, but is loud and seems to use a lot of water, even with its sensor technology. There are plenty of options for your laundry needs and the unique glass lid allows you to actually see how well the washer is performing. The water flows into the unit like a waterfall, after the washer uses its sensors to determine the adequate amount of water necessary for the load. The washer is extremely loud during the washing cycle and while sensing and switching between cycles, while the spin cycle itself is ironically the quietest cycle (unlike what I'm used to). Even with the sensors, it seems like this unit wasn't as water efficient as I'd hoped, since it fills and drains a few times throughout the washing (but it might just seem that way). It was pretty stable and didn't wobble much during the spin cycle, even with a large bulky load of King size sheets with thick child-size blankets and towels. Overall, very nice washer and even better with the laundry room door shut to help muffle the noise.

  • I bought this washer about, 3 years ago when I moved into my new house, I’ve had to get it serviced twice for the same issue. Faulty drain pump. I’ve bought two new pumps so far each lasted a year, and I recently started noticing water on the underside again for a third time. (The warranty expired about a month before the first failure go figure). This is not a good model due to faulty expensive parts, which is sad cause I like the brand. I Should’ve bought a new washer the first time. The cost of the faulty parts and the repair is way too much and they may very well be planned to fail based on the fact each has lasted a year from brand new.

  • Used maybe 4x Makes a A violent grinding sound. Called for repair Lady on the phone told me new machines are noisier. After repeated attempts to call I finally got someone who would issue a warranty work repair, Of course, no such warranty people in my area. Had to wait again, Finally got someone to come out sent in the part numbers we needed a whole new transmission have yet to hear from whirlpool I’m going on a month without being able to use my machine. Call customer service about the repair issue. They said that someone would call me within 24 to 48 hours. It’s been going on four days . Select a different brand, especially if you live in a rural area.

  • This is the best washer I have ever owned. I bought it as a scratch and dent with no research done prior. When I read the reviews I almost returned it. Thankfully I didnt because its the best washer I have ever owned. My clothes have never been cleaner and with such minimal water. I have a large family and do a ton of laundry. My water bill is less and my clothes are super clean and soft. Im not sure why people say its loud. It not loud. It does make regular washer noise. Thats it. The fabric softener dispenser works so great. I couldnt love this machine anymore then I do, dont believe the other reviews, you will not regret purchasing this washer.

    Sabina05/04/2026 12:47 AM

  • So I really wanted to give this a very thorough review. I can’t give this a five star review but I can do 92 out of 100. I mean, this is a washer that you’re going to be putting all of your clothes in and if you stop and think about it how much money do you spend on your clothing? Some of us have dress shirts, delicates formal attire, relaxing attire but if you put a dollar value on just what you’re throwing into the washer, I guarantee every load they’re doing is at least a couple hundred dollars. Some of the things that you throw in the washer depending on who you are might be over $1000 a load. So for that reason, I can’t just give a quick review on this. The main reason I cannot give this a five star review is primarily because I don’t like how you add the detergent into the washer. I don’t always use HE detergent. Sometimes I still use the powder stuff because I feel like it cleans more thoroughly penetrates deeper into the clothing and I’m not paying for water like what you do when you buy HE detergent. If you are a person who likes to add the detergent first, and then let it soak and dissipate throughout the water evenly than this washer unfortunately does not allow you to do that from what I can see. It doesn’t allow you to add the detergent and then let the detergent dissipate into the water because what happens is when you turn it on Even if you add water yourself during the sensing cycle, it will detect that there’s water in there and it will drain your detergent water out of the washer so essentially you’re throwing away your detergent. I don’t like that. What I will say is even though this does not have the traditional agitator in the top this washer does a phenomenal job about turning the clothes over in the washer a lot I sat there and watched the washer the one day for a solid 15 minutes and it continuously is moving All of the laundry and not just one small section. It is moving each piece individually of the next, the great thing about that is the more movement that each piece of laundry gets the more the dirt is being pulled out of the fabric because it is continuously being beaten with the water jets. Each jet seems as though it is deeply penetrating into the clothing and cleaning it extremely thoroughly. So here are the pros and cons of this washing machine. The pros of this washing machine is that it does a phenol phenomenon job of deeply cleaning each piece of laundry that you put into the washer. It is constantly moving each item around the basket efficiently and allowing the jets to cleanse the clothing. Another pro of this is it uses less water Than a traditional top load washer I know for sure that I’m using far less water on this compared to my other washer, I looked at my water consumption for last month versus the water consumption for this month and I noticed there was a sizable difference. I believe a traditional top loader uses roughly 45 gallons of water versus this is probably using less than half of that so it is hyper energy efficient. Another pro of this is the washer itself is relatively quiet at first if you put stuff in and it is imbalanced it will shake, but if it is completely balanced, you don’t even really notice that it’s on. It runs at a very low decibel level. I would also say for energy consumption that this is a very well-made product because the fact that it is spinning so much faster during the rinse and spin cycle my clothes are coming out far less wet than in a traditional top loader. I’ve also noticed that when I throw it into the dryer, I no longer have to dry it for more than 30 minutes all of my clothes regardless of the size of the load that I do wash are coming out of the dryer within 30 Minutes Consistently dry. So that is another energy, saving measure that whirlpool has implemented into this washing machine that is beneficial to the consumer. I’d be willing to bet that because of its efficiency and drying the clothes just in the washer alone that it has saved me a several kilowatts on my electric bill so I’m saving money there also. Another benefit of this is the soaking cycle and all of the different options. Available to wash the clothes. I noticed that when I put it on the white cycle that my whites are actually indeed coming out wider, I’ve noticed on the color cycle that it is shooting the jets into the clothing Better and not making the clothing come out, lighter in the color shades meaning that my color seem to be sticking to the clothing better than they were in my previous machine so that means that the clothing is going to last me longer and look newer for a longer period of time. Another pro of this is when you’re washing the clothing if you’re using the soap cycle and then you go in and you look at the water. It is very dirty far dirtier than any of my other washing machines I’ve had in the past which means that this washer is Deep cleaning your clothes extremely well because when you look at the water, it looks disgusting and then you can see that it drains it out and then adds fresh water, drains it out and then adds new fresh water, but still, even though it’s adding water and different cycles, you’re still using far less than a traditional top load washer. The final pro is the fact that it has a stainless steel tub compared to plastic or even porcelain this will stand the test of time much longer and be more gentle on your expensive clothing as well as your delicates because if you have a plastic tub and you get a single scratch in there, all your clothes are gonna move along that jagged edge of the plastic and it will tear your expensive clothing during the wash cycle, but because this has a stainless steel tub this will continue to deep clean while simultaneously babying those items. The only con of this washing machine I would say are if you need to use dry detergent, you’re gonna have to add only a little bit of water at first to get it to go underneath the agitator down into the bottom of the drum if you add too much it senses that there is Water in the tub and it drains it. So in summation sorry about the long review I wanted to give a true insight from a consumer perspective at what would be perceived a more expensive purchase. I did not want to give a generic four star works great clean clothes boring simplistic review. I wanted to give a very detailed well composed review for those people who are actively seeking detailed information, which is hard to find. This washer would be perfect for a large household or even a small household. It would be great for a family because it’s going to save you money on water, money on electricity and most importantly time because in my house the longest part of doing the laundry is waiting for all the clothes to dry. However, with this, you’re not gonna have a problem because the washer is using less water and it’s spinning significantly faster so the clothes are coming out damp instead of wet, so that means that your dry time is almost the exact same time as the wash time which means you’re gonna get done with doing your laundry much faster. That in itself alone is absolute worth every penny. Sorry again for the long review, but I really wanted to truly take my time and give as much detailed and useful information as I possibly could because this is not a normal every day item purchase and this is something that when you purchase it, you’re gonna be using it for many years to come and then when you couple the fact of how much you spend on your clothes and you’re trusting that machine to not only clean them but keep them safe. I think that giving a basic review of just saying cleans well great product I would recommend is doing this company a service. I appreciate being given the opportunity of reviewing these Items and I want to make sure that any consumer who is really looking for a real review and get detailed information is able to find this review to help guide them in the correct purchase. I would definitely recommend this without question or hesitation. Whirlpool has been and continues to be a great product and a leader in the industry and it shows very clearly in the washer and dryer that I received

  • I love my Whirlpool top load washer! The built-in faucet is super handy for prewashing, and the Presoak Option makes soaking and washing a breeze. The 4.6 cu. ft. capacity is perfect for bulky items, and I can easily check on my laundry through the soft-close glass lid. The Deep Water Wash Option is great for extra cleaning power, and the Quick Wash cycle gets my small loads done in just 30 minutes. Plus, I never have to worry about lingering detergent thanks to the extra rinse feature!

  • I bought this washer specifically because it is top load, to take full large loads, thought was a good reliable brand. Within 21 months needed repair, something about a faulty control board. Replaced, now at 2.5 years, (4-5 months later) its something about a faulty lid lock and no longer under warranty. RIDICULOUS, a washer that only lasts 2 years, and they would not allow me to purchase an extended warranty after the first repair. They said I had to purchase within 90 days of initial purchase.

  • Model: WTW5025Sw0 Serial #:CE04 0035U Unfortunately we bought a Whirlpool and are not at all satisfied with our laundry results for the price we paid. The start button needs to be pressed for up to 30 seconds then it "senses" for several minutes before dry spinning the clothes. When the water runs, it only fills the tubs with a bit of water. Then the wash (haha) cycle moves the clothes back and forth a bit. After several minutes the water drains, meanwhile the top layer of clothes have remained dry. There is no rinse cycle as such, just 20 minutes of shigh speed spin with the occasional squirt of water. No I would not recommend this piece of crap to anyone. Luckily we bought it at Costco and it will definitely be going back.

  • The selector has options that make sense, and i appreciate that because i never really knew what options to use for towels on my old Kenmore.. like doesn't everyone wash towels? Ha. The see through lid is appreciated.. apparently the government doesn't want me to open the washer while it's running.. but actually being able to see that's going on in there is a good compromise. It definitely has an aggressive spin, and the clothes come out almost dry. I'm sure this saves me money on running the dryer.. but it does rough up the clothes a bit in the process.

    Nathan05/12/2025 02:17 AM

  • This dryer is efficient and does a great job with moisture sensing—clothes come out perfectly dry without being overcooked. I love how it continues to spin until you open the door even after the heat has turned off so that the wrinkles won’t be crazy. It also has a good capacity, making it easy to dry large and I always stuff my washer and dryer with more than they can handle!

    kendraleigh28_926402/27/2025 06:48 PM

  • The Whirlpool 4.5 Cu. Ft. Top Load Agitator Washer with Built-In Faucet has been a reliable and efficient addition to my laundry routine. Its cleaning performance is consistently strong, handling both everyday loads and more heavily soiled items with ease, and the built-in faucet is a thoughtful feature for quick pre-treating. I’ve been pleased with its energy efficiency, which seems to strike a good balance between performance and utility savings. While it does use a bit more water than some high-efficiency models, the water usage still feels reasonable considering how thoroughly it cleans. The noise level during spin cycles is a bit louder than I expected, though not disruptive enough to be a dealbreaker. Overall, it feels sturdy and well-made, and the durability gives me confidence that it will hold up well over time. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done very well and has proven to be a dependable choice.

  • I've had this machine for about 3 weeks now. I had a Whirlpool Cabrio before and loved it. It was the greatest machine! This new one is noisy and not easy to use. I have a large home and I can hear it in the fartherest room from the laundry room! When it is done running, you manually have to turn it off. It should turn off when the lid is opened when on done. No end signal on it either. I guess you pay over a $1000 dollars to get that feature. Since all that I looked at have cheapened and cost more, I will have to get used to this one. At this point, not too happy, but that's life and sign of the times we live in.

  • I had another whirlpool washer that I have been using for 15+ years that finally gave up. I'm excited to use this new washer and hoping it will hold up through time just like my other one. So far, it's been working well, although a bit noisy. My clothes come out fresh and clean! I'm happy with this new washer! Will update if there are any problems!

    ol32_903203/23/2025 04:50 AM

  • So i don’t love it as much as i thought i would. It doesn’t really fill with enough water unless you put it in deep fill so i feel like the clothes don’t get saturated. Also i doesn’t have a fabric softener compartment so they recommend a downy ball …. But overall i still think it’s a decent washer it does hold alot of clothes

    courtneyrai_beauty_832004/02/2025 11:07 AM

  • Doesn’t wash clothes. Doesn’t fill with enough water to even cover clothes. Clothes left with residue on them. Very unhappy. If there is a blanket or a towel in there, it turns into a saucer covering the entire barrel of the washing machine
