• Glad to have a new dryer! I like the dryer. Still getting used to the settings. Takes a bit longer to dry the clothes than my old Samsung. Hope it lasts longer than my last dryer.

• We’ve only had this dryer a few weeks, but I’ve been extremely happy so far. The controls are easy to navigate and there are lots of options. I’m still trying different settings to get the most efficient drying times. The inside is big, but not difficult to reach items in the back for a small person like myself. Even with a big load, the clothes tumble easily and don’t get tangled up like in our old GE large capacity dryer. The lint trap is nice and big and easy to clean. I haven’t had need to use the internet remote, but nice that it’s an option. Wash day is now no longer a chore with my Whirlpool washer and dryer! We also appreciate that they were made in America, which is the biggest reason my husband and I looked at them when we decided to buy.

• First of all there is a huge difference in height when this is paired with a washer. Yes you can raise the legs but then you have this unappealing look on the bottom and even when raised all the way and washer lowered they don’t match. There is also a huge confusion around a bottom panel that covers the legs which is displayed at some stores and doesn’t come with the dryer. Functions overall are just alright. Takes a long time to dry and when using the eco option some of the clothes come out still wet. So I will be returning mine.

• It took a while to get used to. I just want to push "ON" and "START" and walk away. However, the dryer defaults are the good for the environment but does not dry my clothes settings, so I had to push a lot of buttons to put it in the Get it Done mode. The manual said it will remember my last settings. It does not. However, you can use the WiFi app on your phone to create a "favorite" setting. So, now its "ON" "Favorite" "Start" to get going. Remember to hold start 3 seconds or it won't start. It then performs its function and gets the clothes dry. We use sensor dry. As could be expected, if you put a big towel in with a lot of light things like t-shirts, the towel will still be damp while everything else is dry.

• Bought this dryer in October of 2020 and it completely died today - like smoking and then stopped working! Luckily I was near by and unplugged the dryer before a fire could start. You would think a dryer that costs $1000.00 would last longer than 37 months but apparently not!

• Dryer worked for one day and then the gas valve coil went bad. Whirlpool factory service couldn't come and look at it for 3 or more weeks. As it was a gift to my daughter and she has a family of kids, I couldn't wait that long..... so I fixed it at my own expense.

• My last dryer died after more than 20 years of service. I really liked the feature of less dry or more dry on it. That way if you wanted to iron something, you put less dry and it was perfect for ironing. For other items you put more dry and things came out perfectly dry. This new dryer doesn’t have that feature and I have to keep running it again because things are still damp. The problem is the dryer thinks it’s dry enough and keeps turning off.

• This dryer is leaking gas and caused my little one to get sick and Whirlpool refuses to replace it when it’s only 2 months old. Terrible customer service for the issue that is going on with it.

• We bought this dryer to replace our dead one and so far it works just fine. Our issue is, why does it need to have so many options for cycles? Our old dryer was so simple. Put the clothes in, set a drying time and you were done. Now there are a myriad of options, 95% of which we will never use. Seems like a way to add to the price without necessarily adding value.

• Quick dry times. Read instructions carefully to learn proper options for drying. Little difficult to connect the dryer to wi-fi but once set up the Whirlpool app works great. Good capacity. Please be aware that this dryer has 1/2 inch gas line and if you replacing a dryer with a different size, you need to have the 1/2 inch valve ready for the installer to do the hook up. But, they won't wait when you get it from the store or come back again to install. I needed to call my handyman to change the valve and hoop up the dryer.

• Bought as the matching unit to a washer. Hookup was straightforward, and happy to have a gas-fired dryer again. Getting used to the hamper-style door which needs the same chrome leading edge as the matching washer. A minor detail. Has a green leaf icon on the LCD screen. Turn this feature off----it tries to dry the load without heat! It also has the steam feature which requires a separate water supply line. I may connect this in the future. Looking forward to a decade or more of reliable service.

• Was living without a dryer for over a month (no bueno, do not recommend) and when i got the delivery of this dryer, I was thrilled. I enjoy that it is connected to wifi and will tell me when a load is done (minimizing idle time when I am on a roll). One and only negative that I can mention is that the lint trap is wonky and it does not capture ALL the lint. I have a feeling I will need to step up my dryer vent cleaning protocol going forward. It dries very well! And was a good value.

• I'm drying the same clothes and same load amount, and using the normal settings. At the end of very long cycles the clothes are still slightly damp at the end.

• We purchased matching washer and gas dryer. Washing machine arrived damaged, was rejected, resulting in a week delay for new machine. Dryer was installed, but we noticed a gas smell and contacted retailer. It took three tech visits over the course of a week to finally identify a gas valve leak in the appliance. A new valve was ordered, delaying use of the dryer for another two weeks. We’ll rate the new dryer’s performance once it can safely operate.

• Dries well and dies the job. But occasionally the dryer will not turn on and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. Control buttons are touch sensitive and do not respond sometimes and this happens right when you need it. I would recommend getting the knob type controls if they still make those. I will most likely talk to Costco customer service and see if this can be swapped.

• Nothing complicated here! Easy to navigate manual (unlike some!)...clothes are completely dried, minimal if any wrinkles. My only complaint is that the top is not flat but curves downward, as does my new washer, which means clothes roll off the tops of the machine...do not fold anything and leave it on top of the dryer...it will be on the floor when you return!!
