  • I’ve been really impressed with this Whirlpool dryer so far. The 7.0 cu. ft. capacity is perfect for handling everything from everyday laundry to bulkier items like bedding and towels without needing multiple cycles. Clothes come out evenly dried, and I love that the adaptive dry sensor automatically stops the cycle when everything is actually dry, it helps prevent overheating and shrinking. The quick dry option is great when I just need to get a small load done fast, and the wrinkle assist feature is a nice bonus because it keeps clothes tumbling after the cycle ends so they don’t sit and crease if I can’t grab them right away. It’s simple to use, runs quietly, and gets the job done efficiently without a lot of complicated settings. If you’re looking for a dependable, no-fuss dryer that dries clothes well and protects fabrics, this is a solid choice. It is the right size for our laundry room which makes it a plus for me! Oh and don't forget the light inside! I can see if I left anything in there, like those sneaky socks!

  • This Whirlpool dryer gets my clothes dry in the first run. With options for type of load, heat level, and even time running, it's perfect for whatever needs dried. My husband says he gets scratched on the metal latch for the door while loading and unloading, but I don't. Still, it's something to be cautious of. Otherwise, we are satisfied with how the dryer functions. Plus, I have noticed, even if the clothes have been sitting in the dryer for a few hours, when I remove them, some of the clothes are still warm - this shows great heat retention, for the clothes and not the whole house.

  • The Whirlpool dryer with sensor technology has been a great addition to our laundry setup. It holds a large load of clothes with ease and offers plenty of drying options to fit whatever you need. The sensor function is a big plus—it automatically adjusts the drying time so clothes come out perfectly dry without over-drying. I also love the wrinkle-reducing setting, which keeps clothes looking fresh right out of the dryer. There is a light in the dryer that I never knew I needed until now!

  • I love the auto sensing feature. It drys the clothes quickly and efficiently. The dryer is quite large and can fit a lot of clothing and even bedding. The light in the back of the dryer is a great add.

  • I’m really happy with this Whirlpool dryer. The 7.0 cu. ft. size is perfect for handling everything from everyday clothes to large loads like bedding and towels. The Auto Sensing feature is wonderful—it helps prevent over-drying and keeps clothes feeling soft and fresh. It’s easy to use, runs efficiently, and makes laundry so much easier. A great, reliable choice!

  • Got this dryer less than 2 weeks ago(the one I wanted wasn't in stock so I accepted this one for the same price). It puts out no heat so it takes AT LEAST two 90minute cycles to actually get laundry dry. The dryer stays ice cold inside. I've done everything from clearing the ducts(which had almost no lint) and going through the fuse panel. It's perfectly level as well. So disappointed.

  • We are super happy with this new whirlpool dryer. It has a large wide opening, making loading and unloading clothes easy. There’s an automatic light, which is helpful to see way in the back. The door does have to be shut for the dryer to turn on which makes complete sense, but we had to give it a little shove to make sure the door was latched so the dryer would engage and turn on. Not a big deal at all, but it took us a minute to figure out why the dryer wouldn’t start. This seems to dry our clothes quickly and efficiently. I appreciate all the different options for heat settings and timed dry options. The long filter seems to do a good job trapping lint, and the random objects my children seem to leave in their pockets. I miss having a countdown timer on the display.

  • I’ve been using the Whirlpool top-load washer with the 2-in-1 removable agitator and the Whirlpool 7.0 cu. ft. electric dryer for my daily laundry, and I’m honestly so happy with them. The Adaptive Dry feature really works. I used to have trouble with clothes coming out still a little damp, but this dryer actually adjusts the time and heat so everything dries evenly. I’ve done towels, bedding, kids’ clothes—everything comes out soft and fully dry. It’s also quick, which saves me time when I’m doing multiple loads.

  • My old Whirlpool dryer has run its last run. I chose this dryer because Whirlpool appliances seem to last the longest for me. This dryer is easy to use and the fact that it is more quieter than my previous dryer is a plus. I like the auto-sensing of the dampness of the clothes and the signal when it's done. To keep the clothes still warm even when you forget to check on them when the signal goes off, it will do a small start-up by itself to warm up the clothes again. I thought that was pretty neat, because no one wants to put on cold clothes as soon as they come out of the dryer. Also, there is a light in the dryer, just in case you are doing laundry in the dark.

    Trish E01/31/2026 06:59 AM

  • I really like the size of this dryer. It fits a lot of clothes or bulky items like a comforter. The autosensing is a great feature and avoids over or under drying your clothes. The light in the dryer is an added perk!

  • Works GREAT, Love this dryer. It's roomy, it is simple, and it does very large loads with ease, Great tumble feature at the end of a cycle that helps it not wrinkle the clothing, Nice light, I like the door that opens down to catch any clothes that might drop while you're loading the dryer. The lint tray is easy to pull out and return. Lint is easy to remove. Couldn't be happier. I think the chances are very good that it will be a work horse for years to come.

    nhip14_235909/08/2025 02:01 PM

  • As with the washer this is a very basic dryer compared to my old one, but that is not necessarily a bad thing! I haven’t used it enough to determine if its efficiency is better than my last one. The capacity is fairly large for a dryer of its size and it seems to be fairly durable as well. Again the noise level is pretty loud and can be very shaky when in use, the buzzer for letting us know when the load is done is also quite annoying and loud.

    victorialyneee_776410/01/2025 12:42 PM

  • The Whirlpool dryer is efficient and easy to use. It heats up quickly and dries clothes thoroughly, even with larger loads like blankets and towels. I like that it offers multiple settings, so you can choose from quick dry, delicate, or heavy duty depending on what you need.

    fernandas272_382608/16/2025 07:17 AM

  • I use this brand for all my kitchen appliances, including the washing machine and dryer, because we trust it and it's very durable. The dryer runs very quietly, without making any noise, and it's energy efficient.

    thanhh16_435112/25/2025 04:37 AM

  • I've had this 9 days. I like it better than the one it replaced, but the jury is still out on the sensor feature. I have had that feature on an old GE dryer that worked perfectly for years, so I was spoiled. I'm still working with this one to decide if I'll keep depending on it or setting my own timed drying. Though I didn't see it in anything I looked at before buying, it does have a light in the drum, which I like for removing clothes. The chime isn't loud at all, and might not be discerned above all the other similar chimes from appliances in my kitchen. But it does have the feature available to have the contents tumbled from time to time even after completing the cycle.

  • This dryer has been a great addition to our home appliances.

    Deb1610/14/2025 06:03 AM

  • Things to know & Love about the dryer #1 LARGE Door opens down, so no clothing falls on floor & can use to lay out items to avoid wrinkle. The folding down feature is less intrusive into space to still walk around in utility room(some other dryers said either side or down feature, but the down did not go all the way)#2 MUST have top/outside lint filter, avoids lint getting inside dryer with clean clothing #3 Settings & features are very user friendly for ALL types of laundry, including delicate clothing to heavy linens #4 Spacious # 5 QUIET #6 The 3 or 4 Prong Plug is an easy fix, doesn’t require a change in wall receptacle , just the compatible cord.

  • As a parent of busy little ones—and with constant loads of comforters, sheets, and twin-time mess—it’s a relief to have a dryer that just works and works smart. The Whirlpool electric dryer with auto sensing (AutoDry/Moisture Sensing) is that kind of dependable partner in the laundry room. What Makes It Great Auto-Sensing for Perfect Dryness The moisture-sensing system is a standout. It uses internal sensors to monitor moisture and temperature and automatically ends the cycle when fabrics are just right—no under-drying, no over-drying. It’s smart, efficient, and gentle on clothes. Fast, Efficient Performance This dryer dries large loads quickly, a huge plus when you’re juggling two toddlers and a mountain of laundry. Simplicity & Reliability The interface is intuitive—simple knobs or touch controls get you started fast, even when twins are tugging at your pant leg. Managing laundry with twins is a full-time job, so our Whirlpool electric dryer with auto-sensing has been an absolute lifesaver. The moisture sensors perfectly dry loads—no more shrunken shirts or damp blankets. Plus, its large capacity is ideal for bulky items like comforters and sleeping bags, and the wrinkle-preventing feature is clutch when I’m pulled away before I can unload. The steam refresh is a neat bonus to make things ready-to-go without rewashing. All around, it’s fast, quiet, super user-friendly—and it actually simplifies laundry, which for parents feels like magic.

  • We bought this dryer to replace our old dryer and the new dryer takes about twice as long to dry a load of clothes.

    Bill01/14/2026 01:28 PM

  • Got this on 12/2/25, delivery went fine, they would not hook it up because my house is 122 years old and they did not like the way it was vented. I understand that so I had to have a neighbor come over and hook it up. Went fine. I had a Kitchenaid that was 29 years old and finally went out. It was build much better than this one, the top on this one is very weak, you can't lean on it when setting the dials or it will dent. I do not think this one will last 29 years but if I get 5 out of it I will be happy. I really dislike the black panel on top, it is very hard to see. White is so much eaiser to read. Everything else is ok just takes getting used too.

  • I bought my dryer a month ago but wasn't delivered until the of month. I need directions on instructing how to use the dryer. I was told I would receive a booklet with instructions. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with no avail. Most of the time is on trying to get through to someone. I can't get anyone to answer the phone. I have dried 2 loads so far and they come out totally wrinkled that I have to iron them. The 1 sheet of paper that comes with the dryer does not tell you how to use the different selections. I can not get any conformation I purchased the extra warranty on e-mail or mail. I just need some help!

  • I bought a dryer a couple months ago when we got home (my dryer that I was replacing was already out of my place) my son noticed a dent on the bottom of the dryer, opposite corner and the back wasn’t tight, he noticed that the weld tack to the drum was snapped off. Returned it and was told it would be a week, so he took his truck and trailer to work and stopped on his way home went without a dryer at all M (Wow, I can’t scroll here, bear with me, this is my last paragraph! The new dryer works great) 8 days. and it wasn’t there. ABC warehouse called and said it was there the next day and he picked it up. So now I’ve been

  • This has been a great product. The washer arrived in a timely manner. The delivery men were awesome and efficient. The dryer itself is a great size. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are a few different settings that you can use to customize your dry cycle. I found that the dryer works on all varieties of textiles. The dryer does make some noise, but it isn’t obnoxious. I do wish that the machine had a time estimate function for the cycle, but it doesn’t. Overall, the product works great to dry my clothing!

  • Very pleased with my new Whirlpool Dryer. The only thing I was not expecting is the 'electric' push button screen >>> I thought I was getting the 'simplest of the simplest' Appliances >>> like my old Whirlpool Dryer that lasted for 15+ years. I guess things today are not made like they were in the past. ((Just hoping nothing goes wrong with the 'electric' screen))...since I purposefully did not get a fancy LG appliance; because in my opinion; the 'fancier' an Appliance is; has more things to 'go wrong' and need an expensive repair. Hoping this Whirlpool Dryer will last like the previous Whirlpool one I had.
