I am not happy with this washer. It's very noisy and doesn't spin my clothes dry enough. What good is having an energy efficient washer if it takes them longer to dry in my dryer? This washer doesn't spin the clothes dry enough. I also don't like that it doesn't have a deep fill option and no place to put fabric softener in. For what i paid forthis washer it should be of better quality. Not happy.

I’ve been really impressed with this Whirlpool washing machine with the removable agitator. It fits a large load of clothes with no problem, and there are plenty of wash options to choose from depending on what you need. The machine is very easy to use, and I especially love the removable agitator feature—it makes washing bulky items like a comforter so much easier and with less water usage. Clothes come out clean every time, and the flexibility makes this washer a great choice for both everyday laundry and those larger items that are usually a hassle. Only complaint is that this washer is a little louder than my last washer.

I was debating whether to get the Samsung Impeller or this Whirlpool with the 2-in-1 Removable Agitator that was like an Impeller when the Agitator was removed. I obviously went with the Whirlpool. Curiously, I didn't read the reviews until after I placed my order ... I noted a lot of reviews stating how NOISY it is. And they are right -- it is super noisy particularly when it is pulling in the water from the connected faucets through the stainless steel hoses. For me, the noise is not so concerning as the washer is in my shed in the carport. However, as I sit on my laptop in the back bedroom, I am definitely hearing it operate! So, right off the bat, I noticed that the washer is smaller than the Kenmore I had in the same spot. The Kenmore dryer takes up a bit more of the depth ... so when the delivery guys were doing the installation, the last guy pulled it out to be level with the dryer. That's probably why the first load was seriously OFF BALANCE ... that it needed to be pushed back closer to the drainage hose and faucets. After I did that, I got my level and checked it. BTW, I did 5 YouTube videos on a load of wash in the Whirlpool with the agitator removed. Here is the first video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYxD_NM8ods ... Whirlpool Washer 2 in 1 Removable Agitator Take One 121325 ... You can find the other 4 in my channel.

I was happy to find a 2 in 1 agitator that wasn't too deep or have a glass lid. Only washed 2 loads so far, one with and one without the agitator. It did a great job. The agitator comes off easy but not sure how to put it back on correctly so might need to search how to do it correctly. It washed my king size sheets with plenty of room. It should wash my quilt with no problem. I wanted an all knob console but bought this with one dial and push button electronic panel. I like the multiple settings of water level and water temperature. Switching to different clean modes it would adjust water level and temperature according to their recommendation but was able to switch them to my preferred settings. I've always washed using cold water and this washer also has tap cold setting. When I left the clean mode the same it kept my previous settings on the electronic panel. If I change the clean mode I might need to adjust the settings each time. It was a little noisy filling up and when the lid unlocked it was very loud and scared the cat which was helpful to know when the load was finished. I shut the laundry door on the next load and didn't hear the lid unlock when in the next room. I was worried the lid would be too tall below my shelves but this was taller but washer was out far enough it was fine. I wish it had a laundry dispenser but my old one didn't either. No spin cycle light feature. It works well and hopefully it will last a long time.

I cannot express how much I missed having a top loading washer with agitator. This new whirlpool washing machine works crazy good to get our clothes clean. It has a removable agitator, which is awesome when we need to wash larger loads, like duvet covers or our children’s comforters. Otherwise we leave the agitator in and I am just impressed with how clean it gets our laundry. The dial has lots of options, from a normal wash to towels to bulky and I love that you can add a 30 minute pre-soak. This is a very reasonably priced washing machine, considering all of the options available on this model. I do miss having a countdown timer on the display.

I DO NOT recommend this product. We had it for a week before it started leaking oil and lubricant. Our house smells like oil all the time. We got a repair scheduled and the parts that they sent were not enough to fix it. We then were told that there are no part numbers for the parts that are defective and it could be upwards of 6 weeks before the repairs could be made. This washer has literally been in our house for 3 weeks!!! I am beyond frustrated and have higher expectations than this for something that we spent over $600 for. I would steer clear of this model if I were looking for a new washer. I am afraid we may be stuck with a lemon and potentially have to purchase another one.

I’m so happy with my Whirlpool Top Load Washer! The 2-in-1 removable agitator is such a smart feature—it gives me the flexibility to wash all kinds of loads, from bulky bedding to delicate clothes. It’s easy to use, runs smoothly, and gets everything fresh and clean. I love the removable agitator—it gives me the flexibility to wash big comforters or switch back for everyday clothes. It’s quiet, efficient, and leaves everything feeling fresh and clean. I feel confident knowing I made the right choice with this washer. Definitely a great upgrade for my home. Highly recommend!

Bought the brand new house with all appliances in the house with whirlpool products with great reputation. I thought it will last a long time because we been taking care of it really well. However, after just two month after the warranty expired, the drum of the washer machine banging again the machine housing so it forced me to stop the laundry during mid cycle and finish it by hand. I am not happy with this washing machine at all due how long it actually last compared with the price. If any one have similar problem please advise me what parts that need to be replaced so i don’t have to buy a brand new one just after a bit over one year.

As a parent, laundry feels like a full-time job—especially when you’re washing bulky comforters, sleeping bags, and everything in between. The Whirlpool top-load washer with its 2-in-1 removable agitator has truly been a game-changer for our household. What We Love 1. Removable Agitator for Massive Loads The option to remove the agitator offers invaluable flexibility: you can leave it in for regular loads and take it out when washing bulky items like comforters or sleeping bags. This opens up the drum for better water circulation and helps prevent off-balance warnings—a major plus when you’re stacking a king-size comforter in there. 2. Generous Capacity in a Compact Form 3. Simple, Durable Design This washer keeps things straightforward—no smart connectivity or flashy screens, just dependable performance. For those who miss the simplicity of older appliances, this is a breath of fresh air With twins pulling comforters, blankets, and outfits through multiple daily loads, this Whirlpool top-load washer—especially its removable agitator—has become my laundry MVP. It handles oversized items with ease, washes efficiently, and has been rock-solid in performance. The simplicity, reliability, and flexibility it offers make it perfect for our family.

I bought this washer at Home Depot it was delivered broken. Shook Uncontrollably when on spin cycle and is super loud. Home Depot sent repair team and new unit now two week into using it the unit will not unlock or drain. Home depot said they don’t care because it outside the 48 hour return window and Whirlpool solution is to send a tech out within the next 5-15 days while my clothes are locked inside and water stuck inside.

Purchased over a month ago and so far, so good. Have used on all cycles with all different types of loads. Large tub with easily removable agitator for extra-large/bulky items. Many cycle settings with a quick wash even that gets the job done pretty well when you're in a rush. I do slightly regret not getting the model with see through top though as once the door locks you can't open without starting and stopping the wash cycle all over again (or at least I haven't figured out how to do that) so if there's an issue (i.e. imbalance load, noise, etc.) you can't see what's going on inside. The other reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the noise, it's quite noisy when running. If not an issue for you it's a good washer for the price, gets the clothes clean and easy to use. We're pleased overall with the purchase.

This Whirlpool washer works wonderfully! I can choose what type of load I am putting in, as well as the water temperature and level. The removable agitator is perfect for bulky items. Though, when I went to lock the agitator back in place, I had to hold the drum because otherwise it would just spin. My husband doesn't like that it won't fill without the lid being closed, however, I don't mind. It is exciting to have a machine that I know gets my clothes clean the first time.

I’ve been using the Whirlpool top-load washer with the 2-in-1 removable agitator and the Whirlpool 7.0 cu. ft. electric dryer for my daily laundry, and I’m honestly so happy with them. The removable agitator is my favorite part. I didn’t realize how useful it would be until I started using it. When I wash big blankets or jackets, I take it out and everything fits so much better. For regular clothes, I leave it in because it cleans really well. My clothes come out looking fresher, and the washer is surprisingly quiet. I also like that it doesn’t tangle everything the way my old washer did.

This is your basic washer, it was a bit less techy compared to my other one. I do like the aspect of the removable agitator for bigger loads. The different cycles are nice as well. I cannot speak to how energy efficient is it yet, but hopefully there will be a difference! However it can be quite a bit noisy and a bit shaky.

Our last whirlpool washer lasted us 11.5 years. Which is the only reason I bought a new one without doing any research. This new one lasted 2 days (5 washes) before it just stopped working. Had to wait another 5 days for the technician to come look at it under my 12 month warranty. I may update after its fixed, hopefully its repaired soon.

This has been a great product. The washer arrived in a timely manner. The delivery men were awesome and efficient. There was a small ding in the washer, but it doesn’t take away from the function. The washer itself is a great size. I love that the agitator can be removed easily. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are a few different settings that you can use to customize your wash cycle. The machine itself is a bit noisy when the water is running, but that isn’t too big of an issue for me. I do wish that the machine had a time estimate function for the cycle, but it doesn’t. Overall, the product works great to wash my clothing!

I bought this in December. It came dented from home depot and now it's leaking when not in use so I scheduled a warranty service call and the service provider never showed up or responded to multiple calls and emails. So Whirlpool tells me I need to pay a service provider up front and jump through hoops to try to get a reimbursement from them and that's the best they can do to honor their 1 year warranty. I want whirlpool to schedule a service appointment directly. They're giving so much trouble honoring their 1 year warranty and it was delivered only 3 months ago.

doesn't wash very well - "agitator" is useless since it doesn't fill far enough to even reach it - it's the noisiest machine i've ever heard running in my life - feels "cheap", and i am not the least bit happy with it. i realize top-loaders take more water than front-loaders, but this thing is ridiculous. even on the "heavy-duty" cycle and with the water level at "max", it won't wash a TWIN comforter, and it's not even heavy. if i had known what i was getting into with this machine, i never would have bought it. i'm stuck with this - THING now so i'll just have to KICK myself every time i turn it on and remember "whirlpool" is NOT "whirlpool" anymore.

Technically, speaking this washer is great. The two challenges I have are a) I am 5 foot two and it’s a high machine with a deep drum so it’s hard for me to get the clothes out and b) Although there are buttons that allow you to indicate the water level that you want, the machine seems to completely ignore the setting you’ve selected. I had a feeling that it wasn’t operating as expected so once the machine has stopped filling, I opened the lid and used a tape measure to measure the water level, and I was very angry to find out that although I had selected the ‘High’ water level the water in fact was only 7 inches deep.
Lavern01/05/2026 02:56 AM
The Whirlpool washer is reliable and user-friendly. It offers a good variety of wash cycles, making it easy to handle everything from heavy loads like towels and bedding to quick washes for everyday clothes. The drum has plenty of space, so you can fit in larger items without overstuffing.
fernandas272_382608/16/2025 07:16 AM
Just got it yesterday. I can’t even tell if it’s actually working properly? It doesn’t really agitate much at all? When I choose full water level, it still barely fills the tub. It’s so loud! There is a weird smell (like rubbing electric smell) that I thought was maybe just a “new” parts smell, but now I’m questioning that. Cheapest drain hose came with it, unattached and I feel wirh how violently the washer drum shakes on drain cycle that it will go flying off! I am a single mom and really couldn’t afford a new washer (mine broke) but had to have one and used my Best Buy card that I only had a little credit left on. Now I’m stuck with garbage and can’t afford a different one. I went off the reviews that were there at the time (only 5 star promotional reviews were up) and now I see the terrible ones coming in (after I bought it sadly).

I love mine the washer and dryer work excellent! There are so many different settings on the washer to be energy efficient and save water you just have to know how to program what cycle and how you want to wash items! My dryer I love it also I can either set it for a timer or I can set it where it'll automatically tell me when the clothes are dry and turn off which is a blessing to save on my electric the delivery service was top notch they communicated prior to the delivery up to 15 minutes before they were on their way the two gentlemen that delivered my washer and dryer I'm packaged them carry them out two flights of steps to my laundry room they do let you know before delivering the product what you will need prior to your delivery for hoses and hookups I've had all those items ready the delivery men hooked up my washer and dryer literally took 20 minutes for the whole process from delivery to set up, The noise level to me is quiet on both. The music chimes when cycles are done honestly are great reminders for me!
nhip14_235909/08/2025 01:53 PM
Pros: There is not a tray to put in soap. I did not like that on my old machine. It always held water. The knobs are simple to use, and the water temperatures go from cold to hot. I prefer the agitator washing machine, which this is. You can easily take out the agitator with one hand, when you need to wash something big. Cons: it’s not really a con for me, since my washer is downstairs. It runs a little louder than my last machine. It’s not a dealbreaker for me though. The machine washes items especially well. I have run delicates all the way up to large bedding. Very pleased with my new washing machine. Longevity? We will see.
