• The performance of this water heater is extraordinary compared to our old (different brand) water heater. The GE has plenty of hot water storage and maintains hot water during periods of high demand. Highly recommend this GE water heater for anyone that uses hot water in great demand.

• Went from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon. Am able to take longer hot showers without the temperature of the water getting cooler after a period of time.

• It was just installed today so it’s hard to rate it already but I will say that it heated the first tank of water very quickly. I took a hot shower within an hour of starting up the new water heater!

• Great product it replaced a 15 year old GE water heater that was performing fine but insurance company made me replace because of its age. Installation was a breeze and have been very happy with it.

• Very nice how GE included all of the external fittings and electrical connectors required for installing this Hot water tank. Planning for and installation was so much easier. Very simple, easily read instructions with illustrations. Just installed today but we had hot water in no time and hopefully we're as pleased with this purchase as we have been with several other GE appliances as we upgrade.

• My 15 year old GE water tank randomly broke 2 weeks ago thanks to my old pipes in my historic house. I searched to purchase a new one online but reviews were horrible for the ones at the big department stores. Disappointingly, Home Depot, nor Lowes no longer carries GE electric water tanks, so I came across this 50 gallon GE electric tank on the Total Home Supply Store website for roughly $600. And the best part of it was that I was able to use the service “Affirm” and am paying monthly payments for it until it’s paid off. Being a single mother whose financially struggling to keep up, this was literally a god send! My tank was delivered in one week and I had a friend set it up for me. The hardest part was just draining out the old tank, which wasn’t hard at all, just time consuming. This new GE tank is actually bigger then my old one too, the connections are so simple that anyone can figure them out. I’m hoping to get a good 10-15 years out of this one. We shall see! Best part of it all though, I finally have HOT water again! Haha. A BIG Thanks to GE for all the reliable appliances you’ve provided my family throughout the years. Being born and raised in Boston, Mass I can say that GE is a company I feel proud to stand behind and will never purchase a different brand of appliances!

• I Updated my GE water heater and this is the best on the market 50 gal, hot water for the entire family, im so happy with the quality and price of these water heater.

• The Hot Water Heater is really nice works very well. It replaced a 38 year old hot water heater. Make sure you measure the high and the width of the one you are removing. This one is over 5 feet tall and about 24 inches bottom at the widest point. Make sure you measure twice or you may be making a few trips back to the store to get hoses.

• So far we love this hot water tank! We are a family of 4 that would constantly be worried about running out of hot water with our old tank. Last night we all took showers back to back and did not run out of hot water. It was such a relief.

• It's only been a couple of weeks. It heats water, and it didn't break yet. After that, I don't need or want to think about. Being a basic water heater means no digital displays or wifi stuff or energy saving heat pump added on top to break later. And it's less expensive upfront. Easy do-it-yourself install if it is close to your existing unit dimensions and water pipe locations.
