Exceptional design and quality has improved my baking and cooking. The easy to control touch panel is clear and accurate with heating. It is easy to switch between convectional and air fry. I love the air fry basket and how much room it boasts. The even cooking leaves each dish perfect. The light is bright and the oven is easy to clean and adjust. I would definitely recommend this oven to anyone.

This is the worst oven an customer service is terrible!! Condensation and moisture collects in the top oven, during use, and drip or runs down into the bottom oven. It drips between the glass and leaves water marks. The service solution was there is no fix and just use the bottom oven. Why would I buy a double oven only to use the bottom. That is a ridiculous and unacceptable solution. Costumer service was no help! On line said to call and call said to email. When you do call you get disconnected, after explaining everything, and they don't and can't call you back, so you go through it all over and over. I had a different brand of double oven for over 15 years and it never collected moisture and dripped into the bottom oven. Bottom line this oven does not function properly and customer service and communication is terrible. If you have this same condensation issue please let me know. I want to know if it is my double oven or all kitchenaid double oven. I have been told it is a common issue.

We purchased this oven from Costco about a year and a half ago. Within a bit over a year the top oven cavity began to buckle which then caused the paint to pop off in two places (over 3" in both places) The warranty is for two years, contacted Whirlpool and Costco, technicians came out twice and said there was an issue, but Whirlpool says it is cosmetic and won't cover it. Would you spend $2700 on an oven that falls apart? Customer service from both Whirlpool and Costco has been very disappointing.

So disappointed with my Kitchen aid product. Model KOCE500ESS20/SERIAL # DB5015019. I live alone and a barely used microwave in 1 year, I noted the element fell down because the hard plastic clip holding the element up, broke. Why would they figure plastic would hold up with heat especially with a convection oven feature. I purchased the most expensive package from my build so this should tell how I was disappointed. I can bet a cheaper version from Walmart would hold up better and longer. Never have I experience this with a microwave before. I am sure this is not the first incident with this product but there is no recall as per the company to date. This only leave customers frustrated and with the feeling that our money went down the drain. There need to be a recall on this product and the company need to figure a better material/clip to hold up the element.

I bought one of these about 4 years ago, worked fine til a year ago: then top oven: fan so noisy you could hear it rooms away and would not hold consistent temp. Repair team said “ these usually work great, this is just a lemon.” Soooo… we bit the bullet and bought another double oven. It came today … it doesn’t work!! Installers worked on it for 2 hours , talked to “tech “ , were told it needs a new fan!! Will not accept it back … so I am starting with lemon number 2 and told I have no options but to keep it . This is a KitchenAid problem . Not the local distributors.
Disappointed customer x211/06/2024 03:56 AM
I purchased this oven in September 2024 and it was installed in October. Problems began in March 2025 and September. First with oven on, when I tried to set the timer it kept acting as if I was changing the oven temperature. Had a repair person come multiple times and just recently it happened again. Then just yesterday while trying to preheat oven I got an “ERR F8E0 cooling Fan Low” message and both ovens not working. Had to call for repair and just made it before 1 year warranty expired. This certainly is not the quality I was expecting when I purchased this oven. I frankly deserve a new oven. KitchenAid used to be a brand we were loyal to but it won’t be anymore. What has happened to your quality control?

We’ve had this for over a month, and everything works perfect. My wife loves it.
Bob 196610/27/2024 05:07 AM
We bought this oven in February 2025. It will not hold the temperature and fluctuates 25-50 degrees. I know this because I bought a thermometer that I keep in the oven. We’ve had three repair men out without a results.
Won’t hold the temp06/02/2025 08:47 PM
I was gifted this double oven by influenster in exchange for my honest review. My previous double oven was also a KitchenAid, but it was almost 15 years old. This was easy for my husband to install. The installers were not able to install it due to the location of our junction box. I am blown away by how fast this oven preheats in comparison to my old! It is easy to use, and so far after about a week worth of using it, I have not noticed any uneven heating issues. I love that KitchenAid kept the easy slide rack feature! It's so nice when checking your Thanksgiving turkey or heavy casseroles! The air fryer mode is probably my favorite feature. Multitasking kitchen appliances are a must for someone who hate clutter! It's so nice to not have an additional kitchen appliance. This double oven with air fryer is fantastic!

I bought the oven about a month ago and have yet been able to use it. Lemon!! Extremely dissatisfied, the repair man has already been here twice, the part needed (the main board) keeps coming in defective!! I have a house full of family (all gourmet cooks) we get together each year to impress each other with our skills. Hard to do without an oven. I would junk the whole thing and find something else, but have already had my cabinets altered to accommodate the new appliance. It looks very nice in my kitchen and stays beautifully clean….because it is basically a prop! Horrible so far.

We received this oven as part of a new home build. In the design center, we opted up upgrade to this oven with features such as being a double oven, convection, roller racks and more. The interior is a beautiful blue color which was a great surprise. In addition, it maintains accurate temperatures very well. I highly recommend this product.

We love the double oven. Heats up fast. Cooks great. I do have one concern. There was a space at the bottom of the oven and the opening where it was installed. Our contractor gave me the number to call KitchenAid to get a mounting bracket to cover this area. Our owners manual said "at no charge to you". I called the number. The person who answered said they couldn't help me and that I had to go to a hardware store to purchase the mounting bracket to cover the open area. Disappointing to say the least. Still have the opening there. Anything you can do to resolve this/
RobBob5707/12/2024 08:05 AM
The dark blue interior makes it seem so much brighter than the typical black interior. I haven’t used any features besides the regular oven and the broiler but they seem to work really well and the oven has nice even heating.
Sarah4108/18/2024 06:52 AM
Love everything about this oven! So easy to use and look stunning too!
ls5672710/21/2025 07:02 AM
This oven has never worked as promised. Have to constantly adjust temperature up and down to keep anywhere near what we're aiming for (using independent thermometers). Convection oven bakes unevenly, burns right side of oven, underbakes left side
Unhappy in GA07/20/2025 12:38 AM
Truly the worst oven. Does not hold a steady temperature. It can even drop 80 degrees! Just imagine the frustration having to guess the higher temp to plug in with the hope that you hit the temp that is required for a recipe. Also imagine the frustration when day after day and month after month your food does not turn out the right way or you practically have to burn the meat so you don’t give anyone food poison. Did a KitchenAid employee come to look at it? Yes. He preheated the oven and when it beeped, he showed me that the temperature was what it was supposed to be. He was unwilling to wait and see what would happen to the temperature after that. Most people just casually can’t buy an oven after just buying a new oven and find that it doesn’t work. I have a friend whose KitchenAid oven does the same thing. If you want an oven that looks nice, then buy this one. If you want an oven that works and does what it’s supposed to do (and doesn’t cause extreme angst), purchase another brand!

I am deeply disappointed in the lack of support and transparency I’ve experienced with my 2.5-year-old KitchenAid double ovens. My control panel failed over a month ago, rendering both ovens unusable. After a frustrating 3-hour call with KitchenAid, I was passed between multiple representatives before being told—without full disclosure—that my $600 replacement part would be handled by a third-party vendor, Repair Clinic. Repair Clinic has now confirmed that the control panel is on factory backorder with no estimated date for restock. I was told it could be 13 weeks or longer. This is unacceptable for a major appliance that is barely two years old. KitchenAid’s failure to communicate clearly, offer any real solution, or provide a viable workaround has left me without a functioning oven and no timeline for resolution. I expected better from a premium brand. At this point, I regret purchasing KitchenAid and cannot recommend your products or service.

Terrible oven. Nothing bakes. The oven says it at the correct temperature, but have to leave everything in twice as long, and then nothing bakes correctly. Technician says it is designed to work this way, so not at all, and is a frequent complaint that he receives. Will never by kitchenaid again.
DocMP06/07/2024 03:40 AM
I bought this double oven to replace my 22 year old Kitchenaid ovens which were in my house when I purchased it. I never had any issue with the old ovens but had to replace them when the glass in the oven door cracked and as the appliance repair people told me. “It’s time.” The new oven (s) fit perfectly into the cabinet and they are nearly identical in operation (so, no real learning curve). They are perfectly calibrated and I am very happy with them.
Helenemw10/19/2024 04:49 AM
These new ovens replaced KitchenAid ovens that I had for 20 years. While I like the updated look and improved racks, I feel like I lost cooking abilities I had previously. When using Bake, the ovens are very slow getting to temperature. There is no Roast/Convect Roast capability and Convect Bake doesn't seem to be browning things like chicken. AirFryer is nice but a little messy. The manuals appear to have been generically written for several model variations and the one that explained how to use the ovens had to be downloaded rather than coming with the oven. Overall, the ovens are adequate.
Becky202503/26/2025 01:35 AM
I was happy with my previous KItchenAid double wall ovens so when I. needed to replace them, I bought the newer model of the same ovens. So far, I couldn't be more pleased
Nancygh10/26/2025 08:06 PM
Temp probe doesn’t work. Customer support lines are near impossible to find someone capable of trouble shooting. Tried 2x with no remedy. Instead I got a sales pitch for all my appliances. I suggest your call center agents focus on resolving the problem before jumping into sales mode. I would have rated the appliance a 5 star, but because of my experience this far I cannot in good conscience rate Kitchen Aid that high of a rating.

We had a KitchenAid double oven that was 30 years old and it went out. We were so impressed with how well it cooked and how long it lasted, we thought we would get another one. Well, here at 13 months this KitchenAid double oven has gone out. None of the top row of buttons work. It sounds like we will be out of an oven for a good while as we are waiting on the tech arrive... and then I am sure he will have to order parts which will take time... Absolutely disappointing. I will update the review after we get the estimate to repair this basically brand new double oven. Besides it going out, we noticed this oven gets the lower oven very hot when the upper oven is on. We did not have this issue with our 30 year old KitchenAid double oven. It also vents a LOT of hot air to the floor below the bottom oven. Again, we did not have this issue with our previous oven. Lastly, this oven doesn't seem to cook things evenly.

Replaced a 23 year old 30" Double elec Wall Oven - due only to failed control Panel (Could no longer read display) - Probably due to using Self Cleaning - Which I hghly NOT recommend use on any Oven - Probably Over heated Control Board and LED Display. Old Oven Worked Flawlessly and expect this one to do the same - No Modifications needed to use the same Wall Cabnit - Love the New Sliding Racks - Found Cool Down no longer uses Fans , atleast initially. Have not used all Modes yet - hope to find out how the Air Fry Feature Works -- Looking forward to another 23 years of Great Cooking
