• This is a top of the line dishwasher and while it's quite and cleans the dishes really well, the bottom rack is useless. It's the rack to be used for plates and other flat dishes. It's utterly disappointing because having a rack that allows plates to be stacked inside the dishwasher is a pretty basic requirement. The bottom rack slots are wide and straight, meaning that only a few plates can fit and they ALL fall over on top of one another. I contacted KitchenAid asking for an alternative bottom rack, and alas, they don't have it. They don't even have a workaround or plans to fix this major flaw in the future, despite the many complaints on this design flaw. I'm very sad to see that something so basic has been overlooked and that KitchenAid has not even made an effort to mitigate such error and provide a solution to its customers.

• If you have kids, you will absolutely love the PrintShield finish on this dishwasher. This dishwasher fits flush to my cabinets which gives it a seamless sleek look. I love that I can adjust the middle rack, which is awesome when you have big pots and bowls. This dishwasher even has an additional rack on the top, which is perfect for silverware, spatulas, and knives. I like that the control panel is hidden on the top of the door which gives it a really clean look. I’m totally impressed at how quiet this appliance is compared to my old dishwasher. Dishes come out sparkling clean. Delivery was absolutely perfect. The guys were nice and courteous and had my old dishwasher out and my new KitchenAid installed in no time at all. This KitchenAid dishwasher is definitely an asset to our home.

• I simply LOVE this dishwasher. With two toddlers in our house we are constantly doing dishes and the features on this make it easier, faster and more enjoyable. To start, this cleans any dish without pre-washing needed. The third row rack is perfect for lids, utensils and small snack containers and mugs. The open door dry setting is a great way to reduce energy usage- we run at least one load of dishes a day so this is a huge help! The light on the inside is something I didn’t even know how much I needed until I had it. It runs so quiet, I’ve found myself double checking my husbands confirmation he started it multiple times. The fingerprint resistant coating saves me from cleaning my appliances multiple times a day. And the light projection of time remaining on the floor is so cool! This is a really powerful dishwasher that holds way more than other dishwashers of this size footprint.

• This thing is amazing. With a large family and constant dishes it’s a godsend. I can fill it without the added steps of having to wash and rinse before they get washed. Comes out sparkling clean. Best part is i can’t hear a thing when it’s running. Much more efficient and quieter than the dishwasher I had before that complained all the time. (The teenager) The delivery guys were great too!

• I was so excited to get this dishwasher as a mom with pumping supplies, a toddler and two adults all eating different things. This dishwasher holds so much but has a slightly smaller profile as it’s more efficient. Here are my favorite points: 1. Top row is amazing for bottle/pumping parts but could easily be used for kid’s dishes, cookware, meal prep items, etc. 2. It has a built in water softener and we have very hard water that leaves deposits on our dishes without the softener 3. It displays how much time is left on the floor which is neat but so useful 4. Doesn’t show my 3.5 year olds finger/handprints so I don’t have to constantly clean it 5. It pops open when the cycle is complete to help dry the dishes. 6. Its quieter than our last KitchenAid dishwasher 7. The light inside makes it easy to see when we’re doing dishes at night after the kids are in bed Overall very happy and a great option!

• I absolutely love this new KitchenAid dishwasher. It is so quiet that you can hardly hear it running. Is energy efficient and it only takes around $34 a year to run?. I also really like that it has three rows for dishes instead of two. The best feature about this dishwasher is that when the cycle ends, the door automatically opens so it can finish drying.

• After years of owning old, mediocre, builder-grade dishwashers we finally upgraded. The Kitchen-Aid “39 dBA PrintShield™ Finish Flush-to-Cabinet Dishwasher with FreeFlex™ Fit Third Level Rack” is now in our home, a brand new workhorse in our dated kitchen that is begging for a complete renovation. While we never had any problems with noise from previous dishwashers but with young children we felt that something quiet would be best. This thing does not disappoint. I barely notice it running! The internal LED lighting is a game changer when you want to grab a clean dish out of the dishwasher in less than optimal lighting. Finally, the layout of the three racks makes much better use of the available space and is designed to handle a wider variety of dishes compared to other dishwashers we’ve used. My mind was blown the first time I turned the dishwasher on and saw the remaining time clearly projected onto the floor below the unit. My mind was blown a second time when the cycle finished and the door was slowly pushed open a few inches by a little robotic arm, as I was expecting a beep at the end to manually come and open the door for my selected “Door open dry” program. The quality of the wash is superior to any other dishwasher we have owned. I am optimistic that this will reduce how frequently we find ourselves hand washing dishes due to an inability to trust our machine to do its job effectively. The price tag on the unit places it into luxury appliance territory but this thing is worth the splurge.

• These dishwashers can catch on fire and KitchenAid won't care or cover it if it's outside of their warranty. Apparently just because it's not in warranty, it's OK if it smokes and potentially could burn your house down. I was offered a discount off a new dishwasher because I was lucky I caught it and it didn't burn my house down.

• Follow up. Today I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with customer service. Had trouble getting service call scheduled for door which drops all he way down unless you hold it. I also tried to get an answer on what salt to use in the water softener after several holds and transfers I still have not gotten an answer. Only had it since last Thursday and am ready to return. Guess what , there are no returns for items purchased on Kitchenaid. Com. Biggest mistake in a long time on an $1800 dishwasher. Also last Kitchenaid purchase we will ever make. Worst customer service ever. Save yourself a headache and Do not buy Kitchenaid products.

• My new dishwasher has been installed for only a week and I already love it. The stainless interior is beautiful and the three racks are great. I love the innovative cutlery basket and the top tier area for things like wooden spoons, spatulas and pastry brushes. I bought it because I wanted a dishwasher that would match the rest of my kitchen and the custom panel and handle certainly accomplish that. I chose Kitchen Aid because quality and reliability are associated with the name. (My contractor still needs to add panels to the top and bottom.) Incidentally, my contractor was very impressed during the installation. He especially liked the electrical box!

• I like the dishwasher and most of it's features. It is quiet, efficient and cleans the dishes. My only problem was the automatic door opener gets stunk after opening the door. Technician visited and got it to work. Used it and again it malfunctioned. Component was replaced, but we do not use it as it is an inconvenience when it renders the machine unusable.

• I had an older model KitchenAid dishwasher and was so excited for the upgrade. This washer is about 35% bigger. It has an adjustable 2nd rack and a decent sized third rack. The washer fits a lot of dishes, has multiple wash cycles. The best part is now my mugs come out dry because of the slanted design of the two upper racks! It also has a cool feature of reflecting the time remaining on the floor!

• Love this dishwasher We replaced our old dishwasher with this model and it is amazing! My dishes come out very clean. It is incredible. It has 3 shelves where I can accommodate knives and spoons. It is quite spacious The noise is minimal, something normal, the fingerprints on the stainless are not marked, very easy to clean, excellent material, I am in love with the dishwasher!!

• We've had this for 6 months. It is a big disappointment vs. other KitchenAids we've had in the past. Especially given the price point. Main issues: - The top rack is essentially non-functional- the sprayers don't cover most of the rack area there so things don't get clean (the FreeFlex Fit Third Level rack is significantly different that the FreeFlex in our last model). - Dishes don't get dry. Either the auto-open feature doesn't help or the traditional drying capability was significantly downgrading when they added the auto-open feature. - Very small overall.

• I am not pleased with this dishwashers capacity. My previous dishwasher was able to hold 3 rows of dishes on the low rack, this holds only 2 and the dishes constantly fall over. Previous dishwasher had 7 rows of tines, this one only 4 rows. The silverware basket is another thing I dislike. Previous dishwasher the entire basket lifted out for easy unloading. This one only the center section can be removed, the two ends are attached to the rack. The dishwasher is quiet and does a good job of washing the dishes, but so did the other one. Really wish I would have looked at reviews prior to the purchase, many people had similar sentiments.

• Incentivized. I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. My new KitchenAid Dishwasher is absolutely beautiful!!! I had an old dishwasher and was in the market for a new one and boy does this new KitchenAid dishwasher deliver! It has so many luxury functions that I wouldn’t have even thought I needed. It has a light that projects onto the ground with the time left in the washing. It has an automatic feature to pop open the dishwasher to dry which would save electricity. It has multiple layers of sound protection which makes it so silent when running. This might seem small, but it also came with fillers to hide the gap between the dishwasher and the cabinet. It makes it look intentional like a built-in appliance. It is so spacious and fits way more than my old dishwasher. It also washes the dishes so well, cleans every little bit of grime off and the dishes come out streak free. I am in love with this new KitchenAid dishwasher!! My only complaint is the installation was quite challenging. The installers had not installed this new model before and could not help us. Luckily, my husband is very handy and was able to install for us, but the installation instructions were very confusing and out of order. Aside from the installation (hopefully you get a better installer), I would 100% recommend this KitchenAid dishwasher to anyone!

• Installed 1/20/25. We absolutely love this machine so far! No more hard water problems. No more hand washing skillet, pots, and pans. No more rinsing by hand to get rid of the white residue. Dishes virtually dry when it kicks off. So quiet my best friend had to feel the water supply line to make sure it was filling up the first time. Old dishwasher was hardwired so no need for the new cord and the machine came with a water supply line so no need for the new hose. Being on a fixed income we weren't sure about spending this much money but the ease of use and results make it worth every penny!

• We have now owned this dishwasher for about a month and we are thrilled with it. It is very well-made and cleans so much better than the previous one that we owned from another manufacturer. The last one was not very old, but did not clean well. This one leaves our dishes spotless, even on the normal cycle. I love the door open drying option as it allows any water that may pool on top of a bowl or cup to evaporate before I have to put it away. It also projects a timer on the floor to show how long the cycle has left to complete. Our house has an open living room/kitchen area and you can't hear the dishwasher running. The only way we know it's on is when we see the timer. Great dishwasher and I highly recommend it to anyone.

• Worst dishwasher experience I've ever had. I wish I still had my Braun. I am constantly re-washing dishes with the Kitchenaid, even when I've scraped and rinse the dishes before hand. I've tried every expensive dishwashing pod and soap, I still never get a totally clean load. I never had any issues with the Braun.

• We own the Kitchenaid 3rd rack dishwasher at our mountain house and love it. We purchased this panel ready 3rd rack Kitchenaid and were told they were identical other than being panel ready. The racks in this dishwasher are horrible. The bottom rack tines unlock any time you only have a couple of plates in it which causes them to fall. If you lower the middle rack so you can fit tall glasses the wand below hits plates causing it not to spin. I would give this dishwasher 5 stars except the racks and capacity is so bad it goes to a one.

• I bought this dishwasher a year ago and I am still struggling to figure out the rack system. I have only owned KitchenAid dishwashers and this is the worst rack system I have ever owned. I called to see if I could at least get a new bottom rack because the rack that came with the dishwasher is absolutely useless. I had to raise the middle rack so the spray arm would stop hitting the top of the dinner plates and now the drinking glasses don't fit except in one spot. It does clean well but everything else is horrible. Also for being one of the top dishwashers it doesn't even have a rinse aid level indicator and I have yet to find the salt indicator. I do not recommend this dishwasher.

• OMG! I’m in love with this dishwasher!! The 39 DBA print-shield Finish Flush Cabinet Dishwasher is loaded with awesome amenities. The best one to me is the adjustable 2nd rack! This rack comes in handy for large pots. I also love the extra 3rd rack, which I use for my cutting knives and serving spoons. My dishes always come out clean no matter the size of my load! I love the timer that counts down and reflects off my floor. This dishwasher load with awesome gadgets! It’s definitely a step up in the dishwasher world. Not to mention, it’s super quiet. As of now I have zero complaints. Thanks Kitchen-aid!!
