I’ve been using this Kitchen Aid dishwasher for two weeks now and it’s been an upgrade to say the least! The installation was straightforward and very quick. The noise is very low and is perfect for my household. The cleaning performance is excellent and works great even with dry food stuck on a plate. I barely have to rinse it ! The capacity is also very generous and the third rack on the top makes it easy to organize utensils. The dish washer also has print shield so it always looks clean and has other really good features! Overall great quality!

It’s been about 1.5 weeks now and maybe four washes and I have no complaints. This KitchenAid does a great job of washing our dishes. Install was simple if you are a diy type of person and it’s a nice replacement of our old kenmore that just wasn’t operating well anymore, not pumping out all the water, leaking on the floor and some function buttons were missing. Some people have complained that the unit sticks out too far, maybe an inch and a half, including my wife but it doesn’t bother me.door pops open when it’s finished to allow air drying. Very happy with this purchase and extremely happy with Steve who helped us pick this out at Lowe’s.

Okay, full disclosure, I got a free dishwasher. I went from a samsung (in one of the photos) to this Whirlpool/Kitchenaid and let me tell you, oh boy, did I upgrade. This dishwasher has a third rack for utensils—a game changer for saving room. No longer am I laying wooden spoons down where I should have room for bowls. I cannot emphasize how clean my dishes came out. Even the crappy plastic tupperware was spotless. The controls are in the front, and as it runs, it shows you what part of the process you’re in. I ended up installing the dishwasher with my dad, and it wasn’t too bad. The directions could have been a little clearer, but when isn’t that the case. We hooked up the drain line, electric, and water, pushed her in, and didn’t run into any issues. There’s a drain tray in the front that blocks the electric but it can be accessed from the front. All in all it took about 2 and a half hours for average joes to install and it runs like a dream. Thank you whirlpool for giving me the cleanest dishes of my life!

I love this dishwasher! The noise level is almost non-existent. The tech advised that we might think it wasn't running due to how quiet it is! The third rack at the top for large utensils saves space on the upper rack. I tested the dishwasher by not pre-rinsing the dishes. They still came out spotless. My only recommendation, if you don't have 5 hours I would run with Express setting and no dry. The full cycle takes a long time.

The installation process was straightforward, and everything fit perfectly into place without issues. I’ve already noticed this dishwasher uses water efficiently, yet it still delivers excellent cleaning power. The 30+ wash jets and ProWash™ cycle really make a difference—dishes, utensils, and even tough cookware come out spotless. At 47 dBA, it runs impressively quiet; I barely notice it when it’s on. The design features are well thought out—the third-level utensil rack is a game-changer for organizing silverware and larger utensils, and the PrintShield finish keeps it looking sleek and smudge-free. Overall, it’s a high-performing, modern dishwasher that makes cleanup much easier.

I like this dishwasher! It works very well to clean and dry the dishes. I love that the door can automatically crack open to assist with further drying after the dry cycle. Took one star off because mine came with a big dent inside, way in the back. I have to push the bottom drawer a little harder but I thought that was because it was new. I LOVE the third shelf. I didn’t think I was going to use it but it’s perfect for straws, water bottle tops and other small items. I like that on the utensil basket you can chose to use the piece that lets you put one utensil in each little slot or flip it up to use it as a normal basket. I hate the slotted utensil part but I’m sure other people use it so it’s nice to have that option. It’s not overly complicated to run which is also great. Simple and straightforward buttons. It’s very quiet!! Overall great product but be sure to thoroughly inspect the entire inside of the wash basin, it’s easy to miss dents since it’s so shiny!

I got this KitchenAid third level utensil rack dishwasher to upgrade our current one, and this is an awesome one to upgrade to! This has 30+ total wash jets across 3 wash arms that offer targeted cleaning on every level. The utensil rack holds silverware and serving utensils. This has the ProDry system that dries from every angle with heating elements, water repellent tech, and natural ventilation. There is a ProDry Max option to get the maximum results! This also has triple filtration system that circulates clean water to wash and rinse! Then there is the ProWash Cycle, that automatically adapts wash time and water temperatures based on soil levels. This has a ton of really terrific features! This gets my dishes clean and dry with ease! Installation and set up was quick and easy, the instructions were very helpful during the process. This is a major upgrade compared to my previous one. This one has so many more features and it gets my dishes cleaner than ever. If you are looking to upgrade, or even add a dishwasher, this one would be a terrific option to look in to. I honestly don't have any negative opinions on it.

This dishwasher is so good! I love how much room it has with the 3rd level rack. We always have a ton of silverware and this makes it so easy to get all dishes in at one time. So far the noise level is very quiet and I barely hear it running. The pro wash cycle is all I have used so far because it cleans so well. Also I have never had a dishwasher that dryers the dishes so well. It was easy to install but I hate the electrical hook up is all up front which makes it a bit difficult if your hard wire line is too short (ours was) but luckily you can have a standard plug outlet too. All in all I LOVE this dishwasher.

This is my second KitchenAid dishwasher product. The dishwasher does what it's supposed to do, however, the installation process was a nightmare. After installation and the men left I found a big dent in the bottom of the dishwasher on the inside of the tub. I can't understand how KitchenAid would allow AHS to give your quality product to a common carrier. They make deliveries not installations. I dont feel they have any idea about how to install dishwashers. As I am an AHS customer it was delivered three times before it was finally installed which cost me approximately $1,000. The "installlers" kept saying they couldn't handle copper, the drain was broken and additionally after my plumber fixed the things that they said were unacceptable they broke one of the pieces of the drain that the plumber had just put in to make it meet the carriers spec, not to mention that they did not notice when they took out the old KitchenAid that there was a clamp attached to a counter top and the old dishwasher now there's a missing piece of my countertop. The picture attached shows the picture of the broken drain which the carrier or the installer left as an open drain under my sink and never advised me not to use my sink. I tried several times to try to make this right with AHS no luck my next call is to your maintenance people..thank you

This dishwasher works really well. I replaced another high end brand with this one and here are the things I really like about it and wish was different. The dishwasher does get things very clean. There are several different settings that are great, including a drying feature which not all have. This features a silverware tray which is really convenient. I don't like that the door is so stiff and I don't like that it doesn't have a feature that shows you a countdown of the washing cycle. I like that not only is there a washing tray for the silverware but there's also a stand up option for larger pieces. I also like that both the upper and lower racks can fit deeper pieces and that the catch is removeable to dump for easier cleaning. The finish is great and installation was not super difficult. It is on the noisier side.

My last dishwasher was a KitchenAid. I really wanted the new one to not have a handle and I was glad I was able to find one. This is a great dishwasher! It has three levels and washes the dishes amazingly. I can barely tell it is running and I love, love, love the third rack for large utensils. Highly Recommend!

Once we installed this I knew I was going to be in love with it! This has three levels, washes the dishes amazingly clean and is strong. I can barely tell it is running as it remains quite in the kitchen. A huge upgrade compared to our old dishwasher. Highly recommend kitchen aid.

KitchenAid dishwasher is top of the line. With easy installation we had no issues. This product is very durable. It has the capacity to clean all my dishes without any no concerns. No noise as my dog before would bark at the dishwasher.

Bought on Dec 1, 2025 from Lowes. They installed it on Dec 19. Used it for the first time on Dec 26 and it worked perfectly. Tried to use it again on Dec 28 and it stopped after 45 minutes. Tried resetting it by disconnecting power overnight. Tried it again next day and it ran about 30 minutes and quit. Next time, it ran 15 minutes and quit. Contacted Lowes on Jan 4 and they said would send someone to check it out. Tech came and looked at it on the 14th of Jan. Said problem is in the control board and ordered a replacement. Lowes called and said they would contact me on the 21st of Jan and let me know the status of the replacement.

Very nice and powerful dishwasher! Much bigger than my old one has a lot of room for dishes. Was very easy to install took is under 30 min . Extremely quiet. Cleans well and good water efficiency. I’m very happy with it .

Large capacity and the third shelf is awesome for large knives or cooking utensils. It pops open when it’s finished so it dries and it doesn’t get moldy mildew smell, which is really nice. It also runs very quiet.
brittany_krummen_514009/13/2025 09:23 PM
I recently owned a KitchenAid dishwasher, and overall, it’s a strong, dependable appliance that does what it’s supposed to do — and does it well. The first thing that stands out is how quiet it runs. Even on the heavy wash cycle, you can barely hear it. If you have an open kitchen or do work nearby, that’s a big plus. In terms of cleaning power, it performs great. Dishes, glasses, and even pots with dried food come out spotless most of the time. I especially like the third rack, which makes it easy to load utensils and smaller items without wasting space on the bottom racks. The stainless-steel interior also feels sturdy and gives it a high-end look. There are a few small downsides, though. The price is on the higher side compared to other brands, so it’s definitely an investment. Also, like many dishwashers, it sometimes struggles to completely dry plastic items — cups or containers might still have a few drops left on them after the cycle ends. Still, the pros outweigh the cons. It’s quiet, efficient, and looks great in the kitchen. If you want a reliable, long-lasting dishwasher and don’t mind paying a little more for quality, a KitchenAid dishwasher is a solid choice.
dmageod_871311/06/2025 09:14 PM
I have always been a fan of Whirlpool appliances and bought this Kitchenaid because its features suited me better than the available Whirlpools. It cleans just as well; that, I am satisfied about. What disappoints me about this, and all new similar products, is the projected longevity, or more accurately, the “shortgevity”. The factory rep. that I spoke with upon registering this product told me that these new machines were built to last only 3 years! My last dishwasher served my household 15+ years with never a service call necessary. So I will reserve my evaluation of this product for 15 years at which time you may request my satisfaction evaluation.

I bought this dish washer in January, do not use it often, kept on thinking I was doing something wrong. Because I would have trouble getting it to work. Then when I did get it working ,it would start nonstop beeping with in 5 min of working. Called the repair man he said the controller panel is bad, needs a new one. Repair man comes back replaces the control panel. Starts the machine then finds out it’s starts beeping again now it needs parts underneath?? Has not worked right since we got it.☹️. Paid over 900 dollars for a so called new dishwasher. And I always thought kitchen aid was supposed to be top notch. Still waiting on parts. Overall rating -5
Pam Heimburger05/08/2026 08:44 PM
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. The plumber had no issues installing it in the same place as our previous dishwasher. The Kitchenaid brand is a well made brand at a reasonable price. I enjoy all three racks. The top rack is great for kitchen utensils and doesn’t take up the other space. I like the moveable silverware holder. There are many options for settings including an auto option of ProWash. Easy to register the product too. I would definitely recommend.
cortnib1_839609/14/2025 03:12 PM
A brand I recognized and expected to be perfect. It isn’t, far from it - - I’d return it if I could. This dishwasher was a complete waste of money. Despite what it claims, it does NOT hold a lot of dishes, I’m single and can fit perhaps 2 days (4 meals) sometimes, depending on what I’m cooking. The way the racks are laid out make no sense, The rinse & express cycles are useless, bits of food remain on the dishes in both cycles, but the express cycle “bakes” them on. Do “real” people test these products? I will tell you, this dishwasher is not worth the money - don’t make my mistake ~ I never thought purchasing a “Kitchen Aid” anything would be a mistake - I was wrong.

I have install close to a half a dozen dishwashers over the years but this one was the most easy one yet. All the connections are up front. You don't need to flip the dishwasher on its side or pre install any of the hoses or the cable.Water onnector is similar to the ones washers use, the hose end connector that most Americans are familiar with, as was I. Electrical uses standard Romex connector and S O cable. Easy peasy. And when you're done, it's super quiet even in a modern home with an open form layout. And dishes, especially plastic, come out perfectly clean and dry after the door opens automatically.
