• I bought it as a gift for my relative and it's really good, the machine runs very smoothly, no strange noises. And it's installed via a phone app, he likes it.

• The Maytag VMAX6 series gas dryer performs very well when it comes to vibration and stability. Even during heavier loads like towels or bedding, the unit stays relatively steady with minimal shaking. The drum feels well-balanced, and compared to many standard dryers, it produces noticeably less noise and movement, which is great for homes where the laundry area is close to living spaces. From a safety standpoint, the dryer feels solid and dependable. It includes standard protections like automatic shutoff and moisture sensing, which helps prevent overheating or overdrying clothes. The exterior stays reasonably cool, and the door latch feels secure. As long as it’s properly installed with good ventilation, it gives a strong sense of safety during regular use. Durability is one of the standout aspects of this model. The build quality feels robust, especially with Maytag’s reputation for heavy-duty components. The drum and internal parts seem designed to handle frequent use without wearing down quickly. It doesn’t feel like a lightweight appliance—you can tell it’s built for long-term reliability, which is important for both homeowners and rental properties. In terms of settings, the dryer offers a good range of cycles that cover everyday needs without being overly complicated. You get options for different fabric types, drying levels, and timed cycles. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, even for someone who doesn’t want to deal with overly tech-heavy interfaces. The moisture sensor does a good job of adjusting drying time automatically, which helps save energy and protect clothes. Overall reliability is strong. The dryer performs consistently across loads and doesn’t require constant adjustments. It heats evenly, dries efficiently, and doesn’t leave damp spots when used with the correct settings. Over time, this kind of consistency is what makes it a dependable appliance, especially for households that rely on frequent laundry cycles.

• We recieved a discount through Influenster when purchasing this dryer. The timing was great, as our old dryer’s ability to regulate heat went out and we needed a new one. The dryer set up and install was easy, with basic step. The dryer has an app that you can connect to in order to get notifications when it’s done drying, see how long is left on a cycle, and to remote start it - it’s pretty cool. We’ve been testing the dryer for 2-3 months now and have not had any issues! This was a great purchase. As of now, no reviewing on maintenance as we haven’t had to have any completed.

• I've enjoyed using my new dryer, as much as anyone can enjoy doing laundry, LOL. It's roomy and has a great variety of settings for temperature and moisture levels, so that I can custom create a drying habitat to match any laundry load. The 'done' signal can be made loud enough that even I can hear it.

• This model replaced a Kenmore that came with the house in 2002. I replaced the heat coil and electrical components last year and it worked very well. We just bought a new Maytag washer and wasn't hard to decide to get the compatible dryer. Only been a few days, but both have had a workout and performed very well.

• We are very pleased with our new washer and dryer! We had purchased an all in one washer dryer and it worked well, but it took so long to complete the cycle. The new ones work great and we can do 3 loads almost as quickly as the previous one.

• We purchased this dryer and matching washer in fall 2025. We have been so pleased with both! The washer gets things so very clean, and the dryer gets loads dry in one cycle...sometimes in less than the full time because it senses how wet things are and the size of the load. Plus, the appliances themselves are not loud, and the end of cycle signal is just different enough that it alerts us to the end of the cycle.

• Purchased approximately three weeks ago, and there really isn't a lot to say about a dryer. It has several settings, one to fit every need, with the Maytag brand, you really can't go wrong. 10 year limited warranty on parts.

• Needed to replace old dryer and wanted a new one that did not require a long learning curve for operation. The Maytag model was the answer. New features were easy to use and like it very much.

• I purchased this dryer because my other Maytag dryer of 15 years gave up. The new dryer is a joy to use and works like a charm. Quiet and thorough in drying the clothes. Optional settings for drying are a big bonus.

• We decided to pursue Maytag based on its quality ratings. We are glad we did. Very happy with our purchase.

• Love it, but how can I clean the vent it’s so small. It keeps telling me it’s low on air flow. Other then that I love my new dryer.

• Maytag dryer has been efficient and reliable so far. It is relatively quiet and does a good job drying clothes and towels.
