• I like everything about it. Some people complain that the light is too dim, or that it's not LED, or the beep is too loud. I find all those features to be just right. The incandescent light creates a nice evening atmosphere, not too bright, but just right, in both settings. I like that it has much more power than my previous Whirlpool, and it takes half the time to warm up same cup of coffee in comparison to the old one. I also liked that the wall bracket and 2 orifices for bolts on top of it are identical in my old microwave and this new one, so I didn't have to re-do the measurements and drill new holes, but just replace the old Whirlpool with the new Maytag. I also like the Teflon coating on the inside- it's easy to clean. Despite being more powerful, it weighs noticeably less than the old one, so it was easier to install. It looks modern, and hopefully will last past its warranty, just as the old one, which lasted over 10 years.

• Hello, I just got it installed over the weekend and I use it everyday to heat things up. Please remember if your installing it, either have it installed professionally or get someone to help you install it. The Microwave has a very good templet for marking the wall and getting your bracket installed too.

• Easy installation and it looks great! I love the features and ease of use. The fan is so much more powerful than my old hood. I can’t think of a single thing that I don’t like about this microwave. Oh and the popcorn button actually works without burning and the defrost option works great without “cooking” the meat. Overall very very happy!

• We bought our Maytag Microwave on 12-23-26. It was delivered on 12-29-26 and it was not good. The side panel on the right side was not flush with the side panel. They ordered us a new one and this one has a slight imperfection on the same right-side panel, but it is not as bad as the first one. We decided to go ahead and keep it.

• So far so good, we really like our new Whirlpool over the range microwave. We finally found the one that has a button to open the door, our older microwave had the standard handle and members of our family are short and over time the door went off center and made the unit come on by itself. Please keep making models with a push button for the door.

• I purchased this microwave in November 2025. So far I like it and it works well. I thought I wanted one without a handle but now, I think, if I had to purchase another one it would have a handle. I like the look without one, but it’s not as convenient for me.

• We bought this about a month ago and it works great! It wasnt to difficult to put in either since we had an existing over the stove microwave! We went a few months without one and its a complete joy to have a working microwave again!!

• This replaced a smaller built-in over our old range and fit better. Works better too. This completes our all Maytag house including the kitchen and laundry room. It was our 60th weddig anniversary to have all Maytag appliances.

• We bougjt this microwave on November 13th and it was delivered and installed on November 18th. Having it only a week is not much time to really tell how great it is. However, so far it is working just fine! Our stove went out after 23 years so when we went to buy another one we decided to buy this microwave to match the new stove, even though the other one still worked. There was a special when buying more than one appliance. Both the old stove and microwave were Maytag appliances and purchased at the same time in 2002! I hope these new appliances last that long! I have always liked the Maytag brand for its reliability!

• I checked reviews on microwave ovens and Maytag didn't have any issues. And I like the fact that it's made in America. The quality seems very good. I'm going to recommend this brand to everyone I know.
