Product Features

Wrinkle Shield™ Option

After the cycle ends, help keep wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics with the Wrinkle Shield™ Option. It keeps clothes tumbling for up to 150 minutes after the cycle ends or until you open the door.

Moisture Sensing

Moisture Sensing

Two sensors closely monitor inside moisture and air temperatures to deliver the right results for each load. When fabrics are evenly dry and air reaches ideal temperatures, the cycle stops, helping prevent over- and under-drying.

Timed Dry

Timed Dry

Take control of your time and the dryness level of your load. Set the control for 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes when a damp load needs a little extra dry time or when using a drying rack.

End of Cycle Signal

End of Cycle Signal

Know when your cycle is finished with an end of cycle buzzer.

Air Only Cycle

Fluff and refresh loads or air out delicates with a cycle that tumbles your items with no heat.

Long Vent Design

Enjoy the same great drying performance even when installation requires a longer vent system, like in apartment or condo complexes, with the increased length of the air vent in this dryer.

Quick Dry Cycle

Dry a small load quickly or customize settings to add more time. Plus, you can choose to remember your settings for your next load of laundry.

7.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity

With a 7.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity dryer drum, there’s plenty of room to easily handle the large loads you washed in the matching top load washer.

Interior Light

See every item in the dryer with the Interior Light.

Wrinkle Control Cycle

The Wrinkle Control Cycle helps to minimize wrinkles by using lower temperatures during the cycle, then defaulting to using the Wrinkle Shield™ Option for continued tumbling after the cycle ends.

  • Dryer is new and both works and dries as expected. We have about a 50 foot vent run with a 360 loop two 90 degree turns and an approximate 90 degree roof vent. The dryer blower motor handles the vent run without a problem. Based on previous Whirlpool appliances, we expect the dryer to be problem free for years.

  • This is a new purchase for my home . I made a great choice.

    Dryer03/02/2024 02:38 PM

  • Terrible. Dryer was brand new and broke down in less than a month using it. Doesn’t dry the clothes. And whirlpool customer service is trash. They are mailing me a dryer test kit (takes 5-7 business days to arrive) for ME to test the dryer and let them know what’s wrong with it. So in a brand new house, in a new city, with a brand new dryer, we are having to go to the laundromat. Absolutely terrible product. Should have kept my LG

    Dontbuythisdryer!03/20/2025 02:24 AM

  • The builder bought the cheapest dryer possible. I still gave it an average rating, because it does dry the clothes and it doesn't take forever. The unit is light and travels the floor so it has come away from the dryer vent twice. I think the builder has fixed it now. It can't bump into the washer, because the washer has a tray under it so it can't leak onto the floor, so the dryer just bends the tray as it pushes toward the washer. I have been warned on closing the door so I don't bend the cheap prong. I just have to be careful.

  • Gets the job done - at an extreme noisy cost. It’s pretty embarrassing when guest are over. The fans in these dryers make the dryer vibrate so much my whole house hears it and shakes part of the house. It’s ridiculous - I have warranty but they can’t even fix it stating it’s because of the fan. They should provide vibration pads for these or change the fan I’ve never had a dryer this noisy . The pads online for the good ones run from 40-50$ bucks so if you are having the same issue try the pads it may or may not help.

    Steph02/25/2026 11:41 AM

  • Just got this today and installed ourselves. First we noticed the door doesn't seal properly and is bent outward, then when we started it it started making super loud grinding noises and started smoking. There's a huge gap between the front panel and the side panel as if the front got pulled from the other pieces. So my husband started messing with it and found that the lint trap on top was loose, moving about an inch front and back, and rubbing on the drum. Super disappointed for the money spent.

    LMac06/14/2024 02:08 PM

  • It’s extremely loud, you have to slam the door for it to shut. Overall I miss my GE dryer. Gonna see if I can buy something to put under the dryer to see if it can be a little more quiet.

    KP4610/20/2024 01:30 AM

  • It dries the clothing; but it is so loud. It was provided with a new condo, but not my choice.

    Jean02/28/2024 04:04 AM

  • This dryer came with our new home so it is brand new. It dries just fine but is super loud.

    ddens01/22/2025 03:58 AM

  • The noise is incredible. It sounds like a locomotive idling at the train station

    Jimbo12/16/2024 05:43 PM

  • The machine makes much more noise than I would have hoped for

    Bobbyp405/13/2023 01:57 AM

  • It is a high capacity dryer, which I like. It does mean the drum makes a large hum drying, but it doesn't bother me. It is easy to set, not a lot of digital displays, but one can choose to time dry or dry by moisture content. The only thing I have to get used to is that it is a sloped top, and you cannot use it as a shelf because detergent and clothes will fall off it if it is next to a vibrating washing machine. Good machine!

    Cindy09/30/2025 01:35 AM

  • The first time I used it resulted in some water puddling underneath, nothing since. There's a couple pressure dings in the left front corner. I suspect the builder who provided this when I bought a new home acquired seconds or blemished units at discount, or the workman who repaired the window reveal above it climbed on the machine, causing the dings. Shame you think you're getting something brand new and it's banged up already.

    gvojtko10/17/2025 04:52 AM

  • I've enjoyed this dryer, especially compared to an older set from my previous home. It dries the clothes very well and quickly. It is easy to understand and I love all the various options it gives depending on what your drying. I will say it is a bit loud however, if the laundry door is closed it's not an issue and doesn't sound any louder than having your dishwasher on. I would recommend this set to someone.

    Rose08/19/2025 02:00 PM

  • I am very disappointed about my dryer hat makes such a loud noise from day one when I told the rep they asked me to go to the dryer and put it on while on the phone and said that noise is normal. I have purchased plenty of appliances and dryers and this never happened befor! I am not satisfied with this product! I believe I received a damaged product when they moved it into my home

    Ms Speakman09/02/2025 02:46 AM

  • I’ve had the dryer a month as part of a new move-in ready home. The dryer doesn’t dry the clothes completely. The hot air and moisture in condensing at the duct join, the towels and cotton clothes are not dried. They have been cycled a few times without success. This piece of equipment has turned into the largest humidifier smelling like Bounce I have ever seen.

    Looking for a dryer02/28/2026 05:15 PM

  • This dryer has worked well once. The "moisture sensing" capabilities are lacking except for thin clothing such as scrubs. I have to either use high heat on all the laundry, choose bulky items as the default setting or run the dryer cycle twice. If i have to dry comforters or towels, I have to run the bulky dryer cycle twice. Buyer beware.

    Unimpressed10/17/2025 11:59 AM

  • Terrible dryer. It has made noises since we bought the house that it came in. Then after 1 month the main board went on it and it will take another week to get a replacement. It already took 2 weeks for the initial repair appointment so now I go 3 weeks without a dryer.

    Mick05/24/2024 01:58 AM

  • This dryer was the developer's choice for installing in all the units of a new residential building in Florida. This model dryer is an outdated design and noisy so I am at least relieved that the dryer is in an enclosed room.

    Nona202411/25/2024 10:17 AM

  • I would like to be able to set a specific time from the timings list, but when I hit the Timings button all of them flash at once, and the Sense light is on, and I cannot turn that off. Am I doing something wrong?

    MichaelK08/07/2025 02:09 AM

  • The dryer came with my new house. It is brand new. It dries well but the noise level is rather loud to me. I know dryers are not all dryers are not all quiet this to me is louder than my old one a Samsung .

    Lena11/19/2025 09:14 AM

  • This model came preinstalled in our new home. I was just excited to have a dryer that has a working timer, but we've grown to really like it. The choices for drying are great and it's easy to use.

    Tanner2603/15/2026 04:23 PM

  • We just tried it for the first time...the dryer takes over four hour and the cloth was still wet...we requested a service and still waiting for them to fix it.not a good experience .

    Mahi12/10/2025 04:54 PM

  • This was one of the best purchases that I’ve made. I bought this drier a month ago. It is fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family.
