Moisture Sensing
Two sensors closely monitor inside moisture and air temperatures to deliver the right results for each load. When fabrics are evenly dry and air reaches ideal temperatures, the cycle stops, helping prevent over- and under-drying.
Wrinkle Shield™ Option
After the cycle ends, help keep wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics with the Wrinkle Shield™ Option. It keeps clothes tumbling for up to 2.5 hours after the cycle ends or until you open the door.
Timed Dry
Take control of your time and the dryness level of your load. Set the control for 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes when a damp load needs a little extra dry time or when using a drying rack.
End of Cycle Signal
Know when your cycle is finished with an end of cycle buzzer.
Air Only Cycle
Fluff and refresh loads or air out delicates with a cycle that tumbles your items with no heat.
7.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity
With a 7.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity dryer drum, there’s plenty of room to easily handle the large loads you washed in the matching top load washer.
Quick Dry Cycle
Dry a small load quickly or customize settings to add more time. Plus, you can choose to remember your settings for your next load of laundry.
Interior Light
See every item in the dryer with the Interior Light.
Wrinkle Control Cycle
The Wrinkle Control Cycle helps to minimize wrinkles by using lower temperatures during the cycle, then defaulting to using the Wrinkle Shield™ Option for continued tumbling after the cycle ends.

I bought a new Whirlpool dryer from RC Willey in April of 2023. I found a small chip in the paint inside of the dryer. It was small, so I wasn't worried about it. But in June it gotten bigger.I contacted RC Willey and was told paint chipping is cosmetic and not cover through RC Willey. They suggested I get in touch with Whirlpool. I spoke with Whirlpool and they agreed to send out Lake Appliance Repair to fix it. The tech inspected the dryer and said "no clear signs of cause for paint to chip away" and closed the ticket. He said it would be a over all cost of $161.07 to repair. I am disappointed, i just bought a brand new whirlpool dryer and whirlpool wont cover the defects in their pain job. I have own two Whirlpool washers and three Whirlpool dryers, but this will be my last Whirlpool product.

Do not buy! Waste of money! I had less than 60 days and already chips coming off of drum! Contacted whirlpool who said basically oh well and we sell cover up paint! I have a dryer previously (for 13 years… only got rid of to get matching washer and dryer set since I needed a new washer) but it had NO DRUM DAMAGE and was used like I said daily for 13 years! Super disappointed in this d rug er as well as “warranty” and customer service! Dryer is loud! Most people comment on it not drying their clothes as well. Go with another brand!!! Also, dryer is loud!

I bought a few weeks ago and could not be happier. It dries towels faster than any dryer I have ever owned. Highly recommend..!!!

I purchased this dryer about two weeks ago. So far seems like a good dryer it does the job. But I don’t like how the lint filter doesn’t fit properly and it’s hard to get in and out for cleaning.

I hesitated at 1st because of how the door open but with my 1st wash, it was love it! I use the door as a folding table making it real easy to load and unload the dryer. It compliments myge easher perfectly! And love all the settings especially the wrinkle control setting!

I’ve had my new dryer a few weeks now. Am overall happy with its features & performance. Pros- quick dry time, easy to navigate controls, bright drum light, & forward open door that keeps cloths from falling onto floor. Cons- the top is dome shaped, if I had seen this in person, I probably would have not have chosen it. The end of cycle buzzer isn’t very loud but the wrinkle shield option makes up for it. It’s taking some getting used to. Other than thI am very happy with this dryer. Now if it last as long as my first front open Whirlpool, I’ll be a happy consumer.

Live this dryer! Very easy to use and seems to be sturdy. I like the quick dry option to save on energy.

I picked up this dryer two weeks ago and it’s working wonderful

I am a senior citizen and not tech savvy. I purchased this dryer when my old one started making the same sounds I do when I try to stand up. The delivery man installed it, showed me how to operate it, and then “quizzed” me to make sure I understood how to operate it. The dryer holds a lot of clothes. My favorite thing is that the lint trap is accessible on the top of the machine. My only complaint is that the top has a slope to it, so when I put something, like Bounce sheets on it, they can fall off if the machine is on. Other than that, it works great.
sswinter108/02/2022 04:42 AM
So far so good!! My only disappointment is that consumers no longer get a nice User Manual…just a flimsy newsprint one that really says nothing at all about the various settings. Instead an email arrived this week with SOME info on them. When you pay $500 for a machine it should come with a decent User Manual! I also wish I could push the machine farther back against the wall but the hose to the outside is not very long and that prevents my being able to lift the venting hose up to prevent it being squeezed between the machine and the back wall.
EROESQ02/15/2025 08:09 AM
Most annoyed that the top of the dryer is slanted down and most anything you place on it slips off onto floor… like my phone when I was positioning to take pictures of the dryer or a clothing item you need to air dry. Previously this model was the Cabria which also displayed a time count down to finish dry time and that was an awesome feature. Miss the door widow to see clothes spinning dry so one could fix a clumping of items maybe a blanket etc. Disappointed in GE takeover of Whirlpool and I believe the cheapening of Whirlpool products by GE. Purchased in Dec of 2022. It dryers clothes so 2 stars. 1star off for each of features lacking & mentioned above.

We bought this over a month ago and have been very happy with our purchase. The dryer is large enough to handle quite a bit of clothes/towels. We only use the delicate cycle when drying our clothes and have noticed things come out slightly damp at times. So we do have to run a second cycle, but when drying towels on the towel setting it comes out perfectly dry the first time.very easy to change around the settings and pretty straight forward. Overall a great purchase that we are happy with.

Love this automatic sensing dryer. Comes with multiple options to set based on the load and clothes. My dryer sits next to my bedroom but still this was super comfortable to use at all times as it doesn’t make much noise. And the energy consumption is comparatively love from my previous dryer. Also I see the clothes are less wrinkled, making most of them ready to use without going for steam iron. All in all love this dryer making it easy to handle everyday laundry.

I bought my dryer and washer set from a rent to own retailer in my local town. Upon arrival they delivers took it from the truck in the box from the manufacturer. They installed my dryer correctly and left my home. I noticed there was some blue tape on each of the front corners of my dryer. Upon removing this tape I noticed deep scratches on the corners down to the metal of the appliance. Obviously these scratches came before shipment from the manufacturer. Shame on you whirlpool! Sending appliances to your retailers and forcing them to deal with their customers who will be angry to have damaged merchandise. Yes my appliance works as it should however the scratches left from the manufacturer are shameful. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The new American model: 3 people care- No Bod Ee!!! Things aren’t built to last like the good ol days. Purchased this from a liquidation store on February 3/4th of this year, used it once n it wouldn’t work again. Simple as that. Tried contacting warranty, Whirlpool wouldn’t honor warranty due to it being purchased at a discount store. Lesson learned.

Always love how durable whirlpool products are! Most of my appliances are from whirlpool and they hold up very well. This dryer is no exception. It's simple and does the job of making my clothes dry and clean. With 7 cubic ft, i can dry lots of stuff including my beddings! They all come out perfectly dry and soft!

I just purchased my new dryer, whirlpool ,I love it . It's quiet not real big. I've had a lot of different brand dryers, this is the best, easy to get worked on to if need be. Large drum inside too. The setting on the dryer, I love them energy efficient. I'm for sure recommending whirlpool. Big thank you

We acquired our dryer when we bought a brand new townhome. We have been so pleased with it! We love the speed of drying - fast - so it doesn’t waste electricity. Also, it’s very quiet. We wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Purchased a set about a month ago. Takes less time to dry than our old 10+ yr dryer. I did notice this morning there is a light inside the control panel that blinks... hmm?? I would buy it again.

I am not a happy camper! I bought this new dryer at Lowe's, and just brought it home. The first thing I did was install the 4 plastic feet. They're supposed to just screw into the bottom four corners, but on two of them the metal opening they screw into was not formed to the right thread pitch, and it SHREDDED the threads on those 2 feet. (See photos) I called Customer Service, and they're sending me a set of new feet, but it's going to take 2 WEEKS! I had to hammer the misshapen openings into a fair approximation of what the proper thread should be, but I may have to tinker with it some more when the new feet arrive. Then, I also noticed on the right side of the machine, there was some black weather-strip sticking out of the gap where the top meets the bottom part of the dryer shell. (See photo) I loosened and lifted up the top, and repositioned the weather-strip. I can't tell you if the dryer works well. I haven't even been able to turn it on yet, and will have to wait for the new feet to complete the installation. I can say, that I am very displeased with the Quality Control of this product!

We bought this dryer in April, and so far we love it. We are a family of 5 human and 4 cats; we do ALOT of laundry. This dryer is able to keep up no problem. It has a large capacity drum and dries even heavy towels quickly. The controls are simple to figure out, and there aren't alot of extra useless knobs or features. More bells and whistles just means more things that will break. I hope it lasts a long time because it's my favorite dryer I've owned so far.

Moisture sensor really does a good job in drying heavy items. Seldom have to run the clothes through a second drying cycle. They never over dry until hot to the touch. The only complaintsis having to press down onto two "on" Buttons to start the machine. And other is the top of dryer is slopped. You cannot set anything on top of the dryer. You cannot fold laundry on it because everything slides off!!! A waste of a work surface. I wish I had noticed that crazy design before I made the purchase. The third is the strong paint odors from inside the drum. It's been over two weeks since we bought it and the smell hasn't completely gone away.

I bought this a little over a year ago and have had so many issues. This dryer is a little over a year old and had fully broken twice. The first time was a few months in and the drum was off kilter due to a wap of clothes getting caught between the fin and the door, and bent something- turns out the fun wasn't fully connected and when it turned it was super loud because it was rubbing against something, was still covered by a warranty so the repairman replaces the entire drum and parts. Works okay afterwards until about 4 months later the drum starts getting loud again, then snap, crackle, pop—something cracks and now the drum won't turn and this dryer is now worthless and I'm back to using the laundromat. Kids clothes and sheets apparently are too much for this dryer. Quality seems super cheap, the white coating is all scratched off inside, I think from some pocket change from my kiddo and its been loud from day 1- and continued even after repairs. I am really burned with Whirlpool. Of course the one-year warranty expired a few months ago and looking at service charges that will cost the same as buying a new unit. I should have renewed it, but now I just want to replace this lemon with another brand. Stay away from this model!
