• After 1 week of use, so far so good. Easy to install, with a little help from Youtube. This was a replacement so I had to purchase a new gas line kit at Menard's for $35.

• Great appliance, only had this product a coupleof months now. Burners heat up quickly and are efficient. Space between the grill rack are good. Overall still loving this cook top.

• Bought my house new. The cooktop was already installed. I like the larger burners in front right and middle. Very convenient for me. My only negative remark is that the control knobs sit higher than the grates. A cookie sheet placed on a grate causes the ignitors to function which is irritating. Would like the knobs to be slightly below the grate level.

• We have had this stove for a few weeks now. I like better than our old one. Easier to clean. I like the controls better. It heats water quicker. Overall, a very good purchase.

• Doing a complete kitchen remodel. Still waiting on countertops, but the contractor installed our new cooktop so we could cook Christmas dinner. We absolutely loved using our new cooktop.

• My wife and I debated about replacing our existing 30” Maytag black cooktop with another 30” or 36”. Another 30” would have been much easier. We are so glad we went with the 36”! So much more cooking area and she loves it! Now for the new backsplash!

• We have had this cooktop for nearly six months and are extremely happy with it. I love that the burners can be regulated very precisely to the temperature you want, and that the large center burner can go from boiling a large pot of water for pasta quickly down to barely keeping a small pan warm. It also looks great. Clean-up is pretty easy, though, as with any cooktop, cleaning around the burners can be tricky, and, yes, because the grates have overlapping parts (a positive), you need to remove at least one side grate in order to clean underneath the center one. Not a big deal. If I could suggest to Maytag what to change next time around, it would be to make the dimples and humps on which the backs of the grates are seated on a lot deeper than they are, which would make it easier to situate them. In advance of purchasing, I was really concerned about this; it’s turned out to be much less of an issue that I expected. Slightly more annoying, but far from being a deal-breaker, is that the tops of the knobs are exactly level with the top of the grates. As a result, if you pull a pot back toward you a bit, even though most of it is resting on the grates, the front will rest on a knob or two and the ignition tries to spark. Of course, the burner won’t accidentally come on because you would also have to have turned the knob, but it’s a bit irritating to be limited in how you can shift pots around on the cooktop. If the knobs were a half inch shorter, the issue wouldn’t exist. In no way do these minor matter make us question our purchase. We spent an enormous amount of time in detailed examination of other cooktops in a similar price range, and I am certain there is nothing that rivals this one.
