It is impossible to convey how happy I am with this Maytag cooktop, it is superb! The distance between the burner and the grates improves the efficiency of the cooktop dramatically, as compared to my other cooktop. Actually there is no comparison to any other cooktop I have ever used! A beautiful addition to my kitchen, and since the burners are not embedded into the cooktop it is so much easier to clean! Wish I hadn't waited so long to get the Maytag, best choice ever!

Just got the unit installed a week ago but so far I'm very happy with the cooktop. The burners are set up differently from my old unit so I'm gettin used to which ones I use most. It seems much stronger than the old unit meaning it heat things faster and it looks great!

I like the heavy duty grates on my stove top, which still allows the flames heat my pots, without harming or warping the pots? Like my previous stove top. Would highly recommend the model

This gas cook top replaces one that we bought when our house was built, It is better in so many ways, Little things like ease of use and cleaning around the control knobs to removing the various cracks and crevices that collect grease and crud and are impossible to get clean. We love it!

My old Maytag cooktop had ceramic grates and electronic ignitors.. Over time the ceramic began to chip away and didn't look as nice. However, the real real I purchased a new cooktop was because my coffee pot overflowed and water got into the electronics and shorted out the ignitors. For a long time I has to use a lighter to light the cooktop. after a while I wearied of constantly lighting the cooktop with the hand lighter. It took me a while to get used to the larger sized cooktop. The grates were cast iron and higher than the last one. However, now that I've learned how it operates, I love it. The only issue I had was that it was a bit expensive. Nonetheless, I don't expect to ever have to buy another one.

This is a great cooktop! Plenty of burners, multiple sizes. The space between burners is perfect! No scrunching of pans or pan overhang when cooking a big meal.

This was a warranty replacement. I was thinking it wouldn’t be as good as the original but it is much better. I love cooking/eating bacon and the splattered grease can be difficult to clean up as it tends to smear streaks on the surface. But this new cooktop is very easy to clean, the grates are not as heavy as the previous one and the surface just wipes clean with a paper towel and leaves on grease residue.

Love the burners grids. No faulty welds to cause uneven levels. My pots and pans sit firm on the stop top. The burners even the smallest do not go low enough. They remain hot even on the lowest setting and I can’t find a diffuser thick enough to avoid burning.
