• I’m so excited for this whirlpool washer! The radiant silver finish is beautiful. The antimicrobial gasket is genius and will definitely help keep it fresh. It’s WiFi capable (I am having a little bit of trouble getting mine connected though). There is a dry drum cycle to remove any leftover moisture after use but I was surprised to see that it’s a 4 hour cycle - that feels a little unnecessary. It works as expected and the noise level is average . I love that it has a self clean feature. I’m excited and grateful to have gotten this

• The washer and dryer do a great job. They are beautiful to look at and easy to use with the factory settings. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the Wi-Fi / Bluetooth setup and functionality leaves a lot to be desired. It's continually dropping the Wi-Fi and having to be reconnected to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi which is a pain in the butt. Overall we are happy but I wish they could do something with the Wi-Fi app. It seems like there should be some way to adjust temperatures etc without having to go into your phone ... that part I do not like

• Washes the Dickenson out of everything. It's kinda scary to see the drum whip around like it does. Whole machine sways on part of the spin cycle. I do find I have to use more detergent than I used to in my old Maytag. Probably not the right HE it requires. Cycle w steam takes 3 loooong hours and I don't even know what it's doing. Manuals are poorly written. I can't find the lint filter at all. It's pedestal is kinda cheap feeling. Rough to open. Doesn't glide nicely like my Samsung base (and it has bad ratings). So I'll just not use it. Takes forever to get phone support agent. No tech support how-to prompt at all. So machine great. Company meh.

• I saved to buy a BRAND NEW front loader, it has been NOTHING but the WORST PURCHASE EVER!!! It rocks FEROCIOUSLY and after the cycle is complete the drum remains FULL OF WATER as well as the compartment whr the detergent goes!! I was told by the whirlpool agent that it is supposed to be the Top Of The Line for whirlpool, The Best!! It’s ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and no one seems to have any idea what is going on with it!!!

• Do not purchase from Whirlpool. The quality is bad, customer service is bad and you will end up loosing a lot of money. I am very very upset and frustrated. I’m in chronic heart failure so this is very stressful. Finally received washer & dryer set Jan 29, 2025, two months after ordered on Nov 20, 2024. Front loader washer leaking from the top of glass door down door after washer delivered. Additionally, makes a very loud continuous clapping sound during the wash cycle. Called to have it replaced next day and got the run around. Spoke to several customer care reps. Said Whirlpool doesn’t replace. Then I asked for a returned, but was informed I didn’t qualify for a returned and my money back because I had washed my clothes in it. Yada, yada, yada. Asked me to watch a video before they go to next steps. Told them repeatedly, I just want the washer returned. Refused.

• We were looking for a washer and dryer set for awhile and watched a bunch of videos that compared all of the major brands and read a ton of reviews from consumers on their purchases on Lowes and Home Depot. There were not a lot of reviews on this particular Whirlpool, Model 6720, because it is relatively new, so I hope this helps others in their decision making. We were really wanting the antimicrobial features that GE offered but with the quality that LG has a reputation of having - another deciding factor was that the washer had to have their coin catching filter in the front with easy access - and we found all of these qualities in the Whirlpool model 6720. We got the Volcano Black option and like the esthetics but what is really amazing is how quiet they are and how simple it is to operate them. We have only had them for a couple of weeks but we are proud that we did our homework and research as we are not disappointed and actually look forward to doing our laundry. Our washer and dryer run efficiently and are doing a better job getting our clothes clean and dried than our previous GE ever did. Whirlpool used to be the best of the best and for whatever reason they may have slipped down the rankings but I believe that the 6720 model will restore their reputation and put them back on top as it offers the best of all brands - and although we have not used their app to control our washer and dryer, it is nice to know that they are keeping up with the times - eventually we may get around to using it. Overall we are satisfied with our choice - it is competitively priced, has a decent warranty and when I called to register the warranty, I actually spoke to a live person that offered great customer service. Most of all we have peace of mind knowing that we do not have to worry about mold and mildew in our wash machine and that it has a self cleaning/drying mode that will keep our clothes clean.

• I have had my new Whirlpool Washing Machine about a week. It appears to be soundly constructed and is quite. It also works smoothly with the Whirlpool app. The time remaining indicator may be misleading if the machine senses items are still to damp after spin and may enter another spin cycle and show 1 minute remaining for the duration, until complete - this could go on for some time, particularly with blankets that both hold water and tend to be out of balance during the spin. The machine is quite and is intuitive to use for those used to digital operations of such machines. So far, I am happier than I was with my previous LG front loader.

• Door is out of an alignment, loose hinge with too much play in it. All is plastic, that haevy door hinge must be metal.

• I LOVE my new Whirlpool front loading washer! I had front loaders for over 20 years and then 2 years ago made the mistake of switching to a top loader (different maker) and regretted it. About a month ago we got our new front loader and it works beautifully - from the choice of cycles to the tune it plays when it's done. I also love being able to use an app on my phone to see how it's doing and can program a cycle with it. And they are beautiful machines!! The only thing I would like to see is to be able to add an extra rinse cycle. THANK YOU WHIRLPOOL!!!

• I am now 10 weeks without a functioning washer. It arrived defective early 2025 and I have been trying to get this NEW unit fixed since. Calling into customer service does nothing. We are in a continuous loop of wasting my time calling every week to tell me the parts should arrive next week. At this point one would think they'd replace the washer but no, they just keep telling me one more week and now here we are in March. I paid for a product warranty but they refuse to address it. Do not accept a warranty that allows Whirlpool to leave you indefinitely waiting for parts, on a NEW unit!

• I bought my washer. It was delivered on September 11. I wasn’t able to get it hooked up until September 26 because we weren’t able to move into our house when it got delivered we hooked it up. It poured water all over my laundry room we called the repair person came out and under warranty. The drum is cracked and it will take at least six weeks to get it repaired. I want to return it when I called and waited on the phone for an hour and a half with whirlpool, they said I cannot return it. I have to get it repaired. This is not acceptable. This is a brand new washer. I’ve never used it. And now I can’t use it for two more months

• It’s my best washer, it washes the clothes in 1 go and they come out clean and fresh. When the machine starts there is no noise, and it’s very quiet. It’s very energetic efficient. The only bad thing was the installation, the guys who came to drop off didn’t install it and I had to pay guys from outside to install the washer and dryer but I am not mad at it. I am happy that I got this best machine

• I have had this washer for a week--the cleaning capability is there, but I'm having a heck of a time with the digital controls to turn it on. I find no help with the manuals. When I place my finger on the power button, sometimes it goes on, sometimes it doesn't. There is a "soft reset" message and a "restarting" message and an hourglass symbol. Nowhere do I find what these are for. The washer itself might be fine, but I'm unhappy with the controls and the lack of information online and in the manuals to address the problem.

• Measured the drum and found it to be a bit smaller then advertised. Delivery and install were questionable at best. “As leveling and hose hook up where part of installation “ when my wife asked if they leveled the washer … he replied it levels itself…. I got home from work it was so out of level I think my almost fell off the machine. Aside from that it washes the cloths ok. Also

• This washer is great. Low noise level compared to my last washer. Has lots of different options for clothes, bedding, etc. my only problem was setting it up required using an app and I wasn’t a fan of that.

• After developing a leak in our prior front loading washer, we needed to replace it quickly. Capacity, cleaning ability, quietness (since it's on the 2nd floor fairly close to the bedrooms), and easy access to the filter were all metrics I looked for in a new washer. This one seemed to fit all of my requirements. So far, it seems to be meeting or exceeding my hopes. It's a lot quieter than our last one. The drum is a little smaller but still meets our needs. Wash cycles are a little different than before so it took a few tries to adjust to the new style. It's only been a month now but hopefully it will continue to exceed our expectations.

• I am surprised how long it takes to get it going with each load. You press the on button and wait for 10 seconds for it to boot up. Than you wait for it to get booted up. Than you have to check that all of the items are right for that cycle. ie: extra rinse, warm water, spin cycle is fast or what ever. On wash day I think that I loose at least 10 to 20 minutes out of my life that I will never get back. NOT happy with the having to wash out the washer or it will have a musty smell. this is my 6th or 7th Whirlpool, not happy with it so it will probably be my last.

• I bought this machine thinking Whirlpool is a great brand. however, it broke after 8 months only, still under warranty, but whirlpool doesnt have the parts to fix it. I am already in my second week without a washing machine and they still cant tell me when the parts will be in and when i should expect the repair. I can order a pencil from anywhere around the world and know exactly where it is, but Whirlpool, can not tell me any info on the parts. the technician tells them (i am not allowed to speak to him) that the parts are back-ordered. the customer service claims that all parts are not back ordered. i am expected to wait 7-10 BUSINESS days, before i can call them again? its crazy.
