• Whirlpool 7.0 cu ft. Electric dryer with auto sensing in wrinkle guard. Don't let the size of this drum fool you. Decent size family puy all towels and hands towels in and the dry time was fast, leaving them feeling soft and fluffy. I did slightly pack the dryer to see how well it could dry and how long, and I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient it dried. Even dried a king-size, heavy winter comforter in great time. Nice looking dryer and very clean. Seems to be great quality and easy to learn to use. Large lint trap.

• Received product intact without damages, This Whirlpool dryer is amazing! The performance is awesome! Quiet when in use and the tone when finished is subtle, just the right amount of beep to let you know the load is finished, the convenient dial is a plus and the settings are so easy to use, energy efficient and durable for light load and bulky loads.

• Ive had this dryer for a bit now, and I love it! I haven't had any issues at all. I love the auto sensing feature so it doesn't run longer than it needs to. My clothes have all came out nice, dry, and wrinkle free. Zero heat smell either. Normal on the noise level, nothing different than other electric dryers. I am very happy and hope this will last me a long while!

• I’m loving this whirlpool dryer. Everything dries pretty quickly, even towels and comforters. You can fit a lot in which is nice when washing bigger items. I do like the auto sensing feature that makes the dryer just more efficient overall. Clothes come out wrinkle free which is amazing because I hate ironing! Highly recommend for anyone upgrading.

I really think that the new dryer is so efficient. In drying, my clothes without overdraying and damaging material. I couldn't be happier with our purchase.

• Just installed the dryer and it was an easy install, not too heavy. They run quite and dry the cloths quickly. I used blankets and delicates in different loads and nothing was damaged.

• I really like that the machine has so many drying options. So far I've used quite a few with great results.

• Bought this dryer a few months and the sensing mode actually works! Have had other dryers that this option never got the clothes dry but this dryer does. My new dryer has many options to make sure those loads with a few bulky items that need more dry time get the time to dry. The “more dry” setting gives an added boost from the normal setting to dry the harder to get dry waist band or thicker item in the load. The towels setting really gets the towels dry. This dryer has all the options I need to get all my laundry dry the first time. I no longer need to set more time on a dryer to get my clothes dry. I am so happy with this dryer.

• We bought this nice simple dryer to go with the washer as we wanted the set. I wish we would have just kept the old dryer. This one worked for about a week. Then it wouldn't even turn on. Tried calling Whirlpool, that isn't happening unless you have about an hour to waste. Called them everyday for about 12 days. I had to hang up on waiting most the time as I had other things to do. The call back never worked for me. When they called back it rang once and then were gone. Finally got though and finally got someone to look at it. It has been about 45 days and we are still waiting for the scheduled appointment for the new parts to be installed. So yeah, one star as it still doesn't work.

• I received this product for free in exchange for a honest option. I’ve been using this Whirlpool dryer for a while now, and it has been a reliable upgrade for my laundry routine. The auto-sensing feature works really well—it stops the cycle when clothes are dry, which saves energy and prevents overheating. The Wrinkle Shield option is a lifesaver when I can’t get to the laundry right away, since it keeps clothes from coming out wrinkled. It’s spacious enough to handle bulky loads like comforters, and the vented design gets the job done quickly. Noise level is very reasonable, and it doesn’t shake or rattle like some dryers I’ve had in the past. The design is simple and clean, easy to match with my washer. Overall, it’s efficient, durable, and worth the investment.

• I purchased this dryer to replace a Whirlpool dryer that was over 10 years old. The old dryer was still working fine, but I needed a new washer and purchased them as a set. I love this dryer! The capacity is amazing and my clothes are practically wrinkle free when removed from the dryer.

• My old dryer worked fine (so I thought) but after having this one run a few cycles now I see what I was missing out on! This machine compared to my old one cuts the drying time and almost half! That alone makes me think the energy savings are going to make this machine pay for itself for most people in a relatively quick amount of time. Additionally, it’s also very quiet so I don’t have to have my TV cranked up to max volume anymore! Strongly recommend!

• Our Maytag dryer was 17 years old with a defective control panel and extra long drying times. So we visited the local Lowe's and the salesperson recommended this Whirlpool dryer which we immediately purchased at a reasonable price. Yesterday I ran 3 loads through the new Whirlpool dryer and it ran great! It is simple to operate, relatively quiet, and has multiple settings based on type of laundry items. We are definitely Whirlpool fans since we have a Whirlpool gas range and a Whirlpool washer, both of which also work well. Hopefully we will get many more years of reliable service from this excellent dryer!

• Used dryer five times and each time the check vent light came on. Venting had been professionally clean prior, with new tube installed. The installers came back 4 times and said it was fine (it was not!!). Whirlpool sent a vent test, a flimsy piece of cheap plastic requiring you to have arms as long as a basketball player to install! Whirlpool do better!!! The installer said it was venting correctly, while I kept insisting problem was the three bends the vent tube took instead of two. Finally installer agreed to fix, and no more "Check Vent Light." Is it fixed now? Who knows? Really a hassle. Be warned. And all because I liked the way the door opened (still do) in my small room.

• I received this product complimentary in return for my review, I just love this dryer it has so many different features such as wrinkle comtrol cycle it automatically uses lower temps to minimize wrinkles, it has a large capacity and can handle large loads. Drying cycle only takes 30 minutes plus it has a built in sensor to measure temperature , my clothes dry so quick and easy thanks to whirlpool. I would highly recommend this product.

• The Whirlpool 7.0 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Auto Sensing has been a fantastic upgrade. It dries clothes evenly and efficiently, and the Auto Sensing feature really makes a difference, no more guessing or worrying about over-drying. I love that it automatically stops when clothes are dry, saving both time and energy. The Wrinkle Shield option is a lifesaver for anyone who forgets to take clothes out right away. The gentle tumbling after the cycle keeps everything smooth and ready to wear. The Quick Dry setting is perfect for small loads or last-minute laundry, and the 7.0 cu. ft. capacity easily handles bulky items like comforters and towels. It’s also surprisingly quiet and looks great when paired with the matching Whirlpool top-load washer. Installation was included and hassle-free. Overall, it’s a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly dryer that makes laundry day a breeze. Highly recommend!

• So far so good. Clothes are dried and wrinkle free in under an hour! This is a VERY basic dryer, which I wanted. I don't need bells and whistles. BUT because I was in a hurry to replace a broken one, I didn't look at every option as close as maybe I should have. There is no display stating how many minutes are left. There are buttons that go by 15min intervals that light up. The dryer door seems very low to the ground. Its almost like it could be on a pedestal or riser. Again, all these things don't affect the performance of the dryer, which so far has been great! Hard to give 5 stars when I've only used it a handful of times. But I would recommend. Great dryer for the price!

• I've had this for a couple of months now and I am very pleased with the efficiency. It seems to actually know when the clothes are perfectly dry, no more, no less. I love a drop down door, when I am removing clothes from the washer, I can just drop them on the door, and when I am removing them from the dryer, I don't drop things on the floor. Great price too.

• Love the dryer — once it was installed 😂 Heads up: the manual is not clear about two screws in the back that only go one way, and my brother-in-law spent 30+ minutes trying to get them in the wrong holes 🤦🏽‍♀️. But once it was set up, it’s been perfect. Dries clothes evenly and quickly, no issues at all

  amandar528_761909/03/2025 12:14 PM

• This dryer works well and was super quick to install. Its nice and quiet and only needs the one run, which is rare! I love that it is a front loader, which makes it easier for us shorties. My only wish is that the opening were a little more or a little lower

• We purchased this Whirlpool dryer along with its counterpart Whirlpool washer about 2 weeks ago. Everything seems in order so far. The previous Whirlpool set lasted about 8 years (with a few repair calls). We hope this excellent performance continues.
