• The dryer is a great product and machine. It dryer clothes fast and easy. Save on light bill. And It comes electric and or gas?? Easy to setup and install.. and they give you everything you will ever need for it.

• Ordered online from Lowe’s. It was delivered damaged. Couldn’t have passed a quality inspection. I’ve called to request a replacement, hold for more than 45 mins each time I have to call. No one from customer service is able to find any documentation of my request even though they sent out a 3rd party consultant to document the issues. Neither whirlpool or their 3rd party consultants have provided any updates and it’s been weeks. This is the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered. Spending hours calling to follow up to get no solution or service. Can’t say I’d give this 1 whole star but it required.

• I got my first brand new dryer a month ago and had problems immediately. It sounded like a bike chain was loose on the inside and it sounded like Santa’s loudest sleigh jingling inside my entire house. I called for a replacement which they promised with ease. They told me it would be delivered on a Friday and it didn’t happen until the following Monday. My second brand new dryer sounds much better but the top piece is loose and doesn’t fit correctly. It still makes a sound, just not as loud or bad. With that being said-even with all of the noises it makes-the dryer dries fantastically. That’s about the only positive.

• Unfortunately this is the worst experience as a new homeowner. Bought the washer and dryer set from Menards. First day of use with the dryer and smoke was coming out and the vent was black and burnt. NOTHING WAS DRYING, Husband Called warranty and he had to take an unpaid work day off to have them come out. they came out said our heater element was broken and they fixed it, nothing else was wrong with it. Recommended we timed dry cause the sensors suck. After that our clothes still weren’t drying and had to be gone through a few cycles to finally try items. I called warranty this time and informed them of it not drying still, warranty dude made me feel like he was being hostile and acting like I didn’t know what I was talking about, blamed us basically saying it was probably the vents, sent out a guy anyways and he went straight to our venting didn’t even bother with the dryer and blamed it on the vents, said that he told my husband that which he NEVER did. We used the vents with the house and nothing was clogging. Said that was it and left. We unplugged it and didn’t use it for a while, started having to use it and that’s when we realized now on top of it all, it was ruining all of our laundry, our blankets are melting and the vents are leaving marks in all of the items. So not only its not drying and taking cycles its also getting to hot and damaging our laundry, so we even put it on the low heat cycle and it still hasn’t worked nicely. I’m scared of reaching out to warranty again for how they talked to me last time and will just blame us I’m sure. As a new homeowner, I expected a brand new appliance to work well and this brand name. Can’t even get a refund from Menards because it would only take it in its original packaging and we can’t afford another brand new dryer. It’s been a stressful and awful experince, raising our electric bill will also damaging our clothing. Can’t seem to get help or guidance.

• I purchased this model in Dec2023. It works fine but Whirlpool offers no customer service. They will not respond to my problem. My dryer has both Whitlpool and Maytag badges on the unit. It looks ridiculous. Obviously no quality control and I am anticipating it to break down any day. Customer service is ghosting me. Buyer beware.

• Would be a negative review but they don't allow that!I purchased this item back in early March 2024, two weeks later it stopped working. Had whirlpool out to fix it every two weeks for two months until the dryer started to smoke and they decided to replace it. They attempted to deliver 2 brand new dryers again and could not fulfill the delivery due to them being defected. My drier currently consist of a $200 close line my husband built, but we live in New York so I have the chance of drying my clothes if I'm lucky once a week!

• In February we bought a new whirlpool washer and dryer to replace our Kenmore set. Very disappointed In both the washer and dryer. The washer doesn't wring out the clothes and much as the Kenmore did and clothes come out very wringled both with and without the agitator in place. The dryer does not seem to dry the clothes as well and they seem damp. The STEAM REFRESH feature does not have directions and makes the clothes, and the door leak water profusely. The washer make lots of very weird noises. We have had support come in once already and have another call in for next month.

• Very pleased with my dryer so many features it has, I thought it was going to be complicated to connect since it has a water valve in the back But I found a helpful videobonline and Saw what I needed and installed in less than 30 minutes. At first I was a bit disappointed it doesnt have a timer to show how long but after it dried up my first load of clothes I was beyond thrilled and excited how fast it dries Up my clothes and the special features it has with the water valve connection for steam refresh. I enjoy all the features my other dryer did not have like wrinkle control and air only. It looks smaller than I expected but it fits quite the load. So far so good I'm very happy and pleased. The only negative thing I have to say is the location of the water valve its the same location of the dryer hose behind the dryer, but Inmade them work out since its not that bulky.

• We have used this less than two weeks, and are totally satisfied. It replaced an older dryer that the moisture sensor never really worked. With the new interface, it took a little bit of thought to determine the correct settings. We did not realize this model had the steam tumble function when we ordered it, only finding out when the optional water connection was found on the rear panel.

• This dryer is amazing drying the clothes and other items. I haven't experienced all the settings yet but the 4 I have, are absolutely great. Although I might say to close the door is somewhat difficult especially since it's not up against a wall. You really have to hold the back of the dryer when closing the door.

• It's a good unit! No complaints whatsoever about the product. However, if you are foolish enough to purchase anything from Lowe's the probability of it being delivered damaged is very high. More importantly... Beware that upon delivery the Lowe's associate who wired the dryer cord at the house did not know what they were doing (SEE ATTACHED PICTURE). The dryer was delivered and left at my home in a state that was completely unsafe to use. The gross negligence of Lowe's could have resulted in a house fire, serious injury, and or loss of life. This is absolutely inexcusable especially since there is a delivery and hook up fee for a Lowe's associate who pretends they know how to safely install these products.

• Bought this a month ago and have had nothing but problems. Like other reviews have said, the door leaks when running the steam refresh or wrinkle refresh cycles. It doesn't dry well, taking several cycles to completely dry things. Overall not happy with the dryer and can't reach customer service to try and resolve the issues that I'm having with it. Chat states their hours and I'm in trying during those times, but it says they're currently closed. I've tried calling twice so far and end up waiting over 30 minutes with no indication that anyone is going to get on the line.

Easily keep loads going on your schedule with the Wrinkle Shield Option which continues tumbling for 150 minutes after the cycle ends . or you can use Timed Dry for extra drying time when you need it. It does an amazing job from everything from small loads to really big loads. One of my favorite features is the steam refresh cycle this feature has been amazing especially with certain materials that wrinkle easy it saves me time because I don’t have to iron them just throw them in the dryer set on steam and the wrinkles come right out !!! love love this feature whirlpool did an amazing job. I have been bragging to everyone about how amazing it is. My friend went out and bought the same Set a week later. Not to mention the stunning color Overall highly recommend you won’t be disappointed

• Door does not close properly Big Kountry Appliance Repair LLC came to repair issue and the did not. They unhooked the water line and reattach it. The told us to call back if it did not fix the issue. They said just keep calling in. Called whirlpool to get service and no one will come out to fix our dryer. All we get is calls stating no one is coming out after we were told by whirlpool they would get a service company to come out for our repair on a dryer that is 30 days old. Very unexpected we have bought whirlpool for years and never had this type of issues.

• Bought washer and dryer a month ago. Right away I noticed the door was very hard to close. But the first day it worked great. Since then, not so much. I keep thinking it's me, that I'm not getting something right since it is higher tech than what I am used to (my last dryer lasted 17 years!). I have to stop it while it is still on or it will keep going, even after the clothes are dry. I have been setting a timer so I know when to go stop it & get my clothes out. The cycle will still show as "wet". On the opposite spectrum, there has been twice that I started it & within 2 minutes it shut off and the "cool" "done", and "signal mute" indicators were all flashing. No rhyme or reason. I want to like this dryer because I love the washer, but not so much.

• Your system is calling the dryer a top load, the dryer I have is a front load electric . The quality of the workmanship is poor….and unacceptable…..the door and door frame appears to be bent causing the door not to close correctly….. this unit needs to be replaced…

• I needed a new dryer and with this one i could dry everything i wash to my hearts content! This dryer is quick, i have not sat and timed it but i sure doesn’t take long. I have had to adjust bulky items to allow them to fully dry but that is expected. The dryer has a touch panel and offers various drying options from temperature levels and drying modes. I can fit my king sized bedding as well as my large loads into the dryer with no issue. The dryer drum is very spacious. Our items come out of the drier soft and fluffy. This dryer is definitely hassle free and you don’t have to worry about it over drying your clothes.

• I bought this dryer in June and it broke during the first week of September due to an electronics issue. The repair technician comes out and says they need to order parts on September 6th. We find out the parts are on back order and assuming they don’t come in they won’t do anything further until at least September 26th at which point they will tell us the next steps. I am without a Dryer for at least a Month, possibly longer due to this warranty policy. Whirlpool won’t compensate in any way or confirm what happens if the part is unavailable by September 26th. I am frustrated by the warranty process being so slow for a critical daily use appliance.

• Let me start by saying I have always bought Whirlpool washers and dryers. And I have never had any problems with them, other than end of life. I bought this dryer and it hasn't worked correctly since first use. It doesn't seem to fully dry loads. At the end of the cycle, the load feels warm, but after 2 or 3 minutes you can feel the dampness still in the clothes. I have gone through the instruction manual making sure I have followed the instructions, but the dryer will not dry fully. I am very disappointed. I wouldn't suggest or recommend this dryer, mainly because I'm not for sure I buy another Whirlpool product.

• My Whirlpool 7.0 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer has totally changed my laundry day for the better. I'm thrilled I no longer have to guess when clothes are dry as it has an automatic dryness sensor that turns the machine off at the exact right time. I also love how big it as is I can actually wash and dry my comforter at home now. With all the drying options (from quick dry to air only and even a towel setting) Whirlpool has perfected their dryer.

• We bought on 11/7/24 and we brought home to install ourselves. We had our three prong plug and we’re trying to attach the plug to the proper wire connectors on the back of the dryer. The area that you attached had a floating nut in the housing which was very difficult to align. The white and red wire attachment was stripped and we had to get more nuts to replace the stripped ones. Luckily we had an older whirlpool dryer part that we could remove the nuts and reuse them. This was a major problem for us. The dryer works well and is easy to use.

• I’m loving my new Whirlpool electric dryer! The drum is so Spacious ! I have no problem drying my really huge comforter inside our new whirlpool dryer . But my favorite feature is definitely the wrinkle reducing setting, it keeps the dryer spinning after drying to prevent wrinkling, it’s pretty impressive and my husband's fancy work shirts come out looking so good and wrinkle free! But best of all, just one drying cycle does the job at drying your entire load, saving you so much time. Unlike my other drier I used to own, that most times took two drying cycles to completely dry a fairly large load but that’s not the issue with this incredibly, wonderful, whirlpool drier since it has your load super dry and utterly soft after simply one drying cycle and I’m so happy to have this whirlpool dryer in my busy life :) signed yours truly, a busy mom of 8 kids a husband and many pets .

• I love the moisture sensitive options on my new Whirlpool dryer, because it knows when the load is dry; therefore, not spending time redrying your clothes. I chose the black color model over the white and it looks great in my new house. The "Steam Refresh" option is a must have. This allows me to refresh bulky items like quilts, blankets, pillows and assists with getting wrinkles out of shirts.

• I received this dryer as a gift from my daughter because my old dryer was 30 yrs old. What a blessing it has been using this dryer that amazingly has a brain. I never imagined drying clothes is a science. My clothes come out wrinkle free and it keeps repeating the cycle until you’re ready to get them out. Amazing ! I’m so blessed and thankful to my daughter for this thoughtful gift. Thank you
