• Second time to replace filter after almost a years use by two people using the water dispenser rarely. Again, having trouble inserting filter replacement after watching video, text, and picture instructions. Ordered two, and tried the second one with same result of water pouring out on the floor. Guess now I will spend more time when calling Whirlpool support in the morning. This refrigerator is about one year old and cost nearly $4000. Likely shop a different brand next time.

• I am in my second water filter replacement and I continue to have the same issues. I have run three about 20 gallons of water trying to drain and clear this filter with no success. The water remains very cloudy and a light milk color. I can see particles floating in the water. I’ve tried calling Whirlpool customer service and have been on hold for up to 25 minutes. I started a live chat and never got a response. I purchased my refrigerator in May and this is the first time we’ve had to replace the filter but again I am on the second one and about $90 in thinking the first replace my was defective and still no change.

• I receive auto-shipments for my water filter. The filter is great, but not the customer service return policy. I did not realize the filter Whirlpool auto-shipped was the wrong one until after 30 days of receiving it. Customer service would not allow me to exchange the filter for the correct one. These filters are $60 each. They offered no discount to order the correct one. I am out $60 when it was no fault of my own. I feel Whirlpool could have done better. Lesson learned…always check and make sure they send the correct filter within 30 days of receiving it.

• This has to be the worst water filter ever manufactured. I have had my Whirlpool refrigerator for four years, and I’ve honestly lost count on how many filters I’ve replaced. Most recently, l purchased off of Amazon and the filter lasted less than 30 days as the water is now at a trickle pace. The previous filter I replaced, lasted less than 45 days. I get so frustrated replacing filters at $60 every 30 days. The complete utter failure of these water filters has forever turned me away from Whirlpool. I will never purchase or recommend a Whirlpool product. This is absolutely ridiculous.

• You sent me Filter 1's instead of Filter 2's. The "contact us" link on my shipment notification email literally goes to a dead page. It would be helpful to have a way to respond directly about my order on the actual email. So I found a number to call by searching. It went to the wrong department. After waiting 20 minutes, they transferred me to the correct department but they had already left for the day. The entire experience makes this 1 star.

• [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] EveryDrop Ice & Water Refrigerator Filter 2 (Orange). This is the second EveryDrop filter I've used in my KitchenAid refrigerator. It's easy to remove & install. Simple push-in design with a twist-to-lock mechanism. It's important to flush the new filter by dispensing several gallons of water out before drinking to clear air & carbon dust. The water & ice comes out clean & clear looking. The taste is good quality, love the ice! I don't taste anything odd, no odors or floaters. The downside: it says to replace the filter every 6 months or 200 gallons. The price range is on the expensive side. I would definitely recommend for the quality, not by the price.

• So disappointed! Ordered a 2-pack. Changed filter - water flow slowed dramatically! It shouldn't take 4-5 minutes (literally) to fill my water bottle. Chalked up to faulty filter. Replaced it with the second one from my 2-pack - SAME THING!!!! Thought that the water line might be clogged but tried removing the filter and 4-5 minutes turned into less than 20 seconds. Won't be putting this filter in my fridge again. PS - EveryDrop: Please do not feel you have to post the computer-generated response about "Thank you for your message and call us." Will no longer be wasting my hard-earned money. #CustomerLost

• I am very frustrated! Unable to install #2 filter in my whirlpool refrigerator WRF767SDH. Removed old filter and insert the new one, but it will not rotate completely to lock. I had ordered 2 replacements so I tried the second one with similar results. Called the appliance dealer- no help. I watched several instructional videos to ensure I was attempting installation correctly. Called your 800 number and listened to a continuous loop of commercials for nearly 40 minutes with no help. Please provide a solution!

• First thank you Whirlpool or creating this site to purchase filters what a novel idea! I don't have to run all around trying to figure out which filter my fridge takes your website told me right away. Unfortunately, when I go to purchase them the select feature on your buy button is stuck in a never-ending Loop. I even sang the song: "oh, I'm in a never-ending loop it's true.........from now on I'll be waiting on you." Could it be that the URL hypertext doesn't like my VPN? That would be BAD for you and for me.

• I've ordered four of these since March. The first two lasted about 2 weeks before the flow rate slowed to crawl and there was barely any ice being made. The third one almost made it two months, but then the same thing happened. I just got one delivered at the end of July. It's not August 10th and I'd say I'd be lucky to get another week out of it before it becomes dreadfully slow. I do all the necessary steps to flush new filters when I get them, running about 4 gallons through them, but they just don't last. For the amount of money I'm spending on filters I could buy a brand new refrigerator in a year.

Why gamble a good amount of money on something that may or may not work. I decided to invest in a filter that I knew I could rely on. It installed easily with no issues and has been delivering clean water and ice ever since. I'd give it 5 stars but I still think they are over priced.

• I've only had this filter installed since 9/12 and it is 9/30. The filter status says 68%. What a useless product. I replaced my GE Fridge with MWF filters that I swapped out every 6-7 months based on its replacement gauge and the same usage patterns as our current usage with our Whirlpool Fridge and these garbage EveryDrop filters. The last EveryDrop filter lasted from June 2020 to September 2020, so not even close to 6 months of use with the same usage patterns as my previous fridge and consumption with a GE MWF filter that has the same estimated timeframe. This product is terrible.

• Have used these filters for years, usually lasting the 6 months it states on the packaging. In the last year they have changed and we now get 2 months, if we're lucky, before the water slows to a trickle and you have to replace. Seen several other reviews like this but seems like Whirlpool has no concern over the repeated complaints. Very sad for a pricey filter. Seems to be a sad response from Whirlpool to correct. Converting to GE appliances. Not my first issue with Whirlpool products. I'm done with them as they are not even recommended by my local appliance center anymore.

• I bought this filter in June and it’s been leaking constantly since then! It had no visible damage, was installed correctly, and reinstalled correctly just to be sure. My partner took the entire fridge apart trying to figure out what was wrong with it. It’s dripping from several different places around where the water filter is installed. This filter is supposed to last for 6 months! I can’t afford $60 per filter if it’s a crapshoot whether they’re going to work or not.
