• Very impressed. Water tastes good. I feel safe drinking and letting kids drink as well. Fairly easy to change and replace. It’s recommended to switch out every 6 months. Ice cubes are clear and flavorless. Old filter left ice with nasty specs- noticed having this filter a huge difference in a wonderful way. Couldn’t be more happier.

• This is exactly what we needed for the wonderful fridge we have to make the ice and water perfect again! It keeps the water running smooth and the ice maker in my fieezwr working amazingly perfect and the ice taste great it works great now and I am so happy! It was so easy to install. This is exactly what we need and. Ow we can save money and time using the water straight from the fridge this filters the water just like it is bottled water! • I entered the number from my refrigerator, the number listed inside the door on the sticker that says "Model" followed by a number. Your website says "Please enter a valid model number" even though the number I entered, and rechecked several times, matches exactly to the number on my refrigerator sticker "Model" number. Then, I try to watch how to install the filter to that I can remove the exiting filter to find its item number. The link to watch the instructional videos doesn't work. Nothing happens when I try to click on it. What's going on, Whirlpool? How is a customer supposed to figure out what filter is needed and how to remove the old one and install a new one????

• This is the new water filter I received from #influenster and @whirlpool , #whirlpool for my honest opinions, also my old one, , my old one is Samsung, which I thought was compatible with the new one (whirlpool) but it's not, but this one looks great and very durable. > this water filter (whirlpool) removes 99.9 % of lead and harmful contaminates in our water 💧 whirlpool has been around for many generations, they are a trusted brand, my family has trusted them for many years, you know your getting great quality products at reasonable prices, there products are durable.. Your water filter should be changed every 6 mos, and u know your getting clean contaminate free water.

• I decided to buy my filter from Whirlpool, that was a bad decision. My filter worked for about 3 or 4 weeks then the water stream started to be very weak. I tried contacting Whirlpool for help. First with virtual assistant and that was a waste of time. So I then called and was on hold forever. I could have driven to Lowes and returned and got a new one in the time it took to reach someone at Whirlpool for help. Don't waste you time buying products from Whirlpool, if there is a problem you are going to have a hard time getting help.

• Installation was easy and the filter works great. It was compatible with our refrigerator and the quality and taste of water was fresh and clean. Highly recommend this product for safe drinking water and for cooking. To insert the new filter in the slot, line it up with the grooves, push in and turn it to the right. I have to change the filter every 3-4 months. It locks in place without any issues and definitely recommend using the filter.

• DO NOT BUY THESE (I doubt this review will be posted anyway, but just in case). First, they don't work (slow/pulsating flow, not the flow speed advertised). Second, you can't return them once the seal on the filter is removed. Third, you can't return any of the filters for a partial return even if you've never used them (e.g. if it's a pack of 2 and you used 1 filter for 1 minute, only to find that it doesn't work, now you can't return any of them). I will never purchase another whirlpool product ever again! Hope it was worth it for you to be this anti consumer Whirlpool!

• Love being able to filter out all sorts of contaminants with my fridge water! I did find it a little tricky to unhook the old filter (I was worried I was going to break it if I twisted too hard), but it was so easy to pop the new one in! You do need to flush 4 gallons of water through before using the filter, so grab a bucket and give your plants a good water before you enjoy some fresh water for yourself!

• I received my new water filter timely, I just didn't check the box as we didn't need it as soon as it was delivered (went from a 4 person to 2 person household) so I missed the 30 day return/refund window. When it came time to change the filter, I noticed that I had received the wrong model and called customer service. They would not honor the return/exchange (30 day return policy and all). Very disappointed that I noticed too late but also with the fact that the company did nothing, even though I was sent the wrong filter. I guess I expected something, maybe a small discount since I had to purchase a brand new filter, at a higher price.

• Installation for this filter was simple, quick and easy! It took a few seconds to pop and twist in. The water tasted crisp and clean afterwards! It was very compatible with my whirlpool so I didn’t have any issues connecting it as well. As for affordability, I would rate this an 8.5 -9 making it in the top most affordable. Less than $40 with store coupons.

• As per the Whirlpool website, this filter is supposed to be compatible with my refrigerator. But it is not! I ended up spending weeks to understand why my refrigerator was making so much noise with this filter. Now, I am beyond 30-day return policy and can't even get my money back.
